Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." (New King James Version)
So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgment of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word. (Amplified version)
We have the message, we have the hope but sadly we don’t always live our lives, and set an example for those in the world who may be watching that reflect the message of hope. The truth is we have the hope. Do we speak hope or do we join in and speak negativity along with those in the world who do not know what it is to have a relationship with Jesus Christ? We live in turbulent times, there is much going on in the world at this time that would have us doubt, bow to fear and anxiety and subtly come into the world’s hopelessness. Do we truly believe this message of hope? God is not surprised by what is happening in the world! The prophets who have been speaking of this and warning what is to come are not surprised; but many Christians are reacting as if it was not meant to happen. Many have been in denial hoping the prophet’s words were false. Many have accused these prophets who spoke of the coming world global financial crisis as ‘false prophets, and doomsayers.’ Those who had ears to hear heard and were obedient to make sure their finances were in order, particularly in the area of debt are now in a place of peace. The Lord showed that in this season we are like ones doing white water rafting.
When white water rafting you are completely reliant on the water flow.Sometimes there are smooth and level areas of water flow. However, other parts there is turbulent waters where you are entirely in the hands of the fast flowing water. There is nothing you can do to stop, resist or fight it, you can only go with the speed and flow of the river. You are entirely at the mercy of the water’s flow.If you fall out it is very difficult to swim to the sides because of the speed of the water flow. Generally you have no other choice than to ‘let go’ and flow with it.
We are in times like this. We have no other choice than to ‘let go’ and trust the direction and flow will lead to an end at some point, to smooth, calm waters. There is always a finish line when you can’t go any further. The Lord will accomplish what He wants to do on earth at this time. We can go with the flow, or we can try to resist and fight it. To resist and fight it will not achieve anything but anxiety and fear. It will bring strife and despair. This season is a test for us Christians and for the church. We can embrace it as all joy to join in the sufferings of Christ or we can turn our backs on truth, choose denial and pretend it will go away and ultimately compromise our Christianity. So what can we learn from this example of white water rafting?
1. Before white water rafting we have to be prepared with the right equipment. We have to make sure our raft has no holes in it, that it is completely water tight. Like our lives and the church we have to make sure that all is in place, that there is no access point for danger to come in - for the enemy to try and take us out.
2. We must know what the water and weather conditions are before embarking on the journey. As Christians we need to be aware what is happening out there in the wider picture of the world. We are in the hands of outside circumstances such as any brewing storms, any changes that could impact the practical running in our day to day lives so we are forewarned and forearmed.
3. Those that go water rafting wear the appropriate protective gear. They wear protective head gear and life jackets to keep themselves safe. There is footwear that protect their feet from slipping on the rocks. This is not unlike our armour - we need to have our armour on so we do not become beguiled by the enemies trick at this time.
4. There is always a leader at the helm of the raft. It is essential that those on the ride listen to and obey the instructions of the leader so they are kept safe and do not go into any areas that may be dangerous.
5. The leader has a large oar that can be used to steer the raft away from danger particularly in the flat waters just before heading into the rough waters. It requires the people on the raft to trust the leader that he is leading them in the right direction.
6. Most importantly the people have to ‘hold fast’ to the ropes on the raft so they do not get swept overboard or lose their footing and hurt someone else on the raft.
We cannot escape these turbulent times we live in. Christians throughout the ages have had to endure the times they lived in and we are no different. We were all born for ‘such a time as this’ so surely that means we can draw on all we need from the Lord to get us through. It is a test of our character and our faith whether we are prepared to persevere, to endure and to hold fast. We can use these times to ‘grow up into Him’. The Lord has given us keys to endure the times in His word. This is opportunity for the church to be the light in a world of darkness and despair. The church can meet the needs of those in want, and to speak and be examples of the message of life and hope that we carry individually and corporately. This is the perfect time for the church to ‘arise and shine’. It requires a people who know their God. They must be a people who have an inner resolve to follow hard after Christ no matter what is going on around and about them. It requires a people of faith. It is an ideal time for the church to be positioned in the world and the community, to be all that it was called to be - the giver of life, love and a way forward - the message of Jesus Christ, the message of salvation. However, it is also a time when the church must be careful that it does not put a yoke on its people. Jesus said ‘My yoke is easy and My burden is light.’ ‘I will build My church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.’ Therefore if God is building His church we can and must trust Him to provide for the needs; both spiritually, practically and financially. Church finances are being tested at this time. Some church monuments built by the hands of man will fall, but those built on the rock, Jesus Christ, in His will, according to His leading, will grow and be all that it is called to be. Church leaders must not bow to fear and unbelief but hold fast to the promises of God and trust Him to provide for their needs. God is well able to change the hearts of His people to give generously, to sacrifice and to hold fast to the vision of the church so it can do all it is sovereignly called and destined to fulfil.
