Since the beginning of the year, I have been persistent after the Holy Spirit, and I find that it is only fleeting moments that I could really say that I connected with Him. With all the distractions there are in life, (some necessary but most not), I find each time I do find Him though, I am so overwhelmed by His love and peace that fills me and sweeps around me, which then fills me with a deep inner joy that is unexplainable and so amazing, so desirable.
As I was in this state I could hear in the background phones ringing, first the mobile then the home phone, then the mind stuff saying you should be doing this or doing that, oh I should be going to gym now, etc….. but as an amazing songwriter friend of mine puts it in a line in a song of his……… TURN THE WORLD DOWN!
I realise how much time I don’t give to my Precious Friend and Helper, the Lover of me and my soul, the Holy Spirit, who is waiting at every moment and turn in time to come to me when I call. I just know in this time in my life I must be in fellowship and in love with the Holy Spirit more than ever before. I have just got to have Him……. which brings me to a song that the Holy Spirit told me whispering in my ear…..

Prophetic Worship

I had a picture of A FIRE WATERFALL for one Friday meeting.
In the natural fire & water can not occupy the same space. The water will either put out the fire by displacing the oxygen it needs to feed on & removing heat by evaporating into steam or it will be totally evaporated by the fire (changes it’s form). But in the spirit water & fire can co-exist. Both are symbols of the Holy Spirit.
In the picture the flow of the waterfall is like water, strong & powerful; top to bottom, but made up of flames. The water refreshes the thirsty. The sound is like water & like fire. It is so bright it is difficult to look at. Parts break off & splash up at the bottom & goes out; it can either refresh or consume, burn you up or help you grow & change - depends what state you are in.
It is also about the old & the new. In the tabernacle of Moses the people & the priests brought the offering, following the rules laid out; it was done towards God. In the tabernacle of David the ark (the presence of God) was not hidden away behind a curtain. People sang, danced, played instruments IN THE PRESENCE . Where the ark (presence) was - prospered (20 years with Obed Edom). The tabernacle of Moses is a picture of worship that is led by someone TOWARDS God - as opposed to the tabernacle of David worship, that responds to & INTERACTS WITH God
God tells us to worship in spirit, the Holy Spirit & our spirit, and Truth - Jesus is the truth. God is about relationship, He walks & talks, has conversations with US. He has a plan & a purpose for every time we get together & also when we are on our own.. He is intentional, purposeful, every time He has something to impart - not always with words/through mind.

Rev. 19.10 for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. marturia mar-too-ree’-ah ; evidence given (judicially or generally): - record, report, testimony, witness.
The evidence of Jesus is prophecy. Prophecy shows, is evidence of Jesus working, combined with worship it is God speaking through us as we focus on Him.
Why did Jesus say to the woman at the well that (John 4:23) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
The Father seeketh - (be (go) about, desire, endeavour, enquire (for), require, (X will) seek (after, for, means)
At that time during each passover approximately 18,000 lambs were sacrificed, the law was being fulfilled, offerings were being made? Why would God be seeking worshippers? The Old testament & law are a symbol of the outward, God’s desire is for the heart, the inward.
Mat 15:8 - This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
Mat 15:9 - But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
What we think of as worship may not be what God is truly seeking for. He is seeking relationship, and how can we have contact, sharing, friendship with a Holy God if our hearts are far from Him?
When we worship prophetically we are submitting to God making Him & Him only the
focus & purpose of the meeting - He directs what will happen, He leads & interacts with us. We respond to His love and follow His lead.
There are 7 words for praise in Hebrew but it is only a certain type of praise that draws God to dwell, sit down, remain and that is ‘tehillah’ praise.
(Ps 22.3) God inhabits the praises of his people, the tehillah of his people. Tehillah, when used in context throughout the Old Testament, speaks of singing and making melody in our hearts spontaneously to the Lord. It goes beyond the “learned” song, and breaks forth out of the heart of a lover.
It is worth noting another place of Tehillah praise - 2 Ch 20:22, ‘And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.’
Enemies are defeated in times of spontaneous, heart & spirit worship which listens to & interacts with God. Prophetic worship can very obviously be warfare; all worship lifts up God & as such is a type of warfare. As God leads we can be speaking & prophesying in song. It can also be a time of deep intimacy with the one who truly loves us. As we allow God to lead us deeper into Him I think by default we are doing warfare because we our focusing on & giving our whole heart to God, nothing to anyone else.
There are times when we can be overwhelmed by being aware of His presence & yield like a bride to Jesus who gave Himself so we could have a relationship with God. At times like these we are declaring in ourselves & in the spirit realm that God is the only one, our love & response to His love changes the air/atmosphere around and continues to do so. Nothing is better than being in that place of intimacy, listening to & responding to such a safe & beautiful friend. Our very lives become prophetic - we are a picture of the coming wedding feast, a taste, just a sip, of the banquet to come.
Prophetic worship can be a time of learning - in spontaneous song from the Holy Spirit, He shows & teaches us about the nature of God in what He says - often He speaks of his love for us, encourages us, tell us of His thoughts towards us.
It can be a time of declaring - speaking out into the spiritual realm the word God has for that time; sometimes to speak to the opposition, sometime calling people, as yet unknown to us, into their destiny.
Worship through learned songs is like being in the outer or inner court & helps us focus, connect, direct our thoughts, speak out new songs of truth, use the gifts God has given in song, music, dance all creative expressions. But God does say that some gifts are better than others - we are to seek the gifts but earnestly desire to prophecy, we need to have the fruits of the spirit BUT the greatest is Love. Prophecy & love again together. I feel the spontaneous, prophetic worship is the best or greatest worship and earnestly to be desired.

