UNITE US!
by Belinda Jabore
We must take the risk to unite in the church no matter what it takes. Unite in “The Faith”. Unite us oh God in a right spirit towards You and each other.
The Holy Spirit highlighted a scene in Braveheart, which I think was around the 7th time I have seen this movie, and He impacted me in the scene when Robert the Bruce so wanted to be like Braveheart's Mel Gibson. Robert the Bruce saw how fearless and couragess Braveheart was to stand for the truth and freedom of others and fight for it, and yet regardless of how he admired and wanted to be like Braveheart, he betrayed him when it was his chance to stand for what was right at that hour. This was an opportunity for him, but Robert the Bruce succumbed to mans tradition and what was thought to be right, therefore betraying the true move….
This is for all of us, but I feel to say and alert the Indigenous First Nation people, as they need to be aware of this as white people have tried, and still will try, to take the reins and power and then think they are leading the move of God in Australia. The Indigenous First nation people however must be at the forefront and leading this battle, and lead and unite with the right ones God has connected their hearts with. Even though there is risk to unite together we must be brave just as Braveheart was for the battle of unity and freedom in the right Godly order. So this is where this word is coming from and what I see in the future, and is happening now, and will come against carriers of the truth and freedom of the church especially the Indigenous First Nation people. We must unite together and get behind them to unite to be the Apostolic prophetic five fold ministers in their own right, and we must bring the church into true freedom of what she needs to be and to stay that way - “Her true call uniting together as one”.
Look out Australia, the Indigenous First Nation people will take their place and position, uniting together for God’s plans and purpose and the religious spirit will not like it.
Betrayers and betrayals will come saying they are for truth and freedom of the apostles doctrine and unity, but they will betray, saying they want to fight the good fight with you but then turn and side with the more accepted move, even when they have the ability to help you they will just leave you in a vulnerable position when that is the time they could shine in God to help wherever they could, but they will turn their backs on the true move of God. Leaders in prominent positions who say they are friends of God and know Him. Religious power hungry prideful men and woman who bow down to traditions of men who love religion more than Jesus who will try to stop what Jesus and the Father wants to accomplish for His kingdom purposes. They love to be in power drawing attention to themselves without the Holy Spirit, having a religious form of power but no Holy Spirit true power; therefore controlling what people think is the Holy Spirit. This is happening now.
But God will prevail and His truth will bring freedom and the gates of hell shall not prevail over His church. God will have His way. Women and Men apostles at the helm together with prophets with the rest of the five fold ministers together will identify and remove these spirits so others can live to stand in their rightful place and authority. Godly order to bring truth and freedom in the church as it is meant to be. It will not matter what color you are or what culture you have come from, regardless of these things all of us will “unite’ with God’s kingdom plans and purpose at the forefront of our heart and minds. Kingdom overrules culture. Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Apostles get to the heart of the matter and their love for each other and love of the truth will be evident. Their unity and peace will bring Godly order.
Footnotes from Aramaic New Testament say -
The burden of change is upon mankind to nurture the spiritual man according to the image of Elohim, but false religion puts the burden of change on Heaven, demanding that heaven conform to man’s religion.
It is so true of what has been and is and is coming in a greater way to the body of Christ.
Just as Jesus Christ died so must the mighty apostles and men and women of “the faith” in the spirit and the natural, to every thing that they have had or known? Loving their life unto death for Jesus Yeshua. Just like those who have fought for freedom before- there is a great price to pay. These mighty saints are instruments and carriers of truth to change the direction of where the truth has been twisted; it can only be done by those authorized by the Holy Spirit, Jesus and Father God and their order.
All colors and people groups will unite together. Cultures or traditions of men will not compromise the truth and only God’s Kingdom plans and purposes will prevail, as cultures will unite. Kingdom Rule overrides cultural rule.
Lovers of the truth, apostles with prophets uniting together with the evangelists, pastors, teachers. Five fold, as one, they all will unite then with other truth bearers and carriers of the same heart as Jesus and the Father and their Holy right spirit.
A remnant together as one, doing the work of the Kingdom of heaven.
Unite our hearts oh God - Unite us!