Romans 12:11-12 - "Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavour; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer."
We are all white water rafting together, Jesus is the master oarsman, steering the raft and all we need to do is hold on, hold fast to Him! It is part of His plan for these days in which we live, and it is all about His kingdom coming here on earth. What an exciting journey we are on! Hold on tight!

Prophetic Word for Australia - The ‘Tsunami’ Waves of God

Since I was 12 years old (for 24 years, I am now 36 years old) I have dreamt of a massive ‘tsunami’ wave building up and breaking over the lighthouse and oceanside headland of my hometown of Byron Bay, NSW, Australia - yet it was followed by other ‘tsunami’ waves breaking in the same place. These almost identical dreams I’ve had over these many years (and ages) have left me with many and varied insights and prophetic revelation concerning my region, and my nation of Australia. Although these waves were massive and quite terrifying to behold, even in ‘dream-state’, I have never felt they are literal waves that will actually wipe out our eastern seaboard of Australia, they always (even before I was Christian, as a 12 year old and in my teens) seemed to be ’spiritual’ in nature, which I of course not always understood. The revelations about these (7) waves being Holy Spirit and power waves from heaven have come to me progressively over the years, as I have really fervently agonised before God concerning their meanings. I do not presume to have all the insight about these approaching waves, but after 24 years of receiving divine knowledge about them from God, I am now being highly “moved” by the Holy Spirit concerning the waves’ seemingly imminent spiritual impact, and deep within my spirit, not just my mind,heart or soul - I know that we are about to fully experience the impact of the first “tsunami wave” of God’s true heavenly kingdom power and arrival, and our nation will not be the same ever again. So many realms of government and business/society structures are about to change dramatically, yet the leadership of God’s Church/Kingdom are the first realms of “target” for this first wave. God is about to expose and remove false christian leadership in Australia. He is about to convict the true leadership of any existing sin and disobedience to Him - because He is a Holy God, and that is what He does! He forgives our sins! He is cleaning up HIS CHURCH - HIS PEOPLE! God is starting with His house, and He starts with His leadership every time. Expect to hear of some terrible sins committed by church leadership in Australia, because God is “shouting it from the rooftops” in many cases now, because time is short and He hates being misrepresented and mocked. Apostolic order starts with Church/Kingdom Leadership. Signs, wonders and miracles will occur when God’s anointed and ordained leaders are clean before Him, because it’s about relationship WITH God, and intimacy can’t happen where sin abounds. A wave of cleansing approaches for God’s leaders! (Then a special one for the sheep!)
I truly now sense this first wave is fast approaching, and natural weather patterns are reflecting what I have been sensing. The natural disasters and violent, sudden and furiously erratic weather is symbolic of the heavenlies and the massive preparatory shifts taking place in spiritual realm anticipation of what the Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ is about to decree over our region and nation. Indeed in preparation also to break a major seal in heaven, concerning the earth ,and the Book of Revelation/Daniel realities are about to happen in a fuller way, more noticeable to more than just the prophets of God! Senior Apostles and Prophets are feeling an urgency to equip God’s people in the prophetic ministry as never before, and to teach on what the Apostolic age is truly about. God is bringing powerful clarity to those who are truly wanting to learn about the prophetic realm of God. To hear God’s voice personally is of the utmost importance for every believer in Christ right now, and into the next era. A wave of prophetic equipping is coming.