The land cries out for justice
and the earth it withers and dies
the blood cries out from the earth where it was split
There have been for generations, great injustice
I have heard the mercy cries
I have witnessed blatant disregard for life.
And yet
I came that murderers may be forgiven
I came that men may trade their guilt for peace
I came because mercy triumphs over judgment
I came that hope, dreams, love and life may be released.
You judge yourself and others
and yet you fail to truly see
the evil, wicked ways of mankind’s heart
I see it all
nothing is hidden, it’s blatantly obscene
and yet I choose to draw all mankind to Me.
It is My heart, that none should perish
that man would turn form all his wicked ways
It is My heart, that man would be reconciled to Me
That is why I chose to leave My Father
and to lay down My life
I chose to pay the price for sin at calvary

For Africa

Out of the ashes, the debris and the dust… I will raise up an army of warriors to send to the world. They have witnessed persecution, killing, carnage, plagues, famine and disease…. they will be used to minister My Love to a hurting, desperate, dying people. Desolation has been their breeding ground.
They do not position themselves before man. They simply forgive those who have persecuted them and stolen the lives of their loved ones. They love those who hate them in return. They petition Me on behalf of those who rape, steal and torture. They hunger, thirst and suffer and yet still praise me.
Their lives, their testimonies will I use to melt the hearts of man… to instil courage, hope and faith. These will be my bearers of change.
The picture I saw was of women both young and old. Their daily lives, convicting the hearts of those around them. They present the truth of Christ to people through their actions. Teaching a neighbour how to weave a basket so they may have means by which to support their family - despite the fact that the neighbour once hacked her family to death during a tribal uprising . Another feeding and caring for a neighbours child despite the knowledge that her neighbour falsely accused her to authorities causing her to be beaten and shamed. The women’s only motivation? Not fear but love. The desire to do what is good, what is right, what is love, WHAT IS GOD.

I will heal your land. Though the earth be cracked and dry and your fields be barren, I will pour my Spirit out upon you.
I will send you rain from Heaven. Daily, fresh manna. I will give to you revelation, inspiration. You will discern what is the truth. I will teach you by my Spirit, what is man and what is Me, and you will discern without doubt the enemy’s strategies.
It is a season to hold fast to all you know is pure and true. It is a season only I your God can get you safely through.

Where blood has flowed - there rivers of living water shall flow.
Where desolation has been - there I will bring forth new life.
Where lives and families have been broken and torn - there I will bring restoration and healing.
In the deserts and the wetlands, in the absolute wastelands - to the very depths of the earth (soil) itself. I will deliver signs and wonders that will shock and amaze even the most hard hearted people amongst you. Unbelievers will even say - “Surely, this must be God!”