WARNING - WHAT IS 'MODERATE' AND WHAT IS 'RADICAL'?
by Glenice Mills
“We need to find a way of making it ‘us’, all moderates, against them, all radicals of all religions.” Australian Prime Minister, Mr. Malcolm Turnbull.
This would have to be the most serious statement a person has ever made that is a challenge to the Church right now and in particular the Church in Australia. This is our political leader speaking. For many of us who have known that there is a move to undermine the freedom of the church it is now been spoken and acknowledged. There are many dangers on a number of levels.
We can take this statement as addressing the Muslims and those who hold to their extremist views however there is much more behind it. We, the body of Christ need to ask ourselves some serious questions right now.
How is ‘radical religions’ defined? Is a Pentecostal, Charismatic church classed as a radical because it believes in Baptism of the Holy Spirit? Is an apostolic/prophetic church defined as a ‘radical’ because they speak out and address unrighteousness, injustices and ungodliness? Is a church that meets on a Sunday who is not threatening to what is deemed ‘politically correct’ defined as radical or is it what is called a ‘moderate’?
The Dictionary meaning of moderate is: avoiding extremes, one who holds moderate views, make less violent, intense, to becomes less vehement.
The Dictionary meaning of radical is: fundamental, far-reaching, holding extreme views, revolutionary, advocating radical reforms.
How do you define ‘a way of making it ‘us’? Is this saying we all need to agree by compromising, accepting the opinions of the loud minority, or ‘let’s all be friends no matter our religious, political, financial, social beliefs?’ If this is so, then we are heading down a road of increasing unrest, intolerances, prejudices, divisions and factions. It is the very opposite of ‘us’. It is the beginning of fascism, the mouths of the people shut up and the rising up of ungodly dictatorships.
Is there a political agenda here? Is there a push to silence the mouths of those who would make a stand for what is right and true? Undoubtedly!
The church is on the cusp of serious choices whether they choose to bow to what is politically correct by joining with and aligning ourselves with other religions to ‘keep the peace’ or are we going to stand out, stand apart, and not compromise, appease and agree with what we know is against God and His ways. Will we be the remnants who do not bow the knee to all that is idolatrous or will we be prepared to count the cost by being different with its associated persecutions, ostracism and isolation?
Does this mean that when we Christians speak out against social issues such as abortion, homosexuality, same sex marriage and euthanasia that we are deemed radicals and therefore we need to change so we become more ‘us’? What say some of say, “no, we won’t be quiet on these issues?” What happens to us? We will be viewed as the same as a murderous jihadi?
We are already seeing examples where church leaders have been challenged because of their stance of some of these issues. This is happening in America and we are not and will not be immune either if we are truly going to make a stand for what is right and true.
Church wake up!!! This is not the hour to stay comfortable, safe and secure in our little bubble of ‘false peace’. The greatest test is coming on the Church and it is happening now on our watch. What legacy do we want to leave our children and grandchildren? Let’s not fall for what appears to be right and open the door for deception. It’s time to be on the alert like never before!
THE DANGER OF TOKENISM
by Glenice Mills
We live in a world of slogans, sayings and catchy themes. Language is a subtle way the enemy can numb us to believe lies and say things that have no foundation on fact, truth or wisdom. We say things not realizing the power of the words we speak.
I want to address something that is being blithely spoken at this time, which is a part of our language, but is a very serious thing to speak.
Everywhere at the moment after the Paris bombings, leaders, Christians and peoples from all nations are saying, “My thoughts and prayers are with those in Paris”. Words are cheap. If we are truly honest we are probably thinking of other things and our prayers may be a quick ‘Help the people in Paris Lord’ and then we get on with our own thoughts and prayers for our own needs and wants.
Many who don’t know the Lord as Saviour still pray and that is the marvel of mankind that has this deep innate seed on the inside of all to reach out to God in prayer.
I am not being critical or judgmental because the truth is the Lord hears our prayers, He knows our hearts and I know He is grieved about what is happening in Paris and in the world. Rather I am challenging the heart intent behind the words we speak or more importantly what we don’t speak.
I fear tokenism is behind a lot of things and our religiousness will have us speak things that we have absolutely no intention of actually carrying out. I wonder how many people who have said the words ‘my thoughts and prayers are with Paris’ have actually sat down, sought the Lord for His heart for Paris, or whatever is on His heart in France or other nations that are also experience devastating things.
Tokenism means granting minimum concessions, making a token effort. I think we are all guilty of this in some measure, however we need to be very careful particularly as Christians when we give our word to someone that we carry it out. So perhaps we need to be more mindful of what we commit to saying and doing?
My question is: from what heart intent is these prayers for Paris being offered up? Emotion is powerful but the foundation of the emotion is critical. Sadly many are praying for Paris out of fear and anger. What ‘religion’ is the base from which these prayers are being said? What false foundation are these prayers based on? Man’s opinions? False peace? Do the people really care or they only doing ‘the right thing’ from pretense?
Many prayers are to a god, but not to Father God, through Jesus Christ our intercessor. Does God hear these prayers?
I have no doubt that many Christians are burdened with Paris and France right now and this is rightly so. Others have burdens for other nations, people or situations. The Lord reveals His heart to His people and we all have a responsibility to stand with, pray, love and support those who need us. Prayer is not just words it is actions. Prayer is a free will choice, not an obligation.
Let’s seek God for His perspective on some things. Yes He is a God of love, compassion and mercy, however let’s be on target and pray what He wants us individually to pray, not from wrong emotions, obligation or because it’s the right thing to do. Let’s not say, “I’ll pray for you” and go on our merry way with no intention of doing what we just said. Watch out for tokenism – it is subtly in our culture and speech. Let’s come back to what God says.
Let’s not forget this:
James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The EFFECTIVE prayer of a righteous man avails much.

LAZARUS
by Jesse-John Jabore
Have you experienced the amazing saving grace of God similar to Lazarus being raised from the dead?
Beware...... the religious spirit of this age that resides in the ‘powers that think they be’ is prowling like a hungry lion. Its intent is to devour not only the ‘Son of God’ in you, but the testimony of His miracle working power......that is YOU!
John Chapter 12 v 9 – 11 ‘Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, because ON ACCOUNT OF HIM many went away and believed in Jesus’.
When the reality of Jesus’ power is displayed, the recoil effect upon the doctrine of people under the control of a religious spirit is massive. There is false doctrine and true doctrine. In this instance true/correct doctrine is that Jesus is the Son of God, with the miracle Lazarus being raised from the dead. False doctrine finds its origins in unbelief. As Barnes once said “unbelief stops at no crime”.........’but the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also’. So, the weapon may be formed but it won’t prosper. Be encouraged. You will not die you will live......He’s a GREAT God!

GOD SPEAKS - REACT OR RESPOND
by Glenice Mills
It is interesting as you read the Word of God to see how different people react when God reveals Himself and speaks to them. There are many and varied reactions that we can learn from. I love the way God speaks to the potential, when the very opposite is happening. That is how He is with us. We can, however learn some things from the wrong reactions.
Gideon: In Judges 6:12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”
We then see Gideon’s reaction in the following verse: Judges 6:13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles that our fathers told us about, saying, “Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?” But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”
Just like Gideon our unbelief and the bowing to our circumstances going on around and about us override what the Lord has just spoken.
Gideon did not react like a man of valor but rather a frightened, overwhelmed man who did not show any leadership skills. As we see further in Scripture Gideon did become a man of valor with a few tests a long the way.
God speaks to us, and we then quickly become overwhelmed by the circumstances we find ourselves in. We negate what God has just spoken.
Like Gideon we are no different!
Another example is Moses who after God had shown him many miraculous signs he still doubted that he could lead the children of Israel to the Promised land.
Exodus 4:10,11 Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?’
We see Moses still contended with God about his ability to speak and was not happy until God gave him Aaron to speak for him.
How often after the Lord has spoken to us and asked us to do something for Him do we then look at our inadequacies, making excuses for all the things we are not, rather all that we are?
Like Moses, we are no different!
Another interesting example is when Elisha stayed with Elijah until he ascended to heaven. The sons of the prophets saw this, yet they still had to go and search for three days to see if they could find Elijah, even after seeing the miracle.
Again it is easy to fall into the trap of ‘maybe just maybe what I had will come back.’ It is easy to want to go back to what we had, what we knew, and therefore resist the new that has come. We don’t see and appreciate the ‘now moment’.
We have to be very careful as even experiencing miracles does not necessarily increase our faith. There are many seeking the signs, wanting to feel and know ‘the glory’ but again change doesn’t necessarily come. People search out the next feel good occasion, the next conference to get the ‘high’, but things don’t change in people’s lives, they still go on with the same bad attitudes and habits. The high is not sustained, life is maintained, but growth is not evident.
The exciting thing is that Moses and Gideon grew as men of God and became all that He said they would become. The reality is the negative reactions also caused ongoing problems for them. Aaron, Moses brother who Moses asked to speak his words for him, also became a problem to him.
We have to be constantly flexible to what the Lord is saying and doing or we will miss a very strategic opportunity.
It is interesting to see what happened when Jesus called His disciples.
Matthew 4:18-20
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers; Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
They immediately left their nets and followed Him.
The same happened with the other disciples. Jesus called them and they immediately stopped what they were doing and followed Jesus.
So what made these men instantly obey? They all had to give up something they knew, a job, and a lifestyle to follow Jesus. God had prepared these men’s hearts so when Jesus came to them, they without hesitation followed Him.
The Lord is requiring it of His people right now – one’s that He has earmarked for a specific job to do to advance His Kingdom in this hour. God’s heart cry remains – ‘FOLLOW ME!” It will mean giving up some things, there will be a personal cost, and there will be persecution. Let’s not fall into the trap of one’s who react but rather respond with “Yes Lord I choose to follow You no matter what.” The choice is mine the choice is yours. We have free will. Let’s not hesitate, time is short, there is a work to be done!