Prepare, prepare, PREPARE! I hear trumpets at the ready, about to sound. I hear the rumbling of both the vengeance of God toward His enemies, and the extreme protection (angelic) and love of God toward HIS true people. A true spiritual “tsunami” wave of God is building here in Australia, and as a surfer of 26 years I understand the many ocean movements and weather patterns which align together to produce waves. Though some huge waves are produced from storm cells combining over the ocean and their winds whipping up a huge wave, typically, tsunami waves are produced by an ocean sea floor earthquake happening and the sudden resultant force producing one or more tsunami waves. These travel at great speeds over the ocean (nearly undetectable) and produce great and devastating impact when they hit the shoreline shallows of a land mass. I believe we will see both these TWO types of “Spiritual” waves arrive here in Australia - both a wind/storm-produced wave, followed closely by a mightily powerful series (up to seven) of God-sent ’tsunami’ waves of the Holy Spirit. The first wind/storm wave will be the result of spiritual warfare between (predominantly) the true apostolic/prophetic, and the false apostolic/prophetic realms that exist in Australia. The Holy Spirit is initiating a huge spiritual battle - and the purpose of the Father God in this war ahead is to establish HIS TRUE Apostolic order, exposing that which is false in people and church ministry structures, revival and reformation; and the next wave(s) from an ocean floor earthquake (supernatural shift and outpouring of the Holy Spirit) - producing and empowering the true apostolic and prophetic church authority in Australia, exposing the false, and bringing in the Lord’s harvest of souls through repentance of sins. Prophetically the “Ocean” represents humanity, so one tsunami will come because of a storm with powerful winds (Holy Spirit power) from “above humanity” in the heavenlies - and one tsunami will come from the ocean floor “beneath” humanity, because of a total shift at it’s core and foundation on which it stands. I believe the first wave is peaking during 2009 and 2010, then breaking on our eastern shoreline in 2011 in a move of the Holy Spirit of God, followed quickly by the second tsunami “set of waves” of the Holy Spirit which will see Australia take a major shift in to ‘global’ church leadership and Kingdom authority, which will spread to New Zealand and the South Pacific Islands - then to Indonesia and later to many nations of the earth. Both types of waves will carry the fires of repentance and conviction of sin and apostolic order (nothing can happen until there is apostolic order!!), which is largely the reason we are now being more intensely refined by the fire of God’s discipline and Father heart - and why we are given the ‘Spirit of the fear of the Lord’ to define and keep us safe on our narrow mountain (of the Lord) path ahead. Please keep in mind that this move of God, however powerful it’s initial impact will be here in Australia, will first be “birthed”, then grow in to maturity over many years and it will be stewarded by young and old Australian warriors of God, the faithful ones! So patience and wisdom will be paramount in stewarding God’s sovereign move here in Australia, and a toughness of spirit will be required as we have NEVER before experienced. We are currently “pressed from all sides” because a true and lasting sovereign “kairos moment” in God’s time on earth is at hand, where He (God) is shifting every power, principality and authority around to “HIS WILL” as never before. It’s all in scripture and we are witnessing the end times where everything manifests at once, and the true apostles and prophets will shine as leaders over the Body of Christ as not ever witnessed before. Only the strong and faithful will endure the coming hardships in the earth, and personal sin will be the blockage to hearing the Word of God for ourselves and others. The WORD OF GOD (rhema and logos together) will be the most valuable commodity on earth, especially once this first wave hits and confusion reigns in the “unsaved” (both christians and non-christians alike!).
As I said before, we will have ‘multiple’ tsunami waves of the Holy Spirit in Australia’s move of God - I believe there will be one initial wave, then six more - being seven in total (more on the detail of these 7 waves later). We really are being tested in the fire right now so we can handle the sheer voltage and heat of the fire of God which the first wave will release in Australia, and we will need to withstand the persecution of the “false christian” spirit also. This is all essentially great news - that “God is being God” in our very midst! Tangibly being felt and experienced by many, and on mass at times - indeed revival of God’s people/body is coming! Yet many and varied will be the experiences for the Church, because not all who claim to be Christian, are indeed truly Christian. “Tares”, “wolves”, “false brethren”, “enemy spies”(all the anti-christ realm) are about to be confronted and exposed in our very church meetings/midst, and for a time there will be a savage contention for who exactly is true and who is not, and that “process” will last a couple of years. The waves about to hit Australia are apostolic reformation and prophetic truth carriers. Kingdom reality is coming, and it is beyond us all, it is GOD BEING GOD. The Prophets are on to this, on high alert, and we are already being strongly drawn to seek God like never before, for answers concerning what is happening. The “quickening” happening in many of us right now is about “character refinement”. Our motives and hearts are being “pricked” by the Holy Spirit so powerfully now, and holiness is the predominant goal as far as God is concerned. He wants to “DWELL” in us, so he is driving OUT of us the things which he cannot dwell with - namely SIN!