Freedom of Choice

Watching the various Christian TV stations can seem so “diverse”, i.e. on one side you have the, so called, “Christian right” (the Pat Robertsons, John Hagees etc), who appear to speak oh so boldly on ‘issues’, then you have the Joel Olsteens who don’t want to offend anyone, so avoid using words like Sin or Repentance. You have others rallying like crusaders, against Islamic domination (yes, a real threat), but ignore the quiet machinations of Rome; you get the shouting Nigerian “man of got”, you have the back-combed, nice suit, “sow your seed” crew (aka “gis us yer money, or God will not bless you”). You get the well tempered Chuck Misslers and occasionally, we get to see the brilliant Graham Cooke. There’s champions on UCB, Revelation TV too. Wow, what a choice. We all have our favourites; we can hear what WE want to listen to, when WE want to listen to it. Or do we?
I remember once going in to ‘Waterstones’ book shop, to buy a couple of books. Next door was the rival bookshop ‘Dillons’ (since gone bust) I found the books I wanted in Waterstones, but thought, “I wonder if either of them are cheaper next door?” So I went to the rival book shop and found one of them cheaper, so I bought it there and then went back to the first shop and bought the other book. What a good deal, I thought That’s a healthy situation; it’s good to have choice.
I’m glad I got the books cheaply, but it dawned on me that there was no real choice! Later I discovered that Waterstones had bought out Dillons a long time previously. The same firm owned both shops. PC World, Currys and Dixons are owned by the same company; many newspapers with seemly different views, are all owned by Rupert Murdoch. Simon Cowell, although he pretends to, doesn’t care who wins X-Factor, as either way he makes his money. Is there a difference in the policies of Labour and Conservatives any more?
We all think we are exercising freedom of choice, but what if all the choices are provided by the same source. We can fall for an illusion that we are making a choice and exercising free expression.
When we watch Christian TV, good as a lot of it is, what seems like diversity, is rather tabloid.
As Christians we must test everything - even what I’m saying here. The Bereans were considered of noble character, by Paul. This was because they checked what he said, by comparing it to scripture, to see if what he said was true. Paul didn’t say, “How dare you, don’t you know who I am?” He commended them for this good practice, because he knew that sooner or later wolves would try to come in.
Please discern by The Holy Spirit, when watching “Christian” TV channels. Not cynically or overly suspiciously, but because we ‘love the truth’. Any bible teacher, worth their salt, would encourage this. We have our favourites on tv, eh? (One loves Paul, another Apollos, ha ha)
Sometimes new theories, Christianese buzzwords or phrases, get into our vocabulary and we accept them, without checking where it came from or if it contradicts God’s word in anyway. Just because it’s on the telly… Yes God is doing a new thing, but even if an angel comes to us with a different gospel let…
…well you know the scripture! - (I hope)
Before swallowing anything, chew it over… taste and see - if it’s good, receive and digest it, if it’s off, spit it out!