GENERATIONAL CHANGE
by Glenice Mills
A number of years ago I wrote a word about the ‘generation gap’. It was a saying that came about during the 60’s and 70’s when there was a cultural shift in morals, and life values. It was the beginning of a greater rebellion against God and His ways. It was a defining time in history. It was the beginning of pitting one generation against another. The good news was, it also saw the birth of the Jesus movement.
The words ‘generation gap’ have brought consequences that to this day have defined groups according to age. It has locked people into what man says are a particular group people should belong too. It has shaped culture since. The truth is the enemy has lied and bondage has resulted.
The dictionary meaning of gap is a breach in hedge, fence or wall; empty space, interval, deficiency, and wide divergence in views.
The result of a gap is a chasm, a divide that has to be filled. Guess who fills the gap? The enemy! He has promoted the mindset of the wide divergence of views of misunderstanding between the generations.
Instead of us embracing the differences we have succumbed to the great age divide.
A gap brings separation, a divide, division, a ‘them and us’. This ‘them and us’ leads to isolation, which results in a superiority and pride. It creates a social and cultural divide. It breeds inclusiveness and exclusiveness.
It is interesting to note in most churches there are group divisions such as youth, married, young mothers, and elderly. There is nothing wrong with these groups getting together meeting their individual needs. However the problem arises when there is no cross-pollination among the different groups. The danger is a fragmentation – a breaking off, casting out because of a hidden prejudice.
It is such a fine line and the lie is subtle. It distorts what God truly represents, and that is family – all ages, sexes, and nations meeting together as one in true unity in diversity. It is where there is mutual honour and respect. The walls of division come down and the building of true oneness in God, each gleaning the unique aspects of the different groups begins to form.
The Lord reminded me where over twenty years ago I foreran a programme in the kindergarten I led where the elderly from a neighbouring old people’s home would come visit us for a short time once a fortnight. It was interesting to watch the children’s reaction and also the way the elderly responded. We used to bake something for morning tea and prepare a musical item. The elderly came alive, were excited and willingly joined in our activities.
We also used to regularly go and visit them at the old people’s home where they would entertain us with an item and provide morning tea. Friendships and bonds were made and the walls of division came down.
Of interest was the Asian children were so much freer in relating to the elderly and most other children struggled to connect.
It is interesting to note that in recent times they are planning both old age facilities and childcare/preschools in the same grounds. There is a mutual benefit for all.
The truth is God created us to need one another. We dare not fall into the trap of favouring one particular group over another. The Lord’s heart is about legacy. It is about us all embracing our differences and drawing what we need from one another. The young need the wisdom of the older ones and the older ones need the zeal of the young. Together we are an expression of the fullness of God.
The Lord has burdened me with the importance and how crucial it is that we encourage, promote, and allow the expression of the young to have a voice. That is not just an occasional opportunity to preach, or share, but to provide a platform for them to be who they are truly called to be. It is drawing out the gifts, anointing and unique ways they have so we will also be fired up. The Lord is rising up some young ones with maturity beyond their years, with a social conscience, and there is a quickening of positioning for them so they can be most effective. Time is short and we dare not hold them back as we need them to forge ahead to bring about His Kingdom purposes.
This word may appear to encourage the generation gap by singling out one particular group, - the young, however God is highlighting some and we need to know who He is speaking and revealing His truth too. Inclusivity encourages all to be all they are called to be no matter the age, sex or culture.
Joel 2:28,29
“And it shall come to pass afterward
that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.
God is and will pour out His Spirit on all flesh – that is the young, the old, male and female. There will be no exclusive groups, but all loving, supporting, in unity being and doing all God has anointed them too.
We must be aware where we break into our groups according to age, but rather draw from one another the unique expressions of God, so together we can begin to display the fullness of Jesus Christ in His body of believers. Let’s recognize where we have believed and accepted the lie about the generation gap, repent of the division and move toward one another, encouraging, standing with and wanting the best. Be quick to repent of comparisons, jealousies and making judgments that encourage division. Watch what we say – “The young have it so easy, they don’t have to go through decades of hardship like we did.” I often hear the older ones say this. We don’t know and see the big picture of what God is doing in this hour, but what I have noticed is He is doing a quick work in the young because time is short and He needs them to mature in Him because evil is increasing. We need one another like never before. Let’s embrace the different expressions and move forward together. We are on an exciting journey!