These waves are to prepare God’s bride really, in a true and experiential way. Pain and suffering will be experienced, yet reviving will eventually come. It’s the mercy of God that He is sending prophets to the front line right now, to warn and prepare the church about the coming Glory of God, yet also about the duality of experiencing both suffering and immense peace at the same time during the processes of refining. The approaching waves of God are not going to be mellow and nicely gentle to experience, as some ‘false glory’ prophets are preaching right now. If you are full of independence of spirit and rebellion and slander/sin, you will NOT have pleasant experience during “revival” at all. It will burn you until you cry out for God to stop (mercy!), and you repent, which is God’s ultimate aim for his people. We are in such disarray as a church, that the apostolic order of the first three waves needs to come like never before. Yet obedience to God’s chosen true apostles of Christ will be the evidence that you are humble and true, and the opposite will also be true. Apostolic order is what Australia is about to encounter, and not until true apostolic order comes will we ever feel truly safe and secure as HIS BODY on earth. Jesus Christ is the Apostle of us all, and this is the FATHER GOD manifesting as the overseer of all HIS people in the earth, protecting and empowering them to do HIS WILL, under HIS chosen appointed Apostles. The father heart of God is being released in these 7 “tsunami waves” in Australia, and this will mean that God’s powerful love (beyond the fickle ‘human love’) is about to be experienced, which is both nurturing and wrathful, depending on who you truly are in HIS EYES! I wouldn’t want to be a false christian in this coming move of God in Australia, and I truly pray mercy on them because of the severity of judgement God is about to release upon them for their deeply evil ways, deeds and character! A glorious time of rejoicing is at hand, but the true prophets need to be also warning us that we must be so very close to God’s ways, or we won’t experience this joy, refreshing and reviving that is about to come and bring life to the Church of the Living God in Australia. These waves are serious, and yes signs, wonders and miracles will be in abundance….but truly we will not be focussing on THEM for too long (other than for what they mean prophetically etc). We will be focussing on GOD, and giving HIM the glory by obeying HIS leaders as though our lives depended on it, and praising, worshipping and revering God as He ought to be! STAY IN HIS WILL and repent of your sin at all costs - just clean it all out of yourself through His blood! It’s a sober and serious time. God will NOT be mocked. I wouldn’t want to be a false christian in this coming move of God in Australia, and I truly pray mercy on them because of the severity of judgement God is about to release upon them for their deeply evil ways, deeds and character! A glorious time of rejoicing is at hand, but the true prophets need to be also warning us that we must be so very close to God’s ways, or we won’t experience this joy, refreshing and reviving that is about to come and bring life to the Church of the Living God in Australia. These waves are serious, and yes signs, wonders and miracles will be in abundance….but truly we will not be focussing on THEM for too long (other than for what they mean prophetically etc). We will be focussing on GOD, and giving HIM the glory by obeying HIS leaders as though our lives depended on it, and praising, worshipping and revering God as He ought to be! More on these waves to come, in a series of prophetic bulletins from myself in the weeks to come.
God bless us all, that’s my prayer, these are potentially perilous times ahead. We need God’s blessing as never before! STAY IN HIS WILL and repent of your sin at all costs - just clean it all out of yourself through His blood! It’s a sober and serious time. God will NOT be mocked. He loves HIS bride so passionately, and we are to love Him the same through our faithfulness and obedience to one another in our different authority and calling levels in the Kingdom of God. May the great Apostle’s grace and peace be yours! In Christ.

Prophetic Word - Stay

I was walking the beach with the specific intention of looking for and collecting coral. I had walked the full length of the beach without finding any coral and had picked up along the way, shells, urchins, and other items of interest and beauty and by the time I began to head back along the beach my hands (and pockets) were full. After only a few minutes I spotted a piece of coral, however my hands were so full I could not pick it up without letting go of something else. The Holy Spirit then began to speak to me. What would my decision be? Was I prepared to sacrifice what I already held in order to take up that which I had purposefully set out to find? Would I settle for what was within my grasp or would I empty my hands (and pockets) and set my heart and mind once again to the original plan? Though I held many things of beauty what held the most value for me personally? (Though this may seem to others to be an insignificant matter , I had the constant weighty awareness that my decision was of great significance, almost as if heaven was waiting with baited breath for my decision).
I instinctively knew that the only right decision to make was to drop everything and brush myself off and begin again on my original course . I refocused, diligent in my intent this time, and before I had reached the car I had collected so much coral that i even had to carry it in the cuffs of my jeans!!!
It is imperative that we as a body have a clear and concise knowledge of “the vision” , and also an understanding of our place within the bigger picture. Only in the knowledge of our “call” both collective and personal can we be diligent in pursuing and protecting all that God has for us. While we cannot be ignorant to what goes on around us we sometimes need to wear blinkers ( as racing horses do ) in order to keep our focus on the purpose in front of us.
As individuals and as a body a ”force”even, we cannot afford to get consumed or side tracked even distracted by good things and purposes that are not those things that God has called us to . Our strength, power and effectiveness will be found in our passion for Christ and indeed in the areas of passion that God has placed within us. We must each play our part to be effective and as we have learnt, we are individually accountable to God Himself for what we have done (or not) according to our call, gifts, talents etc.
I sense it is also imperative at this time that we also review the covenant relationships we have entered into. Are they in fact still Godly? Are we remaining faithful to the covenants we have entered into? Do our relationships reflect integrity and unconditional love? Do we still have Godly motivation for the relationships we are in? Do we still love those we are in relationship with, even though we do not like them? We may need to redefine the relationships we have according to how God instructs.
Stay focused, unencumbered, and true to all God has given you.
