Perhaps one of the most dangerous places to be, is when a nation, a people, a body of believers is lulled into a place of ‘she’ll be right mate’, when in fact things are taking place around and about them that no-one is seeing or doing anything about.
That is the danger of complacency, apathy and dull-heartedness. Sadly this is a stronghold over this nation of Australia and it is one that has effectively shut down God’s people and the people who reside here - and we are blinded to this fact.
Why do you think that things are happening in our Government and in our society, that should not be so? We accept the bad mouthing of one another and call it ‘a larrikin’, when in fact it is straight out lawlessness and rebellion. And we think it is okay for our Government leaders, leaders in all levels of government, to behave in this manner, and we even laugh along with it, in agreement with this behaviour? How do you think the Lord feels when He sees one’s who are supposedly His, accepting this as the way it is and not doing anything about it? Perhaps it is now time to wake up to what is going on and challenge those things that are not right, that are subtly being accepted as ‘normal’ and speak out and confront the evil that is slowly taking hold particularly over this nation of Australia. Perhaps we need to see things with ‘fresh eyes’, with the eyes of the Father, with the heart of the Son and with the grace and mercy of the Holy Spirit? This is what we need in this hour, in this nation, to rise up, speak out and be active in our making a stand for what is right and true. If we do not, mediocrity and compromise will lull us into a greater place of sleepiness and we will miss out on seeing what the Lord is doing - until it maybe too late.
Perhaps one of the biggest dangers is when God’s prophetic people also come under this thinking and being, and then wonder why they missed it.
Does Scripture not say that God does nothing unless He first reveals it to His servants the prophets? We, those called as God’s prophets, have a deeper and greater responsibility and accountability for being His mouthpiece, for speaking what is on His heart, and rising up and being the voice that we are meant to be. We do not want to be caught napping.
Unfortunately, many have become fat - fat with the Word of God, fat with prophetic words, but what are you doing with what the Lord has spoken to you?
Are you putting into action what He has asked of you? Or are you, sadly, coming under the stronghold of ‘she’ll be right mate’? Are you coming under and bowing to the circumstances taking place in your life right now that seem all too consuming, when the Lord is wanting you to be an overcomer and take back the land which the enemy has had a hold of?
Perhaps this word could be called a rallying cry for God’s army here in Australia to take up its arms and to arise and take formation to take back what was the Lord’s and bring new life, new hope, new promises to a land - that is - a land of opportunity.
It is up to you, it is up to me.
This is a time when the prophets words need to be sharp - sharp to pierce the darkness, sharp to hit the bullseye, sharp to pull down the strongholds firstly in our own lives and in the bigger picture - Australia and the nations.
There is an assault right now for us to bow to lies. If we remain complacent we will succumb to laws that will bind us to unrighteous governance and we will not be able to speak out or do anything about it because it will be too late. Our freedoms of speech will be eroded and if we are not careful even the right to come together as Christians - to fellowship, to speak of the Lord Jesus, to preach the gospel, and to share His word in evangelism will also be blocked.
This may sound far fetched but whether we like it or not our civil liberties are being cut back and some things that we accept as life here in Australia, they will be quietly, subtly and un-beknownst to even us will no longer be allowed, all because we have been lulled into a false sense of security because of a ‘she’ll be right mate’ mind set.
We, the church, do not want to wait until it is too late. We have accepted the gods of other cultures, we have embraced them under the false heading of ‘we all need to accept one another and their beliefs’ and ‘let’s all be friends’. There comes a point when a line of separation between what is true and what is false must be drawn, and a time to make it known. There is an urgency! The time is NOW!
Ask the Lord to open your eyes to see what is going on in our parliament both federally and state. There are ungodly laws being passed even now. The latest talk on climate change is a distraction to take us off focus to what is of greater concern in this nation. There is much being done in secret at this time, particularly at the federal level of government and my prayer and heart cry at this time is for the underbelly of corruption, evil schemes and lawlessness to be exposed.
I sense the Lord is saying ‘enough’ and some things are going to come to the light that will shock many, in fact it is designed to shock the church out of its apathy and get them to stand up and be the voice it was always meant to be.
Scripture says judgement first starts in the house of God. What say judgment is happening right now and we are not seeing it? We have a thinking that judgment by God is a radical, obvious sign, but what say judgement is quiet and you don’t know it is happening because you are deceived and have come under a blindness. We have become deaf and our hardened hearts have shut us down to what is happening around and about us. Perhaps this is the most serious of judgments for we don’t know it is happening. I sense this is what is happening.
If there is an increase of the acceptance of false gods and false religions maybe it is because the church has accepted false doctrine and taken the middle ground appeasing all instead of actually being the salt and light of the world.
We are meant to be an offence. The truth is if the gospel of Truth is preached in its fullness and sin is actually spoken of and confronted, maybe we would actually be what we are called to be and be light in a world of darkness.