MANY LEADERS, MANY WORDS
by Glenice Mills
Last night (Monday 14th September 2015) we saw the demise of another leader of this nation of Australia by the hands of an ambitious man. We saw the end of true democracy where the votes of the people were no longer truly upheld and instead the political party room fears of self -promoting won out. This is a sad day for Australia and for democracy.
Australians would say they live in a land of abundance, freedom and blessings. However there is a deep discontent that drives the people to always want change to the leadership in this nation. The issue with Australia is a LEADERSHIP issue. There is a deep cry that says: “give me a leader who will make the hard decisions” but whenever a leader tries to lead they are then vilified, made a joke of, mocked and derided. The very thing the people want is quickly shot down in flames. The venom and vitriol associated is vile and vulgar. It reflects poorly on the people and is a disgraceful display viewed by other nations as unusual. Other world leaders look at Australia and wonder what we are so ungrateful for. They are envious of our economy, lifestyle, and all the good this nation has to offer – particularly its people. But we CAN’T SEE IT!!!
New Zealand’s Prime Minister, the Honorable Mr. John Key was heard to say: “what is wrong with Australian politics that they have so many leaders when the strength of the economy and other key indicators would not warrant regular leadership spills.”
What is wrong that we have had so many leadership changes in a short time? Why is this happening and what can be done to rectify this? We need to come back to the Word of God and what it says.
So what does Scripture say about a nation that has many leaders?
Proverbs 28:2
When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.
When you think of Australia you would not think it is an unstable nation. The truth and reality is: it is an UNSTABLE NATION! And yes perhaps we could say it is in fact God’s judgment. We must come back to the words, when a land transgresses, in other words, when there is sin there are many rulers. There are some things that the Lord is judging right now.
We have seen through out history where many third world nations have had many leaders overthrown bringing political instability. Have we considered that perhaps we also have political instability? It would certainly seem that way!
The voice of the people has been shut, and the value of a vote has been cut down so you could say the foundation of our governance is not good.
This word could seem extreme, however we need to stop and consider what is happening here, right now.
We have seen throughout the Bible and history where God has put in place both Godly and ungodly leaders depending on the state of His people. God puts the leaders in place to bring about His greater Kingdom purposes. It is no different today.
There are some observations I would like to make that are important to note at this time.
Malcolm Turnbull, our new Prime Minister is known to speak many words. He is described as verbose, however it will be what will trip him up. Scripture says in Proverbs 10:19
In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise.
When many words are spoken it is easy to forget what one has said and promised. The heart of the message gets lost and it causes a stumbling and tripping up. It is a trap for the foolish. This will happen to our new leader.
We have seen in the past where those leaders who have overthrown a sitting Prime Minister have not remained. They have been spoken of as a traitor who ousted a sitting Prime Minister. No matter if they were a good leader or not these words were later used as an accusation against them. The same will happen with Mr. Turnbull. Why? It is the law of reaping and sowing.
Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
So what are the deep issues that keep Australia stuck in this leadership battle?
LEADERSHIP: I think we need to ask ourselves where are the true leaders, that is one’s who have a genuine heart for the betterment of Australia rather than their personal agenda. Why is it that when a leader tries to lead they are quickly ousted? It seems that true Godly leadership is pulled down for an unrighteous agenda of power and self-interest.
THANKSGIVING: We as a nation have forgotten we are blessed. There is ungratefulness and a sense of entitlement that is founded on self and what is in it for me. There is a constant rumbling of discontent that fuels ungratefulness. Unless and until we are truly thankful for what we have in this nation we will continue in the cycle of the revolving door leadership.
MOCKERY: There is a mocking stronghold principality over Australia that verbally pulls down leaders and the way they do things. People are quick to sneer at and speak against any leaders who try to take a stand for what is right. We have seen this with the way Mr. Abbott has been treated. It is unbecoming and in no way is edifying of leadership.
DISHONOUR: I have to say it is embarrassing to witness the dishonor that is given to those in leadership positions. There is a dumbing down of the position with an overfamiliarity that keeps everyone on the same level. The truth is all leaders are worthy of honour because of the position they hold. Our Prime Minister is the leader of this nation, they represent all that we are and for us to dishonor them is rude and crass.
DISRESPECT: All people are worthy of respect and to demean anyone, particularly a nation’s leader is uncalled for. There is an overfamiliarity that keeps everyone on the same level.
IT STARTS WITH THE CHURCH!
I know many have been praying for Mr. Abbott to remain as Prime Minister as he has made a stand for righteousness. He has been a vocal opponent of same sex marriage. The Lord sees the big picture and He knows what is ahead for Australia. As a church we need to recognize the battles we are in and rise up and speak out for what is right and true. I have no doubt God’s heart is for Australia to be a sheep nation. The End Time church is arising in Australia and we will be a voice for righteousness and justice. God will have His way! He does see and hear our prayers! We will be able to declare: what the enemy meant for evil God WILL turn around for good!
Job 12:23
He makes nations great, and destroys them;
He enlarges nations and guides them.
We must never forget this nation of Australia is God’s nation. He is God!
Last night (Monday 14th September 2015) we saw the demise of another leader of this nation of Australia by the hands of an ambitious man.
Job 12:23
He makes nations great, and destroys them;
He enlarges nations and guides them.
We must never forget this nation of Australia is God’s nation. He is God!

IN CHRIST OR FOR CHRIST
by Glenice Mills
Perhaps one of the greatest traps we can fall into is where we do something ‘for’ the Lord instead of ‘in’ the Lord. There is a huge difference between the two.
It is good to often consider whether or not we are doing something ‘for’ the Lord.
This is where what we do crosses to ‘works’. Our intentions may be good but the way we go about doing something is the problem. It is so easy to start out doing what the Lord wants, but then we subtly add our interpretation. It is our often-well meaning thinking that ‘we know a better way’, or a short cut, to bring to a conclusion. This is where we cross the fine line.
Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
So what things make us do something ‘for’ the Lord?
1. Pride – When we think we know better and put our hands to something the Lord never asked us too.
2. Impatience – The truth is some things can take a very long time to come to pass. We may have had a prophetic word speaking into our potential, but time seems to be running out. This is when we try and make something happen in our impatience. This is often at a crucial time when we are on the cusp of breakthrough.
3. Our own competence – Often we are able in and of ourselves to make something happen; however the timing may not yet be quite right. We draw from our own skills to bring something to pass.
4. Deep rooted fears – Fear of missing out, fear of failure, and fear of rejection can set us up to make us do something that it is not yet time to do.
5. Rebellion – I’m going to do it anyway! This is where our attitude is wrong and we have deep issues with the season in God we find ourselves in. This is when we purposefully do something when we know we aren’t meant too, going against what the Holy Spirit has revealed and/or counsel we have received.
6. Religious mindsets – This is the way it has always been done so I will continue to go this way. It is where one is immovable, inflexible to any changes and will hold onto the old way of doing something no matter what. As a result we do something for God but He never endorsed it.
7. Performance based – We have always done things to earn love, approval and acceptance from people so will strive to make something happen in our own strength so we feel secure.
The good news is we don’t have to remain in old ways of doing things. The enemy loves to have the Lord’s people burn out, trying to earn their salvation.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
So what happens when we do something ‘in’ Christ? The results are quite different.
1. Humility – We know we are not able to do something in and of ourselves and are completely reliant on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We make choices from a place of fear of the Lord – not wanting to grieve Him.
2. Maturity – We have learnt what it is to walk in the perfect timing of God Patience has developed as a fruit in our lives.
3. We know without the Lord we can do nothing and we need Him to anoint and enable us to do what we have too. It can only be done in Him.
4. We may have fears, but we know as we run into Him that He is our security, our safe place, and we are loved no matter what.
5. Obedience – We only want to do what the Father tells us and have a deep desire to walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit’s leading. We want to do what ‘s right no matter the personal cost.
‘In’ is a little word, like the word ‘if’. These words come with conditions. They speak of a choice, a right way or a wrong way of doing something.
Galatians 3:26
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
Let’s watch that we don’t fall into the trap of doing things FOR CHRIST instead of IN CHRIST.

