EXPECTATIONS

by Jodi Hamilton

Expectations are the breeding grounds for disappointment. They are false burdens that keep us in bondage and expose us to offence. Expectations provoke us to become easily let down or hurt as they change our perspective of reality causing us to be 'set up' for disappointment. We cannot predict or forecast another persons behaviour. If we purpose in our hearts to remove all expectations from those around us, our focus will soon shift to seeing the good as we are no longer 'fixated' on how they have let us down.

It is true that we must always always hope and believe the best of all people. To do this effectively we must avoid boxing them in to our unrealistic or idealistic views. How often do we get all stressed out when somebody hurts or offends us? How often does it instantly become all about us? 1 Peter 4:12 says, 'Beloved, think it not strange the fiery trial that is to try you as though some strange thing happened to you'. How often do we get all worked up when we are treated unfairly? If we don't expect anything we will be prepared for everything! We must learn to walk in total acceptance and unconditional love in order to give our 'shock absorbers' a rest. When all expectation is removed we start to see and accept the person for where they really are as opposed to where we would like them to be. This new perspective opens the door enabling us to fully embrace our 'trials' with a Christ like perspective as we rise above our emotions. Only then are we able to clearly hear and follow the Holy Spirits leading to WALK through our circumstances.

WOMEN: WHAT'S WITH ALL THE 'FLUFF & BUBBLE'?

by Glenice Mills

Hey women it’s time to grow up!!! Stop ‘fluffing’ around! Stop playing childish games, for example, in Christian meetings, making stupid noises thinking it is so ‘spiritual’, and behaving like some pretty little girl twirling around demanding and getting attention. Being ‘sickly sweet’ and insipid is futile. You use your ‘feminine wiles’ to get what you want, manipulating, using words and emotions to try and win over people, thinking it is the right way to act and behave to get noticed. Stop being ‘airy fairy’ spiritual lightweights! Come on we are better than this! Where’s your substance? Surely the Lord has deposited a deep well of His Spirit in you? I know He has, so come on get over yourself, and draw from the well of life.

GROW UP! GROW UP! GROW UP!

Come on women, snap out of it, there is a job to be done! Evil is increasing!  We dare not stay in our immaturity, but rather open our eyes and see what is going on around and about us. We are in a battle – a battle for our loved ones, for the body of Christ that is really in serious strife, and for our nation and the nations.

How long are you going to keep wanting prophetic words, chasing after the latest preacher wanting the next ‘high’, and seeking out whoever will speak to you what you want your itching ears to hear? Come on you are better than that? Surely you have enough of a relationship with the Lord to be able to receive all you need from Him? He is requiring much more from you right now.

These aren’t just words on a page. This is God’s prophetic word and His heart to us right now!

The Lord reminded me of a dream He gave to me a couple of years ago. This is one part of the dream that I feel to share.

‘There was a group of about 20 women sitting in a circle making daisy chains. They had flimsy dresses on, with wreaths in their hair. They then stood up, remaining in their circle, held hands, and then moved in and out singing a song (I know it was a children’s song).

I was calling out to them: “Come on there is work to be done”. They did not hear me. They were oblivious to my voice, to my desperate cry. ‘

So what is the Lord saying in this dream?

The women were varying in age, however they were immature in their character and behavior, caught up playing childish games. They were distracted, in their own selfish world. The holding of hands was symbolic of a unity, however it was a false unity. It was a unity of like-minded women caught up in their games.

Come on we women need to watch for any false pretence, a false spirit so we don’t become sideswiped and lose our way. God is looking for authenticity – being the true and full expression of how He made us to be.

So get over yourself, look at the big picture – what the Lord is looking for in His women today, and be proactive in walking in your true call and destiny. Time is short. We dare not bow to the enemies’ schemes but rather rise up and be and do all He requires at this time. It is a time to influence, to speak, to grow up and to come away from immaturity.

This word is a rallying cry – let’s gather together in unity – unity of the Holy Spirit, and rise up, take our God given position in the Spirit, to influence our nation/s.

Hebrews 12:1,2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Come on this word is:

A RALLYING CRY! A RALLYING CRY! A RALLYING CRY!

ARISE MY ANZAC ARMY

by Brett Hamilton

There’s a shift coming. The Church worldwide stands on the brink of coming into power, precision and privilege in the Spirit like never before. The end time army of the Lord is about to arise! As Australians, we are poised to lead in this. The Anzac spirit that we are known for around the world is set to make its mark. The love for our brothers and sisters, and the willingness to lay down our lives for each other, is going to be a leading light in the end times. It is time that we love each other AS HE LOVED US. Jesus said of His church that ‘By this all men will know you are my disciples, if you have love for one another’ and that ‘Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends’. Is this not the Anzac spirit? This is the call of the Australian, of every Australian. We, the Australian church, will lead by example and show those around us, those around the world, the true Godly intention of the Anzac spirit. The nations will look to us to impart, teach, train, and equip them in this. This is our destiny. We MUST get the revelation of who God is in us and who we are in God.

This is the day, this is the hour – ARISE Church of Australia! Put on the Anzac spirit that God ordained for us and come into your destiny!

ABDICATING OUR CALL

by Glenice Mills

We as Christians are truly blessed. We are the Lord’s royal priesthood, a people belonging to Him.

Stop and think about this: we are ROYALTY. What is royalty? It is a position of high standing, of authority, a set apart people, worthy of honour. We are children of the King with a divine royal decree upon our individual lives – a command to go and do what He has called us to.

We have a responsibility to do ALL we can to fulfill ALL God requires. When we don’t, we can ‘abdicate’ the divine position given to us, and give up the precious gifts we have been given.

To abdicate means a failure to fulfill a responsibility or duty. It is relinquishing a throne, a right, and a power.

In recent British history we saw where a king abdicated, changing the course of history. When this happened it meant a new person was needed to fill the position. It was not the one ordained to do it, but rather the next one in a hierarchal position was put in place. As a result a whole new lineage began.

It is no different for us as Christians. It happens to us spiritually. We can abdicate our calls. This will result in someone else taking the position, as the Lord still has to get the job done. I have often heard someone say that they weren’t the first to do a particular call in God, that He had given it to someone else, but they had chosen not to walk in it.

So, I wonder how many of us even now are or have abdicated our call for whatever reason? How does the Lord feel about this? How can we make sure we don’t lose our way and abdicate what was the Lord’s plan for our lives?

I know there are one’s at this time who have chosen to walk away from God’s plan for their lives. This grieves God’s heart. I have felt His grief as He has given opportunity to many but they have succumbed to fears, and/or self-will. The truth is: our life is not our own, we are bought for a price – the shed blood of Jesus Christ for our sins.