The truth is we can’t become all things to all people when it comes to the Word of God and to His ways. If we don’t stand for something we will fall for everything.
Scripture cannot be watered down, to bring everyone on a level playing field and pander to mans desires for what feels good. The Christian walk is not about feeling good in the moment, it is about relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and making Him Lord of our lives, not living our lives for self with Jesus along for the ride as an attachment to be used and abused when we have need of Him!!! She’ll be right mate, because we have the Lord to call on when we have need and then go on and do what ever feels good and looks alright. That is the lie that she’ll be right has lulled the church into and we must recognise how it outworks in the Christian body so we don’t fall for this compromise.
As I’ve been pondering on this stronghold of ‘she’ll be right’ the Lord has been speaking to me about dull heartedness. Ignorance lulls one into a place of dull heartedness.
“She’ll be right” is rebellion. It is a DELIBERATE choice of ignorance. Perhaps this is why it is so concerning - because it leads to a dullness of heart.
“She’ll be right” is a choice of denial, it requires a choice to close our minds and hearts to what we know deep down as right but we justify it by saying the cost is too high so we’ll accept middle ground. If we want to walk in truth we will always have to give up something. The choice is ours no one else’s.
There is an ignorance that comes from a straight out “we didn’t know.” We aren’t accountable before God if we genuinely didn’t know something.
There can also be a level of ignorance when we hear something but we didn’t hear it until it became a rhema word - like the penny drops and something clicks and falls into place. Even here there is a level of knowing and a level of accountability for what we heard. We need to be careful that we don’t fall into a false trap of ignorance because of the stronghold of ‘she’ll be right.’ You are reading this so you now know and you are now accountable for where this has had rulership in your life. You are no longer ignorant. Ask the Lord to show you where it has affected you and shut your eyes, closed your ears and hardened your heart to what is right and true.
Isaiah 6:8-10
8: Also I heard the voice of the Lord saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
9. And He said. “Go, and tell this people:
10. “Make the heart of this people dull,
And their ears heavy,
And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart,
And return and be healed.”
I sense an alert for this nation, if we do not stand watch and be the voice we are called to be we will become more dull and the door of evil will increase and we won’t even know it. Where are the voices who will stand and speak truth? Who will declare the warning? We dare not bow to this spirit of “She’ll be right” because it will go wrong, it is going wrong now, and we aren‘t seeing it or doing anything about it. “She’ll be right” will become “we’ve got it wrong” and by then it will be too late!!

Possible to Hate the World and Still Love People
by Jesse-John Jabore
Recently, I found myself in conversation with the Lord, or maybe it is better referred to as a ‘meditation of the heart’ moment. As I attempt to relate the essence of the ‘thing’ I recall the words, ‘Come now and let us reason together’ – the first line of Isaiah 1:18.
In my somewhat ‘pastorally jaded state’, the Spirit of the Lord spoke to me these words –“It’s possible to hate the world and still love people”. This made some sense to me initially as we are ‘in the world, but not of it’ and ‘aliens and pilgrims etc’. Admittedly, at the time I was especially over the ‘carnal carry on’ that is propagated through the media, especially the electronic element. Anyway, soon after someone said the words (it may have been my wife Belle as it’s her favourite scripture) - ‘For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.’ John 3:16.
Immediately the reality of the words ‘God SO LOVED THE WORLD’ impacted me to the very core of my being. It occurred to me that I had been in communion with the living God being reasoned with on a profound truth. Not that I’m someone so special, just that the fullness of truth was hidden from me on the matter. Even more it was the desire of a loving Father to comfort and counsel a son – such is His way, His Holy Spirit.
(As an aside, I ironically related the words to a friend ‘it’s possible to love the world and still hate people’ instead of ‘it’s possible to hate the world and still love people’ yet, this in its own way is a confronting truth.)
I suppose a key point to make from this (dealing with a possible contradiction) is settled, at least for me, in the epistle of 1 John Chapter 2 verse 15 through 17. ‘Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away and the lusts thereof; but those who do the will of God abide forever’. This could be thus interpreted that God indeed loves the world but not the flawed aspects of man, a result of the fall. The fallen state was lovingly delivered the death knell once and for ALL on Calvary – praise Jesus!
My prayer and hope is that the above is pleasing to you Papa.
Onwards and upwards Christian soldiers empowered by His sweet, sweet love.

I am Reshaping My Church…
by Patsy Grubb
I am reshaping My church and I am testing My bride. Will she remain faithful when all that is familiar is stripped away? I have trained your arms for battle, I have trained your fingers for war. Take up the weapons that I have given you and prepare. The breakthrough is to be found in the midst of the battle. Not in the the fighting but in the rest you find in me. For I have prepared a table for you in the midst of your enemy. No longer can you focus on your perceived lack or upon the Hordes of hell, but you must train your eyes to remain on the Captain of Hosts.
