I see Melbourne coming into a Breakthrough Year. This will be marked with heavy rainfall. I see the River of God rising in and around the city of Melbourne, breaking down the walls and the barriers that have restricted any move of the Holy Spirit.
The time is NOW to jump into the river of what God is doing and about to do; the wind of God’s Spirit will be so powerful it will be hard not to notice the effects of this wind.
“And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as a mighty rushing wind and it filled the whole house where they were all sitting.” Acts 2:2
I also see this will be marked by powerful winds in and around the Melbourne area. I see tradition as a stronghold over Melbourne bowing to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and with tradition also false religions will bow and begin to be exposed for what they truly are.
I see a strong unity forming in the Body of Christ for the future of Melbourne. The leaders of the Body of Christ will begin to have the same vision for this great city, leaders from all denominations and non-denominations. This is where the Lord will command his blessing. Psalm 133: 1-3
I see Melbourne will draw attention from other states and from around the world for what God is about to do. I see many being healed and delivered and coming to the Knowledge of Jesus as Lord.
This is an exciting year for Melbourne, however there will be those who oppose what God is doing and call it a false move of God, but the fruit will speak for itself. Jesus said signs and wonders will follow wherever the Gospel is being preached. I believe this will be a sign of the breakthrough coming to Melbourne, because the people will not follow the signs and wonders but the signs and wonders will follow them.
It is time for the Body of Christ to rise and move in their calling and start walking and acting as true sons and daughters of God, walking in the authority given to us at the great commission.
The enemy will attempt to counteract any breakout of God’s Spirit in Melbourne with increased crime, even causing fear to some of the people of Melbourne through various methods. Please pray for the protection of Melbourne and its city leaders for wisdom as to how to deal with any threats from extremists.
Melbourne is a city which can have four seasons in one day. I see many quick seasons of breakthrough coming to Melbourne.