THE ARISING OF THE VOICE OF INDIGENOUS WOMEN
by Glenice Mills
Recently many women from Women’s Apostolic Alliance attended the Indigenous Women’s conference held in Ipswich. This was not a WAA event however the Lord had shown us that it was going to be a very strategic. Apostle Dr. Lynne Hamilton was the main speaker and she taught on the apostolic and I spoke about the prophetic. The Lord moved very powerfully and we know that victory and freedom came to all women who attended. It was a defining time for all of us. There was incredible unity, and we were truly of one heart, one mind and in one accord. There was time of repentance, declarations and a coming together in communion and prayer.
It was such an honour to be a part of this epoch time where we are seeing the rising of women, particularly the indigenous women of Australia. Many have done much in secret; they are doing amazing exploits in their communities, often alone. They spoke of being the door to their families, particularly their men. There was a powerful time of prayer for their men and for God to move to bring breakthrough for them.
There is a sound coming out from many Indigenous women, a sound of war. There has been a wrong perception of the Aboriginal people as being passive, and quiet however this is a lie of the enemy. This warrior sound, birthed out of brokenness and injustice will break strongholds of prejudice, division and misunderstanding.
We dare not shut the mouths of those who are called to speak in this hour; they have a cry that must be heard. God is raising His five-fold Indigenous women – His apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists, and they will speak and declare God’s truth. The enemy is trembling as it loses ground because a victorious group of His women take their position as His voice in this land.
Revival won’t come to the church in Australia until God’s men and WOMEN, alongside our Indigenous men and WOMEN come together in unity. All walls of division – prejudice, judgments and wrong attitudes towards one another are repented and renounced and choosing to embrace our diversity, in love and honour toward one another. We must come in the opposite spirit of division because of prejudice and misunderstanding between one another. We dare not try and make the indigenous become like us non-indigenous by trying to get them to be ‘more like us’. That is pride, arrogance and superiority on our part!
Acts 10:34-35
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
God does not have favorites. He loves us all. Let’s get His perspective!

SHAKING THE OLD FOUNDATIONS
by Glenice Mills
During worship on the 20th June 2015 the Lord spoke to me. This is what He said:
“Open your eyes – see what is happening! The seasons, the times – don’t be numb! Don’t go to sleep – wake up – open your eyes – see what I am doing.
I am doing a new thing, there’s a stirring, a stirring, a rumbling – things are shaky. Why do you fear? I am shaking the old – foundations are crumbling.
They have to crumble – have to crumble – so I can build – build on the new foundations. Many are falling – churches are falling – My plans – so I can build the new!”
When the Lord first spoke this word to me I was unsure what old foundations He was shaking. There are so many areas that the Lord could shake however He showed me it was in His body of believers. There is coming a time that the true fullness of the Bride will begin to come forth. In order for this to happen old foundations have to crumble. It will be by the hand of God, and many will be shocked at the brutality of the fallout of some well known leaders, ones deemed of high reputation. The Lord sees and He is going to reveal some things that have been done in secret. Corrupt practices within the church will be exposed.
We know the Scripture about the wise man building his house upon the Rock, but we have to remember he is wise only because it was built on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This is where the Lord is drawing a line between what is true and what is false. The opinions of man, the teachings of false doctrines, and the holding onto tradition are stumbling blocks to the fullness of Jesus Christ coming into His church.
Deception has come and blinded many of God’s precious ones. He is going to bring the shaking of man made human endeavors and bring His standards of truth, justice and righteousness. Some false religious teachings have to be exposed so the true can come forth. That which is crumbling, built on sand will not be able to stand in the day of God’s judgment. He will pull down those false doctrines and practices built by the hands of man.
Many churches started out being built on the Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ, however the problem arose with the structure – that is what holds everything together. Because traditions and idolatrous practices have crept in, this has made the church impotent. That which was supposed to be a light, a place of refuge and love has slowly eroded to being a club with fun programmes.
The truth is the Lord is coming with a sword to bring a dividing line between what is His church and what is by man’s design.
Matthew 16:18 “And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
The church will be victorious! However, it will only be victorious when it is built on the rock. The tragedy is many well meaning people who love the Lord have subtly been seduced to believing lies that have blinded and deceived.
If God is raising up His apostles and prophets then issues such as tradition and idolatrous practices have to be exposed. This will make them unpopular, however it will bring a separation between the true and the false. As they speak and declare God’s truth you will see the Lord judge and bring a falling down of that which is not built on the Rock. The old must crumble for the new to arise.
Man has put his systems in place and added the Lord’s name to it thinking He endorses what man has put his hand to. It is delusion, and in no way can be called Christianity. Anything with man’s agenda as its core will not stand it cannot stand.
So what does the new look like? It will have the five-fold ministry in position with the apostles and prophets confronting, and setting in place true Biblical foundations, so growth and maturity will come to the saints. The saints will be empowered to go out into the world and be effective and influential to bring change in society. Strongholds, principalities and powers will be confronted by a fearless army of men and women, of all tribes and tongues, coming together in unity to expose darkness and speak and declare God’s light.
This will be the victorious church!

BELOVED SAINTS - pt3
by Belinda Jabore
Beloved Saints,
If you listen to any God appointed apostles, they speak of the mature saints training and equipping the ones that are young in the Lord and maturing them. Then they will specialize in different areas and when they have matured sufficiently (when that time is right) then they will train others also and be able to help in the different areas they are called to. Ephesians 4:11-16
There is enough room for every one, don’t think that you will miss out, just be who you are meant to be in the body. Be a servant until you find out where you fit, it will become clear, don’t give up, be patient, your time will come if you position yourself to be ready. Even if you are working behind the scenes we will still get the same reward as the ones that are seen and up front as we are working as a team to get the job done. In that process you will see where you fit. We must be seen and accounted for and not hide.
We cannot be lone rangers and isolate ourselves. If we move away from the church we are antichrist.
The body of Christ must unite together in right order.
We have enlisted and given our hearts and lives to follow Jesus-Y’shua, not our own agendas. We must die to our own agendas.
Jesus Y’shua is an action person and He led by showing His disciples what to do and how to do it. He stayed with them to the end of His time here on earth. His blood sweat and tears went into them and those of the Way, the Truth, and the Life followed Him. They knew truth and followed the Truth. They had failures but they did not compromise. They did not do it alone, they went in groups and supported each other…. they were in relationship with each other, accountable to each other. They didn’t always agree with each other but they loved each other, laying down their lives for each other.
Unite!