Our King has bestowed upon us a most precious gift – our FREE WILL. Sadly this is a gift that we can take for granted. God has a plan for our lives however He never crosses our free will. He brings many opportunities across our path to steer us in the right direction.  He never coerces or places demands on us. That’s why the enemy loves to bring control – whether that is through a family member/s, the church, in the work place or through some other wrong authority in our lives.

James 4:17
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

This is a powerful Scripture. We can interpret this to mean when we knowingly sin we are answerable. However if we take it a bit deeper we could also say, if we, by our free will decide we will not walk in what we know we should then we are in sin. As we know there is always a consequence to sin. It does bring death – death to dreams, our vision, and our soul – our minds, will and emotions.

1 Timothy 1:19
having faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck

The reality is: we can hide in our games, thinking we can get away with compromise, justifying our actions, and putting things off, however our conscience will become seared, opening the door to deception. We deceive ourselves thinking it won’t matter, that it will sort itself out, or it will go away.
Who do we think we are? God is not mocked!

The big question is: what do you value most? Walking in God’s perfect will for your life or choosing what is often an easier way, bringing with it a sense of false peace and security?

Remember: there is always a cost in following the Lord. Be careful you don’t abdicate His divine position by choosing what appears an easier way.

Proverbs 14:12
There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

WHO HAS THE WORD OF THE LORD?

by Glenice Mills

“Who has the word of the Lord?” There is a desperate cry from many in the body of Christ who are searching for God’s word at this time. We are in a defining epoch time that is strategic for what lies ahead in the next season for many Christians, the body of Christ, and for nations.

The Lord has had me quiet the past couple of months. I have been quietly observing what is happening in the prophetic and what I see is very concerning.

The truth is: it is very easy to succumb to pressures from people who say to you “what is the Lord saying.” There are so many words out there, some saying one thing, others saying something else.  Confusion is ruling over many. As we know God is not the author of confusion, satan is.

For example we just need to listen to prophetic words about America and who is going to be the new Republican nominee. Some are saying Donald Trump is going to win, others have said Marco Rubio, and some say Ted Cruz. All the prophetic voices are saying they heard from the Lord. Each is adamant they have heard correctly. However some will prove to be correct and others will be incorrect. So what happens to the one’s who get it wrong? Will they willingly put up their hands and say I got it wrong. Probably not. Will they take some level of responsibility and accountability for their inaccuracy? Probably not.

It is easy to speak what we think is right when we want something to go a particular way. It comes from our will, from self, rather than from the Lord. It is our soul realm that is speaking, rather than by the Holy Spirit. It is an easy trap for prophets to fall into. If we want something bad enough we will ‘conjure’ up words to make them fit our desires. Conjure is witchcraft and it is rife in the body of Christ right now.

Also some speak from a wrong motivation. Just like with the girl who followed the apostle Paul speaking words that sounded right but were from a wrong spirit - in this case a demonic spirit.

Acts 16:17,18 this girl followed Paul and us, and cried out saying, “These men are the servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us the way of salvation.”
And this she did for many days. But Paul, greatly annoyed, turned and said to the spirit, “I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.” And he came out that very hour.

Discernment is needed like never before. Sadly this is one gift that is lacking in the body of Christ. We need one’s like Apostle Paul to speak up and confront the spirit – the spirit of divination.

There are so many opinions, ‘words of the Lord’, and demanding wants from many Christians. It is opening the door for deception. Who are we to place demands on God? It is born out of a sense of self-entitlement – if I can’t have it then no one else can. It is about our motivations – whether we pray from a place of faith, coming to a Holy God, and seeking Him for what He would want for us, or wanting something because we think we should have it. There is a big difference.

Another area of great concern is the competition among the prophets for ‘who’s got the word of the Lord?’ There is rampant competition out there birthed out of selfish ambition. We have a jostling for position, for who is the number one trusted prophet. Often they can be the one’s who speak words that tickle the ears of those who want to hear the good things. This is dangerous ground for a prophet, it is where compromise sneaks in, watering down a prophetic word so as not to offend. Now more than ever we have to be aware we don’t bow to political correction because it makes the people hearing the word feel good. However it is a feel good in the moment, rather than a sustaining word.

A word from the Holy Spirit, that impacts a person, bringing repentance, leads to greater truth and understanding with new life coming. A ‘feel good in the moment word’ keeps the body of Christ immature. There is a higher standard and greater maturity required of God’s people in this hour. We cannot stay babies on the milk; we must grow up and grow into Him in a greater measure.

There is a frightening downward spiral when selfish ambition takes root in a prophet. It opens the door for a spirit of delusion to come; bringing spiritual blindness that ultimately deceives. It is pride birthed in self – every idol of self.

One of the most insidious is self-promotion. With Facebook, websites and other forms of social media there is a platform for the prophets to speak. This is great, as the words get out into the cyber realm speaking to many in the nations. However the problem arises when we have a competitive jostling of whose got the loudest voice, who has the most followers, who is the ‘in’ person at a given time.

It is a powerful privilege and honour to be a spokesperson for the Lord, to be His prophet. We should not adulterate ourselves in order to appease. There is a lot of spiritual adultery – selling ourselves for gain, whether that be financial, notoriety, or promotion, it must not and cannot be in a prophet.

There is a higher standard required for the prophets and the prophetic. Let’s watch out for the traps that would derail us, that would bring the name of Jesus Christ into disrepute.

TO THOSE WHO HAVE EARS

by Patricia Usiobaifo

I have never really understood why we seek advice from leadership or those in authority over us if we have no intention of heeding that advice. I see this time and time again both in the church and the work place when we give someone permission to speak into our lives and situations and yet then either fail to implement or act on the advice given or indeed we do the opposite to what has been suggested or asked of us. In the church we seek out wisdom from a trusted source often because we are not hearing for ourselves what God is saying to us concerning a specific situation or concerning a decision we need to make. Surely we are not seeking an opinion from that person, or even their earthly wisdom, surely we are seeking to hear from them a God perspective since they have the Spirit of God residing within them and they are the Godly authority placed over us for our covering and protection. Is that not why we ask that person to begin with, because we trust Christ in them? So why then would we seek out an Apostle for their advice if we have no intention of following that advice? It is not only a waste of their precious time but it is also incredibly disrespectful.

Staying stuck in your stuff because you haven’t heard from God concerning your situation is simply an excuse, it is either so you can keep doing what you are doing, it is rebellion or it is fear. Either way God has spoken to you loud and clear regarding His heart for your situation …….you may not have heard the audible voice of God or had it written in the sky  but you have heard clearly through His chosen servant and mouthpiece. Who better to ask than someone who will stand before God and give an account for how they were Christ to you while you were in their care?

