Now it Begins

by Melissa Young

I saw a vast crystal clear lake. So vast that in every direction I could not see the shore. The water so blue almost silver. And although it was so clear, I could not see the bottom. The water was moving only ever so slightly. I could see the sky was a brilliant blue. Pure blue. The bluest sky I have ever seen. There were no clouds. There was no sun, yet everything was so bright and clear.

Then I saw this huge hand come down through the sky and plunge with an open palm powerfully into the water. There was a huge clap as the hand hit the water. There was a ripple that shot out across the sky - it went so quick - I knew it would go forever. The water was violently displaced and again a huge ripple shot out across the water, I knew it would go forever. Under the water huge bubbles escaped through the fingers of the hand - these rose and seemed to explode as they hit the surface - more ripples.

Now the sky and the lake was a moving, almost living, thing - rippling out with purpose and knowing. I heard in my spirit “Now it begins”. As I watched, the sky and the water continued to ripple but the intensity grew instead of fading, ’till the ripples were more like waves that didn’t crash.

I was reminded of the scripture that talks about the angel stirring the waters in the healing pool.