OPEN YOUR EYES
by Glenice Mills
During worship on the 20th June 2015 the Lord spoke to
me. This is what He said:
“Open your eyes – see what is happening! The seasons, the times –
don’t be numb! Don’t go to sleep – wake up – open your eyes – see what I am
doing.
I am doing a new thing, there’s a stirring, a stirring, a rumbling –
things are shaky. Why do you fear? I am shaking the old – foundations are
crumbling.
They have to crumble – have to crumble – so I can build – build on
the new foundations. Many are falling – churches are falling – My plans – so I
can build the new!”
When you write a word under the anointing of worship it can take
time to consider and seek the Lord for understanding. You dare not take this
word and try and put your own understanding on it. There are some statements
the Lord wants to expand on so as I endeavor to do this, it is His word, His
truth, not my opinion or my own understanding.
OPEN YOUR EYES!: When the Lord spoke this to me it was with a firm voice. He wanted
to get my attention! The Lord wants to open our spiritual eyes to things He is
doing at this time. He wants to show us greater understanding, not from the
perspective of what we see happening in the natural – around and about us, but
from His heavenly perspective. He is the higher way – He sees what is now and
what is ahead for us. We must know the seasons and times both for ourselves
individually but also for what is happening in the world around us.
Our eyes are about vision – seeing the way forward. So why is the
Lord instructing us to open our eyes? Clearly we have had them shut whether
that is by personal choice or because it was not time for us to see. It is about His timing - a time to remove the
blinkers off our eyes so we see with fresh vision and greater understanding.
It is easy to become numb and unaware of what is truly going on.
When our eyes are opened we become aware of our environment all that is
happening around and about us. We see things with clarity. We need clarity of
vision like never before. Information is coming at us from all angles and if we
bow to the overload we will lose our way. That is one of the problems of modern
technology. If we hear or see something often enough we will become numb.
Critically the eyes of the five-fold ministry are the prophets. They
are the one’s who see what is to come. Many prophets feel an urgency and a
burden for the body of Christ, for what they are seeing happening at this time.
We know evil is increasing, however, many are seeing where the Word of God is
being weakened to appease man’s flesh, his sin and his wrong choices. Sadly the
world is coming into the church and we are blind to it. Many add Jesus to what
they want to happen in their lives, and follow their man made desires, rather
than what the Lord wants. The truth is there is no easy way – the true walk in
God will be difficult. We will have struggles, we will be different – and so we
should be. We cannot bow to the idolatrous practices out there. We have to come
back to yielding our lives fully to the Lord no matter what the cost.
The Lord wants us to open our eyes to the enemy’s strategies at this
time. There are lots of prophetic words that are encouraging and comforting and
yes we need these words but we don’t see too many words of warning or
correction. Is it because God is not warning or correcting? The God I know
warns but sadly we have become a bit au fait about His prophetic words. The
more challenging words are put in the ‘too hard’ basket. Any words that are
deemed not encouraging or comforting are often cast aside. This is a concern.
For us in the body of Christ we must also be willing to speak and hear words
from the throne room of God that would challenge, and have us come in humility
and repent. This is where the true, mature prophet needs to wake up and open
their eyes to the enemies’ ploys. Now is the time for us to be sharp, not
blunt!
Open your eyes! See what is happening! Let’s get away from a ‘my
narrow world’ thinking and ask the Lord to show us the bigger picture of what
is happening in our cities, our regions, our nation, the nations of the world.
The truth is things aren’t going well. Evil is increasing. The Lord
wants His prophets to speak, to confront the evil that is deceiving many, and
have us bring the ‘difficult words’.
I know this is a first part of what the Lord is saying from the
revelation He gave and the next part will look at what areas are going to be
shaken and what are going to crumble. Some things have to fall so they can be
rebuilt on a firm foundation.
Galatians 5:11-14 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works
of darkness, but rather expose them.
For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by
them in secret.
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for
whatever makes manifest is light.
Therefore He says:
Awake, you who sleep,
Arise from the dead,
And Christ will give you light.

BELOVED SAINTS - pt2
by Belinda Jabore
Beloved Saints,
We must be along side God’s generals – apostles/prophets and sergeant prophets so that when they give the orders of command to go here or go there we will be ready, willing and able to do this. There is a sorting going on. We must be ready in place and in unity together as one.
So what does that look like? It looks like Apostles being apostles, Prophets being prophets, Evangelists being prophetic evangelists, Pastors being prophetic pastors, Teachers being prophetic teachers, Worshipers being prophetic worshipers, Dancers being prophetic dancers, Artists being prophetic artists, Business people being prophetic business people the list goes on whatever you are called to: All together in an environment that gives room to learn sharpening your gifts getting healed as needed to continually pursue this when the Lord reveals things that pop up in us, continually keeping things in the light. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Pressing towards God not away from Him. If you are not running towards Him and His people in His church, how are you going to find out who you are in Christ? We must come in closer no matter how uncomfortable it is or what we are going through or feeling right now. We must be alongside Godly order.
We must be able to be trained and discipled in the church and be equipped in all that we are meant to be. Never give up on this. There will be set backs, there will be disappointments, there will be failures, there will be opposition, trials and testing but we must be determined in our quest. When we are weak, He strengthens us to find out who we are and be who we are truly meant to be uniting as one unit not separate. We must have Godly order of apostle prophet dynamic with the rest of the five fold ministers complementing each other together as one. Appointed, authorized trusted leaders.
God appointed authorized apostles to oversee, they know the way and they make a way for us and sort it all.
CONFUSION – THE ENEMIES TARGET AGAINST THE BODY OF CHRIST IN THESE TIMES
by Glenice Mills
There is so much confusion and muddying of the waters that we, the
body of Christ have lost our way. I am speaking here of the bigger picture of
the body of Christ both here in Australia and internationally. Many are being
subtly lured away from Truth by succumbing to what is appeasing to the opinions
of the world.
Truth is like the compass setting of due north; it is the only way
ahead, the only way forward. The problem arises when we subtly become skewed
slightly off course. Like a compass that moves off due north, you lose your way
often with disastrous consequences. This brings confusion that opens the trap
door for deception. The Lord impressed upon me a trap door with the word
‘deception’ emblazoned upon it. This is what is happening right now. We need
to, like never before, be on the alert so we don’t veer slightly off course and
become deceived.
It is very concerning what is happening among God’s people. There
are many doctrines that are being twisted to appease what our itching ears want
to hear. We are a people looking for the signs and wonders – they are part of
God’s Spiritual gifts and they are good, however they are not the best when we
want the next spiritual high (fix) rather than wanting deeper relationship with
the one who brings the signs and wonders. Spiritual highs do not remain, they
may maintain us to a certain measure, but they will not grow us up. They can be
a life-changing encounter but that does not and will not sustain us in our
relationship with the Lord when difficulties come. This is why many walk away
in their journey in God because it is often founded on emotion rather than
conviction. Spiritual highs can, like all things, become an idol feeding the
what’s in it for me mentality, rather than bringing heart change. We must not
stray from the core of Christianity and what we stand for - that is repentance
– we are sinners needing forgiveness! It is the fine line of balance, not
confusion.
Confusion has come because many have remained in a place of
immaturity. Unfortunately a ‘give me, give me’ thinking and attitude has held
many back, while evil is increasing around and about us.
For example let’s take the issue of same sex marriage that is being
hotly debated at this time. We have on the one hand many in the body of Christ
saying it is okay and we need to love and embrace the people and their
lifestyle. There are even churches for gays run by gays. How does this line up
with the Word of God? On the other hand we have one’s saying God hates them and
their lifestyle. This comes from an unloving and judgmental pride. None of
these ways are right.
The truth is God loves the person, but He hates what they do. We
have to navigate our way forward, holding fast to the Word of God, maintaining
a righteous stand, but also displaying love to a people group who are deceived.
The navigating is the difficult part.
We have to come back to due north – what does the Word of God say,
what is Truth and how do we best express that to the world?
People outside the church are wondering what we truly believe. We
are a laughing stock because there are so many opinions and we can’t be
believed and trusted. This is the confusion that is operating to bring us down,
to deceive many and to have us compromise truth.
This is only one topic of difference. There are a myriad of
doctrinal truths that have been and are still causing confusion – the false grace
message, male/female roles in the church, the five-fold ministry, and
practicing the Sabbath and Jewish feasts to name a few.
Guess who loves to stir the pot to bring division, confusion and
deception? Satan is having a field day, distracting us from the Truth. The worst thing about this is we are
distracted, introspective, and caught up in factions and sects. It can appear
the enemy is winning.
The Good News is God is raising up His true apostles who are
mandated to bring correction, clarity on doctrinal issues, lead and make a
stand for God’s Word, His truth, in this hour when there is so much knowledge
out there. We can search out so many opinions through the internet and on
Facebook that we lose focus, easily becoming caught in teachings of man, and
their revelation, that we forget to seek the One who has and is the Truth.
2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but
according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap
up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth,
and be turned aside to fables.
Let’s be aware of the enemies’ ploy to try and have us compromise
and subtly move away from what is right and true. It is about God’s standards,
His ways and walking in obedience to His requirements.
Stay close to Him, that is our protection in these times.