Just as loving parents want to save their children from hurt and pain, from repeating the same mistakes they have made in their lives, so an Apostle will advise you  to save you falling into snares and traps set for you. They speak from the heart of God and from their countless experiences.
Do yourself a favour, if you don’t intend to follow instruction then don’t ask. Remember once you have asked you are then without excuse. Shalom.

DESIRE & DENIAL

by Patricia Usiobaifo

The human spirit is a powerful force; it compels us to rise above the most devastating of circumstances, to hope throughout the darkest of times and to survive against the greatest odds. There is an innate quality in many of us that causes us to rebel against every restriction we have placed on us; that seeks to prove people wrong when they tell you that we are not capable of something. This drive, this desire to prove others wrong, can be an asset and a strength, but it can also be a weakness and to our detriment. It is at its best a powerful motivator, however, it is also, at its worst simply rebellion.

I have often pondered how the enemy uses our strengths against us in the most basic and subtle ways.
For many of us, when we are told we cannot or should not have something, we immediately filter that through our thought processes as being denied something which is rightfully ours to have. We do not immediately reason as to why we shouldn’t have that particular thing, that it is potentially harmful to us, to our health, our relationships or will lead to future complications, or negatively impact those around us. We seem to magnify instead the fact that we have been told “we shouldn’t”, “we can’t”, that we must deny ourselves that thing, that experience. As we focus on denying our senses, our desires, we magnify that denial and in turn our desire for it.

Take for example food.

If we were given a bottle of liquid or a bowl of substance that was clearly labelled as poison, we would not readily consume it. We would rightly refuse it because our natural thought process would tell us that it would lead to death. We would consider it insanity to readily consume that poison. However, every day of our lives, a huge number of us consume substances and liquids which we know bring death and not life to our bodies, whether it is in the form of junk food, alcohol, illicit substances, highly processed foods etc. We are bombarded with medical and scientific evidence that warns us that these things are not good for our health and wellbeing. That in many cases, the continued consumption of these products, is a direct link to sickness and disease and yet we still continue to consume them.

Often our continued consumption is because we do not see why we should have to deny ourselves that pleasure, that experience, or we struggle with the temptation, justifying our actions by lying to ourselves that just a little will not do us any harm, and yet the truth is, that the only thing we are truly denying ourselves is LIFE.

Let’s begin at least to be honest with ourselves and see things, label things, for what they truly are; if it brings life it is of God and is designed and created to be enjoyed, if it does not impart life it can only impart death, and was never intended for us to partake of.

MAKE SPACE

by Patricia Usiobaifo

God has impressed upon me the need to create “space” (and time) in my life, for my husband who is soon to join me here in Australia.

We have been friends for over 6 years now, and married for almost seven months, however we have only spent 2 short weeks together(in the same nation) since becoming husband and wife.
Creating a physical space for him in my world will be by far the easier aspect of this entire “space” concept. Wardrobe space, drawer space, bathroom space, space for all his “stuff” may be slightly challenging for me to relinquish, but in all honesty it will be of no significance compared with creating a ‘Space “in my life for this precious man.

In order to even receive your partner you must first make space in your heart, to accommodate their love for you and indeed your love for them. God enlarges your heart, stretching it at times to what feels like breaking point, but through that stretching and enlarging your heart is also strengthened. Just as most things in God are a paradox: you find yourself feeling so incredibly vulnerable and yet it is in that overwhelming vulnerability that you find strength. Our hearts can be full of pride, offence, grief, disillusionment, disappointment, hurt etc. layer upon layer of self-protection and emotional debris that we are not even aware of. Residue of past relationships and hurts can remain as a subtle yet insidious film through which we perceive reality. We are wise to seek counselling and healing from our past, it is imperative; however, I have also come to understand that the true degree of our deliverance can rarely be tested and measured outside of intimate relationship.
God (in His kindness) magnifies every flaw in our thinking, attitudes and beliefs when we enter into covenant relationship. He highlights every area of un-wholeness in order that we can continually be adjusted and refined, dismantled and restored.

Like any solid building project this takes time, planning and precision; a joint vision, as well as patience, tolerance and sacrifice. It is a labour of love.

It is not enough to simply accommodate a partner or integrate them into your family, social circles, church or ministry etc. you must rather create a “space “where they can find their true place; a safe, secure space (and time) in which God can slowly and painstakingly lay the foundations for your marriage /union in Him; a foundation that will be sure and solid, designed specifically for the scaffolding and building which is to  take place as you both map your future together in God.

STAY TRUE

by Patricia Usiobaifo

I was speaking recently with one of the most important people in my life and during the course of our conversation they asked me to make them a promise. After listening to their request I had to tell them that I could not make the promise they so desperately desired. I understand their need and their situation, and there was nothing wrong with their request, however, I had made a promise before God which was in opposition to what they had asked. I knew my friend was so very disappointed and that they were feeling hurt, maybe even slightly rejected. My only recourse was to explain that I had made a promise to God and ask them to consider, if I have given my word whether to God or man and I then broke that word, how could I ever be trusted again? How could I be viewed as a person of integrity? How could they as a friend trust my given word knowing that I had compromised myself for their sake? Our conversation ended with my friend having nothing further to say, their disappointment and disapproval evident in their silence. Their friendship is incredibly important to me and I knew that my response to them had put that relationship at risk; however, I felt I had no choice, how could I break a promise made before God? Some 48 hours later, my friend called and apologised to me for their response. They said that as they meditated on what I had said, it had pierced their heart like an arrow and that they knew that honouring my word was a huge part of who I am, and again that they were truly sorry. I am so incredibly grateful to God for the outcome; however, I needed to be prepared to risk the friendship for my convictions. God in His mercy sent His Holy Spirit to whisper into their heart and for that I am so very grateful and I know our friendship is stronger than ever because of it. Had I give in to their needs in order to protect our friendship I would have lost respect for myself and  also eventually their respect as well, and eventually our relationship would have unravelled . We will always be to some extent misunderstood, only God can possibly fully understand us and know the true motives of our heart, don’t be tempted to go against your own beliefs and convictions to please another, despite how much you love them, eventually it will lead to loss, if not of their love and friendship then of your own self-respect. Shalom.

BECOMING ONE

by Patricia Usiobaifo

As I wait for my husband to join me in Australia and I prepare all the practical things for his arrival, God has impressed upon me some truths to consider…….

All too often, we meet people and as it becomes clear that they wish to share our life journey, or enter into covenant relationship, we can find ourselves saying things like “this is who I am, this is my life, these are my beliefs, my commitments, my responsibilities, my faults, my strengths etc., and basically what you see is what you get …..take it or leave it …..that’s just how it is.” But the truth is we cannot become one with another individual and still remain the same. Two individuals can share a space, co-habitat so to speak but they are not a couple, they are not one flesh. In order to become one flesh we must make “space “for another to “be” in our lives. We must allow God to unravel some of the fabric of our existence and weave the two fabrics together to produce something that is greater than the two original individual tapestries of life. We must allow God to lay and strengthen the foundation of our marriage/union/relationship. When people become a “couple” they are no longer independent of each other. Each individual’s actions and movement affects the other. If you are “coupled” you are joined ( just as a train carriage is coupled to an engine ) so your actions will either cause momentum and ease as you move together in the same direction or it will cause friction and stress/tension as you  strain and pull in opposite directions. Either way you cannot move/grow/fully function without it impacting on the person you are coupled with.