1) Like cinema rating guidance such as U, PG, 18 (R in the USA) certain visions from The Lord will be given relative to the maturity of each saint! We can all sometimes fanticise that we’re of Daniel or John’s calibre? Daniel was sickened and shocked and John fell down as though dead, when they were allowed by The Lord, to see what they saw.
Dreams, Visions and Prophecy etc, have been promised. Just to remind ourselves, once received, we’re then responsible for them; and also what The Lord then says to us, about them. A sobering thought, because many chase these like butterflies. Many seek signs and wonders, in themselves - for various, mixed motives; sometimes a ‘need’ to be known (by men) as the one who ’saw it first’, so as to give an impression they have an exclusive hotline to God. If that’s been the case, they’ve sadly received their reward already! This is not always the case, of course, and God has put prophets in the church and it’s important they’re identified. What I’m just getting at is, it’s good to check the motives of your heart - because God certainly will! God’s gifts are not given so we can do party tricks, “perform” for visitors or elevate ourselves/ministries, in the eyes of our peers. There is a difference between this and with what Paul the apostle mentions about giving “a demonstration of the Spirit’s power”; it’s one of, whom is glory received by? If the motives of the heart are misplaced, flattery may entertained, (even idolatry) and then Pride can set in… a very lethal place to be. See what happened to Herod.
So… this year be careful what you ask for!
Be bold, desire spiritual gifts, yes! But check your motives - ask why are gifts given out? So be careful and scriptural; Jesus said that as you freely receive, you are to freely give! To those that have been given much - much will be expected! The Lord will be requiring a more mature character in us, so as to wield these gifts with integrity and an obedient application.
2) “At the back of the parade”, “the scum of the earth” to quote Paul… it seems to me, limited as my knowledge is, apostles serve and bring godly order, yet do not operate through coercion. They establish the required environment of hearts, for The Holy Spirit to move and speak; and also for God’s people to function and grow into His will for them, as well as for those they will ultimately affect.
I believe in the latter part of 2010, The Lord will be interrogating issues of ‘true biblical leadership’. One of the many aspects of this, I believe, is the traditional dynamic of “clergy” and “laity”. Looking at ‘what is a leader?’ - whilst at the same time shaking the “Committees” around them. Not to prevent accountability, but reveal the ones that retard the work of the Kingdom; and also the unofficial subcommittees that lobby against leaders, creating an ‘undermining’ consensus; these will be shaken to the core. The people, themselves, that is! If that’s us in any way, be advised we must repent now, while we can!
‘Absalom types’ in the church at large, will be exposed from within. How this is then dealt with, will be the test for the leaders that The Lord chose. It will be interpreted by some as an attack from the enemy, but The Lord is ‘shaking the tree’ - to see what fruit falls from it. The church at large, needs to get a clue that we are part of a kingdom, not a democracy. The saints need a fear of the Lord here, it’s going to be serious!
Also leaders will be feeling the sorrows of God’s heart - over people, over cities, over promises unfulfilled, over those wandering blind - blind leaders and the blind that follow them. This will turn to deep compassion and intercession. The Lord will decide what happens next! Praising God through out and then seeing The Lord’s hand move in all this, will bring profound Joy. It will spur us all on, into the test of 2011 (the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible); the firestorm of 2012. (forget the Mayan end of the world ‘tosh’, the firestorm is The Lord’s!); and to the claims on the church in 2013. (2013 is the 1,700th anniversary of Constantine making Christianity the Roman State religion and the 1000th anniversary of King John signing over England to the Pope, as a fiefdom of Rome)
Back to 2010, “Rejoice with those that rejoice, mourn with those that mourn” Cheer on other churches/saints that do well (don’t be jealous - Thank God His Kingdom is growing!) and be concerned for other churches/saints/leaders when they struggle. (don’t work for Satan by being gleeful about failing churches/people - pray for them!)
Breakthrough! for Worship leaders & teams… yaaay!
3) Jesus said in Luke 5:4 “Launch out into the deep…”
Peter’s response was honest… I.e. “we’ve fished all night and caught nothing”. As workers in the harvest, we can all feel like that sometimes, eh?
When a move of God is declared we feel, yeah, done that, got the T-shirt etc. Take on board what Peter then said!!! “but, because you say so…” and they went out again and the nets split with the massive haul they got!
Did you feel tired at the end of 2009? Take hope from here on in, because when The Lord say’s “go out again”, put aside the weariness and dare I say, familiarity with tried ideas and methods that didn’t seem to work, and GO out again. (He already has said “go” in the “great commission”, I know) But the specifics of where, when, how etc; when The Lord speaks to us, because He says so let’s go out again! (Hope the nets are strong enough!
4) More posturing in the middle east and fears over Iran? A few scares - only scares, mind!
5) Watch Central/South America; plans afoot for destabilisation of the region. Especially Venezuela, via Columbia.
6) The Climate change debate, will not go away. Now Copenhagen ended as a damp squib, pray against any use of HAARP to affect the weather patterns. (HAARP is a method to use weather modification technology as a weapon, or to bring about a change in weather patterns over a localised area or a nation.) The technology, banned in 1976, exists; so please pray it will not be misused, say to manufacture evidence of climate change or extreme weather, and thus push through hidden proposals.
Boy, are the secret ones, mad over the failure of Copenhagen! As Stockholm in Sweden becomes Green capital of Europe in 2010, and Spain heads the EU, expect a “demonization” of the Climate Change “Sceptics” in the media. This is to prepare for another attempt in Germany, on creating a global financial framework, in the form of Carbon Tax.
Connected with this, please pray for our schools, as children will start to be targeted to be good “global” citizens – under the guise of the environment; the aim being to fashion their minds in preparation with other plans; down the road a bit, it could end in lectures for family members about “global” responsibility or even “reporting” mum and dad to the authorities for any “failings” (who defines failings?). Science fiction? Well, it actually happened under Stalin and also Hitler not so long ago. – it happened! …and it happened, because it’s a technique that works!
7) Well, Mr. Gordon Brown has invited Mr. Benedict to officially visit the UK in 2010. The invitation has been accepted. Watch this space, I suppose. Expect a lot of closet catholic politicians and clergy will declare their true feelings and allegiance etc… who knows maybe even the Prince Charles will to surprise us? Later, someone from Ireland will become prominent in the Vatican. Sunday will be peddled as the thing that unites “us”.
Finally the issue that has caused Church leaders so much consternation and wrangling in prayer these last few years, will be answered in 2010. Leaders, you can burn your thesaurus, because I believe The Lord is about to reveal the most important thing on your calendars… the perfect name for your up and coming conference. Yes folks it does exist! The Conference name of conference names - What could it be? Epicenter? Firewall Fest? Lightning Heart? Heavenquake? Eagles, Swords and Lions Prophetic Art Cliché Conference? Who knows? Personally, I don’t give a monkey’s… I hope it’s in the style of Clint Eastwood i.e. “the Conference with no name?”
Sorry, just messin’… I had thoughts of Monty Python’esq committees with each person competing for the most dramatic title using increasingly sensationalist Christianese… oh wait a minute that actually happens doesn’t it? ha ha. In other words, God’s sense of humour is available next year, to anyone who wants it!