BELOVED SAINTS - pt1
by Belinda Jabore
Beloved saints,
We must in this season drop everything that could hinder us from the call of God on our life.
Some are idle and some are busy, getting distracted, distracted, distracted and not focused on what God is asking them to do. I see in some places a long way away from where they should be, oblivious as to where they should be, just totally in the wrong place wasting time. Idle because of distractions of every kind.
The church needs to come away from the old religious mindset of the pastoral gifting running the church, not allowing the saints to have opportunity and platforms to sharpen their 5- fold gifts to be trained and equipped in their specialty, not being spectators but fruit producing saints. There is a changing of the Godly order and we must come into 5-fold order with apostles and prophets at the helm together with the rest of the 5- fold. Who are you in God? What has He truly called you too? What are you naturally drawn to? What prophetic words have you had from God? Are you advancing towards it? We must be brave to find out who we are, willing and able to communicate the same, united and uniting in the five fold functioning church.
Ephesians 4: 11-16 - And He himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: that we should be no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head- Christ- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

JOURNAL ENTRY - pt 1
by Jesse-John Jabore
Accessibility – ‘behold I stand at the door and knock’ (Rev 3 : 20).....heart to heart communion will result in a divine transplant.
Abandonment - Psalm 34: 18 ‘I the Lord are near unto them that are of a broken heart; and save such that are of a contrite spirit.’
Morning Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I am restricted or ‘in’ time but you are 'outside’ it – I
say Morning anyway.
You say....we say....as long as we are communicating – we understand you like no other.
That’s the thing – it’s this knowing that you know that transcends speech.
Truth, yet imagine a baby trying to speak. It’s important those first words are heard and so we’re all ears. Your words to us are always heard and understood.
Because of your omniscience we can speak directly – anyplace, anytime. Can you help me describe this?
I am the Holy Spirit. You are learning the language of the Spirit. I rule and overrule the spiritual domain. In Me you have dominion on this earth over fallen forces. The spiritual realm over earth suffers violence. When you humble yourself and acknowledge the loving Father and magnificent Son my power is unleashed. I am the annointing of the Annointed One – the burden remover and yoke destroyer. So I have power over time and distance and this equals omniscience.
My eyes adored you.....though I never laid a hand on you – my eyes adored you!

OH lord, that I would only have eyes for YOU and things
ordained of you. I choose this day like Job to make covenant with my eyes so
that what I look upon would be pleasing to you.
My eyes search to and fro upon the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are blameless and are FULLY committed to Me (2 Chronicles 16 v 9)
Then I say like David did before me “unite my heart to fear your name”. What’s the key to allowing you to unite my heart?
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT.....ACCESSABILITY.....ABANDONMENT
Acknowledge –in this case the recognisation of a need. A genuine sober accessment of the state of your heart (Jeremiah 17 v 9).....’ the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked (twisted and off-track) : who can know it?