If we are entering into relationship we cannot expect people to “fit in” with our lives, rather we must provide a secure safe place in which both individuals can find their place as God reduces them to their most vulnerable state in order to meld them together into something new. We must be intentional in this, continually surrendering to God our fears, independence, pride, intolerances, defensiveness, insecurities, self-protection, selfishness, etc. We must also allow God to be who He says He is, and allow Him to relate to us in His fullness. Allow Him to be to us, our defender, protector, strength, refuge, comforter; strong tower etc. in order that our needs can be met without placing unrealistic expectations on each other.

Making “space” for another person in our lives can be complex and challenging. We give that person access to areas that we have consistently kept private from most people; access to our thoughts, emotions, dreams, desires, finances, bodies and territories. Courage to be truly vulnerable is needed and grace, patience and a forgiving heart essential as you find your new “rhythm” together.
God Himself is the ultimate Creator; marriage is God’s plan, a Godly concept and so it stands to reason that we cannot and should not consider our partners as additions to our lives but rather that we should create a “space” and time in which God can truly unite two individuals as one.

EXPECTATIONS

by Glenice Mills

As we begin a new year we all come expectant that God will move and new doors of opportunity will open up. Expectations are great so long as we are expectant in the things God has promised us. The problem arises when we want things that we think God wants for us. Sometimes our expectations can seem noble and we try and make things fit, hoping that God will endorse it. However, I am so aware that as time marches on, as we get older, we have less time to focus on what we think we want. Now we need to be more concerned with doing only what God wants.

I know many in the body of Christ are disappointed that certain things haven’t happened the way they thought, or what they thought would happen hasn’t happened at all. Sometimes the complete opposite happens from what you thought. This is where our expectations have gone awry. Somehow in our journey with God we have slightly deviated off course. It can seem that the time has been wasted, or that what we thought would happen, will not happen now.

The Dictionary meaning of expectation: it believes that something is going to happen or believing that something should be a certain way. Always accompanying expectations is an eager anticipation. There is an excitement in our spirits - a deep felt joy.

In times past it was often said when a woman was pregnant she was expecting. Expectations are like the baby we carry, waiting for the appointed time of their delivery. You know it has to happen; there is no turning back, no matter what the baby will be delivered. So it is with those things we hope for in God, the dreams, and visions that have been sown deep on the inside of us, often many years earlier.

We have expectations for our call, our ministries. Often attached to the expectations are our mental pictures. Our minds work overtime in anticipation for what is coming. We can work out ways for things to happen quickly, maybe pushing doors open that the Lord never wanted for us. It happens subtly but before you know it we have made things happen in our own strength.

The truth is: we can make things happen. It doesn’t mean God is in it. It may appear to be so, however, over time there is no fruit, or what was meant to be a very powerful ministry has faded away. Let’s think about it: how many ministries have come and gone, often leaving devastated people as a result? Was God ever in it in the first place? How many people are disillusioned because what they thought would happen hasn’t happened? Sadly many have even walked away from God because of wrong expectations. God is not a ‘sugar daddy’. Often prophetic words have been misinterpreted, taken out of context, or manipulated to make it fit a desire that might not even be what God wants. Unfortunately this happens all too often.

Perhaps one of the biggest problems with expectations is the timing. At the APPOINTED TIME – this is a crucial key to having our expectations met.
The appointed time – exactly on time, not a moment too late or a moment too soon. It is the Kairos time. It is God’s perfect timing! Everything is in place. We are prepared, other people are ready, and the influence and effectiveness will result in incredible change.

Habakkuk 2:3
For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

One of the biggest traps we can fall into is striving. This often occurs when the enemy is pushing and pushing us even when we know deep down we should not be doing something. Striving is often birthed out of rejection – doing something to receive acceptance and approval. If we are driven in our character, it can easy make us do something, not necessarily for God, but because it gives us a ‘false high’ with the adrenaline rush of having to do something. Striving will block and stop us coming into an appointed time. This is more so when we see the vision, we know it is close, and we have no doubt that we are able to do what the Lord requires of us.

Striving and performance are contrary to the Spirit of God. He is a God of free will and will not make us do something because we have to, but rather because we want to. We want to because the Lord has equipped us and trained us ready to do His Kingdom purposes.

We live in a time when we need to be exactly on time, in God’s appointed plan for our lives. We need to watch that we don’t preempt something because of expectations.

UNITE US!

by Belinda Jabore

We must take the risk to unite in the church no matter what it takes. Unite in “The Faith”. Unite us oh God in a right spirit towards You and each other.

The Holy Spirit highlighted a scene in Braveheart, which I think was around the 7th time I have seen this movie, and He impacted me in the scene when Robert the Bruce so wanted to be like Braveheart's Mel Gibson. Robert the Bruce saw how fearless and couragess Braveheart was to stand for the truth and freedom of others and fight for it, and yet regardless of how he admired and wanted to be like Braveheart, he betrayed him when it was his chance to stand for what was right at that hour. This was an opportunity for him, but Robert the Bruce succumbed to mans tradition and what was thought to be right, therefore betraying the true move….

This is for all of us, but I feel to say and alert the Indigenous First Nation people, as they need to be aware of this as white people have tried, and still will try, to take the reins and power and then think they are leading the move of God in Australia. The Indigenous First nation people however must be at the forefront and leading this battle, and lead and unite with the right ones God has connected their hearts with. Even though there is risk to unite together we must be brave just as Braveheart was for the battle of unity and freedom in the right Godly order. So this is where this word is coming from and what I see in the future, and is happening now, and will come against carriers of the truth and freedom of the church especially the Indigenous First Nation people. We must unite together and get behind them to unite to be the Apostolic prophetic five fold ministers in their own right, and we must bring the church into true freedom of what she needs to be and to stay that way - “Her true call uniting together as one”.

Look out Australia, the Indigenous First Nation people will take their place and position, uniting together for God’s plans and purpose and the religious spirit will not like it.