A Key to Intimacy

I was looking at Psalm 46, particularly verse 4 - “There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.”
I went out for a walk and felt God say stop at a stream which ran under the road. I looked at the stream running quite fast. As I looked directly down I saw a brass coloured key shining up at me, immediately my mind went to a scripture I knew well about us having the keys to the kingdom of heaven (Mat 16:19). I walked away happy that God had shown me something. As I walked away I felt God say to go back to the stream so I decided to obey the voice. I felt God say to sit on the wall and look at the stream flowing. The wall was very cold and a bit damp but as I sat on it for a while it seemed to still my mind (and freeze my backside) and I felt God’s presence. Then I felt God say go over to the other side of the road and look at the stream there, I did so and the water there was much more still.
I believe one of the things God was teaching me here was that first you have to be still then the river will flow, the river of God. So God had shown me a literal key and also a key to intimacy. A river is symbolic for prophetic or doctrinal streams of revelation.
Jesus said in John 7:38, “He who believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
Sometimes the road to stillness can be quite long and hard but you will be alright if you stop, look and listen.

I have placed you in formation - like an arrowhead. I will shoot you into the next year to hit my target, my aim is sure & you will hit the mark.
Every battle you fought this year has honed you & shaped you, every stand you have taken in the spirit has caused you to grow. Spiritual muscles have strengthened - continue to grow in humility & intimacy. All the strength you have will be most effective when directed from our (you & God) conversations & time together.
Well done - you have done all & stood.
Well done - for the times you wanted to run but stood.
Well done - for the times you did run but repented & came back.
Well done - for turning up & stepping out.
There is more ahead than you realise, do not think that you will be able to comprehend it with the mind because it is spiritual & must be discerned in the spirit.
Give your heart fully into what I have given you to do; doctors doctor, teachers teach, dancer dance. Love correction - it brings life, honour leaders - they fight for you, encourage each other. Don’t let life take you over, ask me for that encouraging word/action/gift to give, love one another.

Why do seagulls scream so much?
while circling out at sea?
What gripped the earth so much?
to compel them all to flee?
Adrift, I did what the ‘experts’ said,
by sending up a flare.
But I still needed a harbour in my head,
so I sent up a prayer.
Then I shot that flipping albatross -
'Luck' had nothing to do with it!