WORDS
by Glenice Mills
Words! So many words!
Have you ever wondered what Father God hears with the billions of
conversations taking place through out the world?
Just think: He knows what we will say even before we say it.
It is mind boggling to think. Yet we will be judged for the words we
speak. That is very sobering.
Consider all the words you have spoken today. How many of them have
been affirming? How many are prattle, of no substance and use to anyone?
Maybe your words have spoken life to someone, bringing clarity to a
situation, or wisdom that has brought resolution to a problem.
Perhaps your words have created emotional damage to someone and
caused your reputation to be tarnished?
The truth is you can’t take words back once they are spoken. They
have gone out there. We have all been guilty of speaking unwisely. We have all
hurt someone by our words. However we can stop, and become more aware of the
words we do speak. Scripture tells us to be slow to speak.
There are a number of problems that arise with words.
They can be taken out of context – This is particularly dangerous
when there is an agenda to try and twist what is spoken by taking one sentence
and elaborating on that without considering the complete context. We see this
happening all the time when politicians say something. The media then makes it
say something it is not.
One-liners can be throwaway lines but they are often scathing,
mocking, and appear smart, but are in fact stupid and foolish. They can do a
lot of damage.
We hear this a lot, and we then joke about ‘foot in mouth disease’.
It is not a laughing matter.
Opinions – there are so many opinions out there, many not founded on
fact but rather hearsay. How much misunderstanding has occurred because of
someone’s strong opinions? These
opinions have swayed and impacted many people.
How often do we hear the loud minority speaking as though they are
representing the silent majority? We are seeing this at the moment with the
debate on same sex marriage. If we hear something being said for long enough we
then begin to subtly embrace it as truth. That is how compromise sneaks in.
Are you one who has lots to say? You find it difficult to restrain
yourself from passing an opinion or thought. You just can’t seem to stop
speaking. It is often because of anxiety, because you feel uncomfortable in a
situation.
Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he
who restrains his lips is wise.
Proverbs 17:27,28 He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man
of understanding is of a calm spirit.
Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; when he shuts
his lips, he is considered perceptive.
Perhaps we all need to learn to be wiser with our words, rather than
being foolish. It is not an easy thing to do.
It is the ‘how’ we deliver words which is often the problem. If our
tone is argumentative, angry, forceful or harsh no matter what we say will be
misinterpreted leading to great misunderstanding. Maybe we come across as
patronizing, making people feel put down, and ‘small’.
Matthew 12:34 For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaks.
Bad attitudes are expressed in our words. These bad attitudes come
from our heart issues. It is always good to reflect on what we say and
particularly the attitude as we say something. We know our hearts are wicked
and are a true reflection of our sinful nature. Be quick to repent of our heart
issues. The Lord can change hearts when we repent and choose to speak and
behave in a Godly way.
Let’s be aware that we don’t speak lies. Lies are a cover up for
fear and shame and before we know it we have dug a hole for ourselves that can
take some undoing.
Let’s use our words to speak truth instead of lies, words of honour
rather than dishonor, respect instead of disrespect.
God is requiring a higher standard of us. The world is watching and
one of the most obvious ways we can display righteousness is by the way we
speak. Use our words to build one another up, rather than tearing down, don’t
come in agreement with gossip by using words in judgment of one another.
Matthew 12:35-37 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart
brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth
evil things.
But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will
give account of it in the day of judgment.
For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will
be condemned.
Words are powerful! Watch what you speak!
AN OPPORTUNE TIME
by Glenice Mills
The Lord has been speaking to me about an opportune time. I looked
up the word opportune in Scripture and saw whenever this word was used it was
in relation to the enemy.
Luke 4:13 Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed
from Him until an opportune time.
We know we have an enemy who is prowling around waiting to tempt us
at a time when we are vulnerable. It always happens when our guard is down,
when we least expect it.
I find it interesting that the word opportune is also part of the
word opportunity.
Opportune means well timed. We all have choices and sometimes they
can be split second decisions that can have positive benefits or negative
consequences.
The opportune moment is often a test to see what we will do.
We are all on a knife-edge of walking in obedience or walking into
the trap of disobedience.
In 1 Kings chapter 13 we read about the man of God, a prophet, who
delivered an accurate prophetic word to King Jeroboam. However we also see how
very shortly after bringing the word, he allowed himself to be seduced and
enticed by an old prophet. This resulted in him losing his life.
There is much we can learn from this man of God’s life and also the
old prophet.
This is a cautionary example of a man of God who got some things so
right but in the end got it so wrong.
We have to be on the alert particularly in this hour as there are
many things that are seductive and enticing, particularly to our flesh, that
have the potential to derail us. We live in an age where evil is increasing,
and the main access for him is by taking us off track with something that makes
us feel comfortable, and has us settle. Once we settle this stops the move of
the Holy Spirit, it blocks and holds us in to what appears as a safe place. We
become complacent and before we know it we are being led down a wrong track.
Also, let’s be careful we don’t rush ahead of God. He has His
perfect timing. Many are on the cusp of break through; we know it is very near.
However, this is the most critical time.
It is crucial in this hour we are accountable to Godly leadership. It
is our protection. They see things we don’t. God never intended us to be an
island, in isolation. He is about relationships.
Opportunity means chance or opening offered by circumstance.
Many divine opportunities are opening up to those who have been
obedient. There is a networking of relationships that are pivotal in this hour
as we all come with our different gifts and abilities to work together to do
the work God has assigned for us. It is an opportune time for this to happen;
however we need to be on guard that we are wise with whom we are to share what
with. The enemy comes at an opportune time to try to abort the plans of God. We
have to be careful we are not tempted by an opportunity that seems right.
Opportune and opportunity are about chance – the chance for good to
come or for evil to try and have its way.
Let’s be on guard for what is the opportunity and what is an
opportune time for the enemy to come and tempt us in our weakness.

ENTRENCHED JEALOUSY
by Glenice Mills
One of the biggest downfalls as women is our entrenched jealousy.
Sadly I have observed women older in years harden their hearts against fellow
women who appear to be getting ahead. The tragedy of this is it is against God
and His precious daughters. So how does this happen?
As young children we are raised in competitive environments where we
try and find our place among our friends. Already some children show leadership
qualities and because they stand out, they are the obvious and subtle objects
of competitive jealousy. Child leaders alike are jealous of one another, as are
their followers. This on flows into teenage years where the jealousy is more
blatant. There is a competitive push to belong to the ‘it’ crowd and when you
are cast out jealousies root takes deeper ground. By the time we reach
adulthood and particularly parenthood this stronghold has entrenched itself in
and through our lives. Women are often seen at their worst as parents. It
becomes all about the children – who are brightest, sporty, musical, best
looking and myriad other ways we judge. Jealousy that already has a hold is now
becoming more bitter and resentful. This develops into a deep hatred that flows
over the children. This continues the iniquity of jealousy down through the
generations. So by the time women reach older years jealousy is like a rotting
crusty hard shell.
Jealousy that is already ugly is uglier in an older woman. I am
particularly centred on women because it is what the Lord is highlighting to me
at this time.
We have a problem because we should show a higher way, a Godly
example for those who are watching us. Women, we are our own worst enemy.
Jealousy with its roots of judgment, comparisons, resentment, bitterness and
resulting hatred causes divisions, competitiveness, backbiting and betrayal.
It is interesting that as I have waited on the Lord and He has been
speaking to me that He would use the word ‘entrenched’. The dictionary meaning
of entrench is to establish firmly in position, and surround as fortification. In
other words jealousy takes a position in our soul area and we then fortify it
as a protective mechanism. Anything that is fortified appears to stop attack
however it is a false strength that needs to come down so we can let others in.
At its core are insecurity and a fear of missing out.
Why am I writing this at this time? The Lord has been alerting me to
entrenched jealousy because it is actually bringing bondage on both the
perpetrator and the victim of the jealousy. It is a cause of strife among women
in the body of Christ and does nothing to build up or encourage one another. If
we are to be examples to the younger we need to be careful of our words and
actions.
I am particularly alerted at this time with the mature in years
because it is and will have the potential to actually hold us, and keep us in
the old. We will resist the new move of God, and worse still become a stumbling
block to the young ones who are being raised in this hour.
Romans 14:12,13
So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.
Therefore let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve
this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.
To resolve is to make up one’s mind, to decide firmly with a firm
mental decision or intention. This is a choice – to purposefully hold one’s
back or choose to want the best for them.
The truth is God is raising a new generation of young ones whose
growth is exponential compared with many of us who have battled for decades. We
dare not begrudge the younger from a place of entrenched jealousy because this
is displeasing to God. This word is not meant to be critical but we have to be
very careful we don’t put bondage on the younger ones because they ‘appear’ to
have it easier than we had. They will have different battles to face and the
Lord has uniquely forged some things in their lives that will be required for
their walk in the coming times.
However there is good news! We don’t have to bow to jealousy. We can
also choose to stop it continuing down through the generations. Repentance is
the key. Acknowledging our behaviours, attitudes, and the words we speak, stop
jealousy becoming entrenched in our lives. We need to examine the insecurities
and the ground where this became a stronghold.
Older women are to train up the younger. We are charged with this
responsibility and our Godly behavior and example are powerful influencers.
God is requiring a higher standard from us more mature ones. Let’s
come in unity, encouragement and most importantly love. Love conquers all!