Betrayers and betrayals will come saying they are for truth and freedom of the apostles doctrine and unity, but they will betray, saying they want to fight the good fight with you but then turn and side with the more accepted move, even when they have the ability to help you they will just leave you in a vulnerable position when that is the time they could shine in God to help wherever they could, but they will turn their backs on the true move of God. Leaders in prominent positions who say they are friends of God and know Him. Religious power hungry prideful men and woman who bow down to traditions of men who love religion more than Jesus who will try to stop what Jesus and the Father wants to accomplish for His kingdom purposes. They love to be in power drawing attention to themselves without the Holy Spirit, having a religious form of power but no Holy Spirit true power; therefore controlling what people think is the Holy Spirit. This is happening now.

But God will prevail and His truth will bring freedom and the gates of hell shall not prevail over His church. God will have His way. Women and Men apostles at the helm together with prophets with the rest of the five fold ministers together will identify and remove these spirits so others can live to stand in their rightful place and authority. Godly order to bring truth and freedom in the church as it is meant to be. It will not matter what color you are or what culture you have come from, regardless of these things all of us will “unite’ with God’s kingdom plans and purpose at the forefront of our heart and minds. Kingdom overrules culture. Hebrews 4:12-13 “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Apostles get to the heart of the matter and their love for each other and love of the truth will be evident. Their unity and peace will bring Godly order.

Footnotes from Aramaic New Testament say -
The burden of change is upon mankind to nurture the spiritual man according to the image of Elohim, but false religion puts the burden of change on Heaven, demanding that heaven conform to man’s religion.

It is so true of what has been and is and is coming in a greater way to the body of Christ.
Just as Jesus Christ died so must the mighty apostles and men and women of “the faith” in the spirit and the natural, to every thing that they have had or known? Loving their life unto death for Jesus Yeshua. Just like those who have fought for freedom before- there is a great price to pay. These mighty saints are instruments and carriers of truth to change the direction of where the truth has been twisted; it can only be done by those authorized by the Holy Spirit, Jesus and Father God and their order.

All colors and people groups will unite together. Cultures or traditions of men will not compromise the truth and only God’s Kingdom plans and purposes will prevail, as cultures will unite. Kingdom Rule overrides cultural rule.

Lovers of the truth, apostles with prophets uniting together with the evangelists, pastors, teachers. Five fold, as one, they all will unite then with other truth bearers and carriers of the same heart as Jesus and the Father and their Holy right spirit.

A remnant together as one, doing the work of the Kingdom of heaven.

Unite our hearts oh God - Unite us!

THE DANGER OF TOKENISM

by Glenice Mills

We live in a world of slogans, sayings and catchy themes. Language is a subtle way the enemy can numb us to believe lies and say things that have no foundation on fact, truth or wisdom. We say things not realizing the power of the words we speak.

I want to address something that is being blithely spoken at this time, which is a part of our language, but is a very serious thing to speak.

Everywhere at the moment after the Paris bombings, leaders, Christians and peoples from all nations are saying, “My thoughts and prayers are with those in Paris”. Words are cheap. If we are truly honest we are probably thinking of other things and our prayers may be a quick ‘Help the people in Paris Lord’ and then we get on with our own thoughts and prayers for our own needs and wants.

Many who don’t know the Lord as Saviour still pray and that is the marvel of mankind that has this deep innate seed on the inside of all to reach out to God in prayer.

I am not being critical or judgmental because the truth is the Lord hears our prayers, He knows our hearts and I know He is grieved about what is happening in Paris and in the world. Rather I am challenging the heart intent behind the words we speak or more importantly what we don’t speak.

I fear tokenism is behind a lot of things and our religiousness will have us speak things that we have absolutely no intention of actually carrying out. I wonder how many people who have said the words ‘my thoughts and prayers are with Paris’ have actually sat down, sought the Lord for His heart for Paris, or whatever is on His heart in France or other nations that are also experience devastating things.

Tokenism means granting minimum concessions, making a token effort. I think we are all guilty of this in some measure, however we need to be very careful particularly as Christians when we give our word to someone that we carry it out. So perhaps we need to be more mindful of what we commit to saying and doing?

My question is: from what heart intent is these prayers for Paris being offered up? Emotion is powerful but the foundation of the emotion is critical. Sadly many are praying for Paris out of fear and anger. What ‘religion’ is the base from which these prayers are being said? What false foundation are these prayers based on? Man’s opinions? False peace? Do the people really care or they only doing ‘the right thing’ from pretense?

Many prayers are to a god, but not to Father God, through Jesus Christ our intercessor. Does God hear these prayers?

I have no doubt that many Christians are burdened with Paris and France right now and this is rightly so. Others have burdens for other nations, people or situations. The Lord reveals His heart to His people and we all have a responsibility to stand with, pray, love and support those who need us. Prayer is not just words it is actions. Prayer is a free will choice, not an obligation.

Let’s seek God for His perspective on some things. Yes He is a God of love, compassion and mercy, however let’s be on target and pray what He wants us individually to pray, not from wrong emotions, obligation or because it’s the right thing to do. Let’s not say, “I’ll pray for you” and go on our merry way with no intention of doing what we just said. Watch out for tokenism – it is subtly in our culture and speech. Let’s come back to what God says.

Let’s not forget this:

James 5:16
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The EFFECTIVE prayer of a righteous man avails much.

LAZARUS

by Jesse-John Jabore

Have you experienced the amazing saving grace of God similar to Lazarus being raised from the dead?

Beware...... the religious spirit of this age that resides in the ‘powers that think they be’ is prowling like a hungry lion. Its intent is to devour not only the ‘Son of God’ in you, but the testimony of His miracle working power......that is YOU!

John Chapter 12 v 9 – 11 ‘Now a great many of the Jews knew that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead. But the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also, because ON ACCOUNT OF HIM many went away and believed in Jesus’.

When the reality of Jesus’ power is displayed, the recoil effect upon the doctrine of people under the control of a religious spirit is massive. There is false doctrine and true doctrine. In this instance true/correct doctrine is that Jesus is the Son of God, with the miracle Lazarus being raised from the dead. False doctrine finds its origins in unbelief. As Barnes once said “unbelief stops at no crime”.........’but the chief priests plotted to put Lazarus to death also’. So, the weapon may be formed but it won’t prosper. Be encouraged. You will not die you will live......He’s a GREAT God!

GOD SPEAKS - REACT OR RESPOND

by Glenice Mills

It is interesting as you read the Word of God to see how different people react when God reveals Himself and speaks to them. There are many and varied reactions that we can learn from. I love the way God speaks to the potential, when the very opposite is happening. That is how He is with us. We can, however learn some things from the wrong reactions.

Gideon: In Judges 6:12 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, and said to him, “The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor!”

We then see Gideon’s reaction in the following verse: Judges 6:13 Gideon said to Him, “O my lord if the Lord is with us, why has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles that our fathers told us about, saying, “Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?” But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.”

Just like Gideon our unbelief and the bowing to our circumstances going on around and about us override what the Lord has just spoken.
Gideon did not react like a man of valor but rather a frightened, overwhelmed man who did not show any leadership skills. As we see further in Scripture Gideon did become a man of valor with a few tests a long the way.

God speaks to us, and we then quickly become overwhelmed by the circumstances we find ourselves in. We negate what God has just spoken.
Like Gideon we are no different!

Another example is Moses who after God had shown him many miraculous signs he still doubted that he could lead the children of Israel to the Promised land.

Exodus 4:10,11 Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither before nor since You have spoken to Your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
So the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing or the blind? Have not I, the Lord?’

We see Moses still contended with God about his ability to speak and was not happy until God gave him Aaron to speak for him.
How often after the Lord has spoken to us and asked us to do something for Him do we then look at our inadequacies, making excuses for all the things we are not, rather all that we are?

Like Moses, we are no different!

Another interesting example is when Elisha stayed with Elijah until he ascended to heaven. The sons of the prophets saw this, yet they still had to go and search for three days to see if they could find Elijah, even after seeing the miracle.

Again it is easy to fall into the trap of ‘maybe just maybe what I had will come back.’ It is easy to want to go back to what we had, what we knew, and therefore resist the new that has come. We don’t see and appreciate the ‘now moment’.

We have to be very careful as even experiencing miracles does not necessarily increase our faith. There are many seeking the signs, wanting to feel and know ‘the glory’ but again change doesn’t necessarily come. People search out the next feel good occasion, the next conference to get the ‘high’, but things don’t change in people’s lives, they still go on with the same bad attitudes and habits. The high is not sustained, life is maintained, but growth is not evident.

The exciting thing is that Moses and Gideon grew as men of God and became all that He said they would become. The reality is the negative reactions also caused ongoing problems for them. Aaron, Moses brother who Moses asked to speak his words for him, also became a problem to him.

We have to be constantly flexible to what the Lord is saying and doing or we will miss a very strategic opportunity.

It is interesting to see what happened when Jesus called His disciples.

Matthew 4:18-20
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers; Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
They immediately left their nets and followed Him.

The same happened with the other disciples. Jesus called them and they immediately stopped what they were doing and followed Jesus.

So what made these men instantly obey? They all had to give up something they knew, a job, and a lifestyle to follow Jesus. God had prepared these men’s hearts so when Jesus came to them, they without hesitation followed Him.

The Lord is requiring it of His people right now – one’s that He has earmarked for a specific job to do to advance His Kingdom in this hour. God’s heart cry remains – ‘FOLLOW ME!” It will mean giving up some things, there will be a personal cost, and there will be persecution. Let’s not fall into the trap of one’s who react but rather respond with “Yes Lord I choose to follow You no matter what.” The choice is mine the choice is yours. We have free will. Let’s not hesitate, time is short, there is a work to be done!

GENERATIONAL CHANGE

by Glenice Mills

A number of years ago I wrote a word about the ‘generation gap’. It was a saying that came about during the 60’s and 70’s when there was a cultural shift in morals, and life values. It was the beginning of a greater rebellion against God and His ways. It was a defining time in history. It was the beginning of pitting one generation against another. The good news was, it also saw the birth of the Jesus movement.

The words ‘generation gap’ have brought consequences that to this day have defined groups according to age. It has locked people into what man says are a particular group people should belong too. It has shaped culture since. The truth is the enemy has lied and bondage has resulted.

The dictionary meaning of gap is a breach in hedge, fence or wall; empty space, interval, deficiency, and wide divergence in views.
The result of a gap is a chasm, a divide that has to be filled.  Guess who fills the gap? The enemy! He has promoted the mindset of the wide divergence of views of misunderstanding between the generations.
Instead of us embracing the differences we have succumbed to the great age divide.

A gap brings separation, a divide, division, a ‘them and us’. This ‘them and us’ leads to isolation, which results in a superiority and pride. It creates a social and cultural divide. It breeds inclusiveness and exclusiveness.

It is interesting to note in most churches there are group divisions such as youth, married, young mothers, and elderly. There is nothing wrong with these groups getting together meeting their individual needs. However the problem arises when there is no cross-pollination among the different groups. The danger is a fragmentation – a breaking off, casting out because of a hidden prejudice.

It is such a fine line and the lie is subtle. It distorts what God truly represents, and that is family – all ages, sexes, and nations meeting together as one in true unity in diversity. It is where there is mutual honour and respect. The walls of division come down and the building of true oneness in God, each gleaning the unique aspects of the different groups begins to form.

The Lord reminded me where over twenty years ago I foreran a programme in the kindergarten I led where the elderly from a neighbouring old people’s home would come visit us for a short time once a fortnight. It was interesting to watch the children’s reaction and also the way the elderly responded. We used to bake something for morning tea and prepare a musical item. The elderly came alive, were excited and willingly joined in our activities.

We also used to regularly go and visit them at the old people’s home where they would entertain us with an item and provide morning tea. Friendships and bonds were made and the walls of division came down.

Of interest was the Asian children were so much freer in relating to the elderly and most other children struggled to connect.
It is interesting to note that in recent times they are planning both old age facilities and childcare/preschools in the same grounds. There is a mutual benefit for all.

The truth is God created us to need one another. We dare not fall into the trap of favouring one particular group over another. The Lord’s heart is about legacy. It is about us all embracing our differences and drawing what we need from one another. The young need the wisdom of the older ones and the older ones need the zeal of the young. Together we are an expression of the fullness of God.

The Lord has burdened me with the importance and how crucial it is that we encourage, promote, and allow the expression of the young to have a voice. That is not just an occasional opportunity to preach, or share, but to provide a platform for them to be who they are truly called to be. It is drawing out the gifts, anointing and unique ways they have so we will also be fired up. The Lord is rising up some young ones with maturity beyond their years, with a social conscience, and there is a quickening of positioning for them so they can be most effective. Time is short and we dare not hold them back as we need them to forge ahead to bring about His Kingdom purposes.

This word may appear to encourage the generation gap by singling out one particular group, - the young, however God is highlighting some and we need to know who He is speaking and revealing His truth too. Inclusivity encourages all to be all they are called to be no matter the age, sex or culture.

Joel 2:28,29
“And it shall come to pass afterward
that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your old men shall dream dreams,
Your young men shall see visions.
And also on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days.

God is and will pour out His Spirit on all flesh – that is the young, the old, male and female. There will be no exclusive groups, but all loving, supporting, in unity being and doing all God has anointed them too.

We must be aware where we break into our groups according to age, but rather draw from one another the unique expressions of God, so together we can begin to display the fullness of Jesus Christ in His body of believers. Let’s recognize where we have believed and accepted the lie about the generation gap, repent of the division and move toward one another, encouraging, standing with and wanting the best. Be quick to repent of comparisons, jealousies and making judgments that encourage division. Watch what we say – “The young have it so easy, they don’t have to go through decades of hardship like we did.” I often hear the older ones say this. We don’t know and see the big picture of what God is doing in this hour, but what I have noticed is He is doing a quick work in the young because time is short and He needs them to mature in Him because evil is increasing. We need one another like never before. Let’s embrace the different expressions and move forward together. We are on an exciting journey!

MANY LEADERS, MANY WORDS

by Glenice Mills

Last night (Monday 14th September 2015) we saw the demise of another leader of this nation of Australia by the hands of an ambitious man. We saw the end of true democracy where the votes of the people were no longer truly upheld and instead the political party room fears of self -promoting won out.  This is a sad day for Australia and for democracy.

Australians would say they live in a land of abundance, freedom and blessings. However there is a deep discontent that drives the people to always want change to the leadership in this nation. The issue with Australia is a LEADERSHIP issue. There is a deep cry that says: “give me a leader who will make the hard decisions” but whenever a leader tries to lead they are then vilified, made a joke of, mocked and derided. The very thing the people want is quickly shot down in flames. The venom and vitriol associated is vile and vulgar. It reflects poorly on the people and is a disgraceful display viewed by other nations as unusual. Other world leaders look at Australia and wonder what we are so ungrateful for. They are envious of our economy, lifestyle, and all the good this nation has to offer – particularly its people. But we CAN’T SEE IT!!!

New Zealand’s Prime Minister, the Honorable Mr. John Key was heard to say: “what is wrong with Australian politics that they have so many leaders when the strength of the economy and other key indicators would not warrant regular leadership spills.”

What is wrong that we have had so many leadership changes in a short time? Why is this happening and what can be done to rectify this? We need to come back to the Word of God and what it says.

So what does Scripture say about a nation that has many leaders?

Proverbs 28:2
When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding and knowledge, its stability will long continue.

When you think of Australia you would not think it is an unstable nation. The truth and reality is: it is an UNSTABLE NATION! And yes perhaps we could say it is in fact God’s judgment. We must come back to the words, when a land transgresses, in other words, when there is sin there are many rulers. There are some things that the Lord is judging right now.

We have seen through out history where many third world nations have had many leaders overthrown bringing political instability. Have we considered that perhaps we also have political instability? It would certainly seem that way!
The voice of the people has been shut, and the value of a vote has been cut down so you could say the foundation of our governance is not good.
This word could seem extreme, however we need to stop and consider what is happening here, right now.

We have seen throughout the Bible and history where God has put in place both Godly and ungodly leaders depending on the state of His people. God puts the leaders in place to bring about His greater Kingdom purposes. It is no different today.

There are some observations I would like to make that are important to note at this time.

Malcolm Turnbull, our new Prime Minister is known to speak many words. He is described as verbose, however it will be what will trip him up. Scripture says in Proverbs 10:19

In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise.

When many words are spoken it is easy to forget what one has said and promised. The heart of the message gets lost and it causes a stumbling and tripping up. It is a trap for the foolish. This will happen to our new leader.

We have seen in the past where those leaders who have overthrown a sitting Prime Minister have not remained. They have been spoken of as a traitor who ousted a sitting Prime Minister. No matter if they were a good leader or not these words were later used as an accusation against them. The same will happen with Mr. Turnbull. Why? It is the law of reaping and sowing.

Galatians 6:7
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

So what are the deep issues that keep Australia stuck in this leadership battle?

LEADERSHIP: I think we need to ask ourselves where are the true leaders, that is one’s who have a genuine heart for the betterment of Australia rather than their personal agenda. Why is it that when a leader tries to lead they are quickly ousted? It seems that true Godly leadership is pulled down for an unrighteous agenda of power and self-interest.

THANKSGIVING: We as a nation have forgotten we are blessed. There is ungratefulness and a sense of entitlement that is founded on self and what is in it for me. There is a constant rumbling of discontent that fuels ungratefulness. Unless and until we are truly thankful for what we have in this nation we will continue in the cycle of the revolving door leadership.

MOCKERY: There is a mocking stronghold principality over Australia that verbally pulls down leaders and the way they do things. People are quick to sneer at and speak against any leaders who try to take a stand for what is right. We have seen this with the way Mr. Abbott has been treated. It is unbecoming and in no way is edifying of leadership.

DISHONOUR: I have to say it is embarrassing to witness the dishonor that is given to those in leadership positions. There is a dumbing down of the position with an overfamiliarity that keeps everyone on the same level. The truth is all leaders are worthy of honour because of the position they hold. Our Prime Minister is the leader of this nation, they represent all that we are and for us to dishonor them is rude and crass.

DISRESPECT: All people are worthy of respect and to demean anyone, particularly a nation’s leader is uncalled for. There is an overfamiliarity that keeps everyone on the same level.

IT STARTS WITH THE CHURCH!
I know many have been praying for Mr. Abbott to remain as Prime Minister as he has made a stand for righteousness. He has been a vocal opponent of same sex marriage. The Lord sees the big picture and He knows what is ahead for Australia. As a church we need to recognize the battles we are in and rise up and speak out for what is right and true. I have no doubt God’s heart is for Australia to be a sheep nation. The End Time church is arising in Australia and we will be a voice for righteousness and justice. God will have His way! He does see and hear our prayers! We will be able to declare: what the enemy meant for evil God WILL turn around for good!

Job 12:23
He makes nations great, and destroys them;
He enlarges nations and guides them.

We must never forget this nation of Australia is God’s nation. He is God!

IN CHRIST OR FOR CHRIST

by Glenice Mills

Perhaps one of the greatest traps we can fall into is where we do something ‘for’ the Lord instead of ‘in’ the Lord. There is a huge difference between the two.

It is good to often consider whether or not we are doing something ‘for’ the Lord.
This is where what we do crosses to ‘works’. Our intentions may be good but the way we go about doing something is the problem. It is so easy to start out doing what the Lord wants, but then we subtly add our interpretation. It is our often-well meaning thinking that ‘we know a better way’, or a short cut, to bring to a conclusion. This is where we cross the fine line.

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

So what things make us do something ‘for’ the Lord?

1.    Pride – When we think we know better and put our hands to something the Lord never asked us too.
2.    Impatience – The truth is some things can take a very long time to come to pass. We may have had a prophetic word speaking into our potential, but time seems to be running out. This is when we try and make something happen in our impatience. This is often at a crucial time when we are on the cusp of breakthrough.
3.    Our own competence – Often we are able in and of ourselves to make something happen; however the timing may not yet be quite right. We draw from our own skills to bring something to pass.
4.    Deep rooted fears – Fear of missing out, fear of failure, and fear of rejection can set us up to make us do something that it is not yet time to do.
5.    Rebellion – I’m going to do it anyway! This is where our attitude is wrong and we have deep issues with the season in God we find ourselves in. This is when we purposefully do something when we know we aren’t meant too, going against what the Holy Spirit has revealed and/or counsel we have received.
6.    Religious mindsets – This is the way it has always been done so I will continue to go this way. It is where one is immovable, inflexible to any changes and will hold onto the old way of doing something no matter what. As a result we do something for God but He never endorsed it.
7.    Performance based – We have always done things to earn love, approval and acceptance from people so will strive to make something happen in our own strength so we feel secure.

The good news is we don’t have to remain in old ways of doing things. The enemy loves to have the Lord’s people burn out, trying to earn their salvation.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

So what happens when we do something ‘in’ Christ? The results are quite different.

1.    Humility – We know we are not able to do something in and of ourselves and are completely reliant on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We make choices from a place of fear of the Lord – not wanting to grieve Him.
2.    Maturity – We have learnt what it is to walk in the perfect timing of God Patience has developed as a fruit in our lives.
3.    We know without the Lord we can do nothing and we need Him to anoint and enable us to do what we have too. It can only be done in Him.
4.    We may have fears, but we know as we run into Him that He is our security, our safe place, and we are loved no matter what.
5.    Obedience – We only want to do what the Father tells us and have a deep desire to walk in obedience to the Holy Spirit’s leading. We want to do what ‘s right no matter the personal cost.

‘In’ is a little word, like the word ‘if’. These words come with conditions. They speak of a choice, a right way or a wrong way of doing something.

Galatians 3:26
For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Let’s watch that we don’t fall into the trap of doing things FOR  CHRIST instead of IN CHRIST.

THE ARISING OF THE VOICE OF INDIGENOUS WOMEN

by Glenice Mills

Recently many women from Women’s Apostolic Alliance attended the Indigenous Women’s conference held in Ipswich. This was not a WAA event however the Lord had shown us that it was going to be a very strategic.  Apostle Dr. Lynne Hamilton was the main speaker and she taught on the apostolic and I spoke about the prophetic. The Lord moved very powerfully and we know that victory and freedom came to all women who attended. It was a defining time for all of us. There was incredible unity, and we were truly of one heart, one mind and in one accord. There was time of repentance, declarations and a coming together in communion and prayer.

It was such an honour to be a part of this epoch time where we are seeing the rising of women, particularly the indigenous women of Australia. Many have done much in secret; they are doing amazing exploits in their communities, often alone. They spoke of being the door to their families, particularly their men. There was a powerful time of prayer for their men and for God to move to bring breakthrough for them.

There is a sound coming out from many Indigenous women, a sound of war. There has been a wrong perception of the Aboriginal people as being passive, and quiet however this is a lie of the enemy. This warrior sound, birthed out of brokenness and injustice will break strongholds of prejudice, division and misunderstanding.

We dare not shut the mouths of those who are called to speak in this hour; they have a cry that must be heard. God is raising His five-fold Indigenous women – His apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists, and they will speak and declare God’s truth. The enemy is trembling as it loses ground because a victorious group of His women take their position as His voice in this land.

Revival won’t come to the church in Australia until God’s men and WOMEN, alongside our Indigenous men and WOMEN come together in unity. All walls of division – prejudice, judgments and wrong attitudes towards one another are repented and renounced and choosing to embrace our diversity, in love and honour toward one another. We must come in the opposite spirit of division because of prejudice and misunderstanding between one another. We dare not try and make the indigenous become like us non-indigenous by trying to get them to be ‘more like us’. That is pride, arrogance and superiority on our part!

Acts 10:34-35
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.
But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.

God does not have favorites.  He loves us all. Let’s get His perspective!

SHAKING THE OLD FOUNDATIONS

by Glenice Mills

During worship on the 20th June 2015 the Lord spoke to me. This is what He said:

“Open your eyes – see what is happening! The seasons, the times – don’t be numb! Don’t go to sleep – wake up – open your eyes – see what I am doing.
I am doing a new thing, there’s a stirring, a stirring, a rumbling – things are shaky. Why do you fear? I am shaking the old – foundations are crumbling.
They have to crumble – have to crumble – so I can build – build on the new foundations. Many are falling – churches are falling – My plans – so I can build the new!”

When the Lord first spoke this word to me I was unsure what old foundations He was shaking. There are so many areas that the Lord could shake however He showed me it was in His body of believers. There is coming a time that the true fullness of the Bride will begin to come forth. In order for this to happen old foundations have to crumble. It will be by the hand of God, and many will be shocked at the brutality of the fallout of some well known leaders, ones deemed of high reputation. The Lord sees and He is going to reveal some things that have been done in secret. Corrupt practices within the church will be exposed.

We know the Scripture about the wise man building his house upon the Rock, but we have to remember he is wise only because it was built on the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This is where the Lord is drawing a line between what is true and what is false. The opinions of man, the teachings of false doctrines, and the holding onto tradition are stumbling blocks to the fullness of Jesus Christ coming into His church.

Deception has come and blinded many of God’s precious ones. He is going to bring the shaking of man made human endeavors and bring His standards of truth, justice and righteousness. Some false religious teachings have to be exposed so the true can come forth. That which is crumbling, built on sand will not be able to stand in the day of God’s judgment. He will pull down those false doctrines and practices built by the hands of man.

Many churches started out being built on the Rock, the Lord Jesus Christ, however the problem arose with the structure – that is what holds everything together. Because traditions and idolatrous practices have crept in, this has made the church impotent. That which was supposed to be a light, a place of refuge and love has slowly eroded to being a club with fun programmes.

The truth is the Lord is coming with a sword to bring a dividing line between what is His church and what is by man’s design.

Matthew 16:18 “And I say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.

The church will be victorious! However, it will only be victorious when it is built on the rock.  The tragedy is many well meaning people who love the Lord have subtly been seduced to believing lies that have blinded and deceived.

If God is raising up His apostles and prophets then issues such as tradition and idolatrous practices have to be exposed. This will make them unpopular, however it will bring a separation between the true and the false. As they speak and declare God’s truth you will see the Lord judge and bring a falling down of that which is not built on the Rock. The old must crumble for the new to arise.
Man has put his systems in place and added the Lord’s name to it thinking He endorses what man has put his hand to. It is delusion, and in no way can be called Christianity. Anything with man’s agenda as its core will not stand it cannot stand.

So what does the new look like? It will have the five-fold ministry in position with the apostles and prophets confronting, and setting in place true Biblical foundations, so growth and maturity will come to the saints. The saints will be empowered to go out into the world and be effective and influential to bring change in society. Strongholds, principalities and powers will be confronted by a fearless army of men and women, of all tribes and tongues, coming together in unity to expose darkness and speak and declare God’s light.

This will be the victorious church!