England, for a Bowl of Stew?

I remember at school being taught about King John being required, by his barons, to sign the Magna-Carta document at Runnymede; but were any of us taught the following in the national curriculum?…
As Norman brothers, Kings John and his older brother Richard (”the lion-heart”) really didn’t care for England or its people particularly. Richard, the so called “lion heart” merely siphoned England’s coffers, to fund the pope’s crusades in the Middle East; whilst John fleeced the poor and not so poor, for his own greed and lust for power.
King John’s manoeuvres toward absolute power put him on collision course with Pope Innocent III. The, now classic, battle over whether the papacy has authority over the crown of England, as well as the spiritual hearts and minds of its people, came to a head at this point in history. One of the main contentions sparking this, was ‘who chooses the Archbishop of Canterbury’.
In 1207 Pope Innocent III, invoked the ultimate Papal threat; he put England “under interdict”. (oooh naughty England, smack on the wrist you naughty little nation of heretics… get to your room!) Wait a minute Rome, you can’t talk to us like that; you’re not our mother! (Ah ha, therein lays the conflict of our age!)
Anyway, in 1211 Pope (not so) Innocent III sent an Italian churchman named Pandulf to England in an attempt to “settle” the “dispute”, but was unsuccessful. However, two years later in 1213, after being excommunicated, King John finally agreed to submit to the pope. (It didn’t look good on his C.V. you see). Pandulf came again to England, and met King John at a small Knights Templar Chapel, on the heights above Dover cliffs.
Hosted and witnessed by the templar knights, Pandulf officially received John’s signed submission on the Pope’s behalf, as follows (you might want to sit down before reading this):
“We wish it to be known to all of you, through this our charter, furnished with our seal… not induced by force or compelled by fear, but of our own good and spontaneous will and by the common counsel of our barons, do offer and freely concede to God and His holy apostles Peter and Paul and to our mother the holy Roman church, and to our lord pope Innocent and to his Catholic successors, the whole kingdom of England and the whole kingdom Ireland, with all their rights and appurtenances… we perform and swear fealty for them to him our aforesaid lord pope Innocent, and his catholic successors and the Roman church… binding our successors and our heirs by our wife forever, in similar manner to perform fealty and show homage to him who shall be chief pontiff at that time, and to the Roman church without demur. As a sign… we will and establish perpetual obligation and concession… from the proper and especial revenues of our aforesaid kingdoms… the Roman church shall receive yearly a thousand marks sterling… saving to us and to our heirs our rights, liberties and regalia; all of which things, as they have been described above, we wish to have perpetually valid and firm; and we bind ourselves and our successors not to act counter to them. And if we or any one of our successors shall presume to attempt this, whoever he be, unless being duly warned he come to his kingdom, and this senses, be shall lose his right to the kingdom, and this charter of our obligation and concession shall always remain firm.”1
This is quite a shocking thing to have been signed by the King of England. In a nutshell, this action meant that King John essentially gave “the kingdom” of England to the Pope as a “fiefdom”, and agreed to become a papal vassal. This unrestrained acquiescence by King John, plus the consequent annual (over)taxing to pay the pope, may have been a large factor in the drive to force King John to sign the Magna Carta document a few years later.
The Magna Carta gave some parameters and limits to John’s powers as King, as well as more freedom, influence and governance for the Baron (landowners). It gave nothing to the common man of course, just these select “players”.
So did the Magna Carta legally invalidate the previous Dover agreement?
Well what happened was that the Dover ‘deal’ with the Pope, re-established John within the Church of Rome; he had basically given the Pope, England, legally! Because of John’s original excommunication and his deal with the Pope, England technically belonged to Pope Innocent III as well as his successors; therefore, as John was his vassal, the Magna Carta was a “rebellion” in the eyes of the papacy. The Barons were excommunicated and the Magna Carta was declared invalid on 24 September, 1215. As the initial deal with the pope was legal and the said party did not agree with the Magna Carta, it could not supersede the document, signed at Dover. Soooooooo, unless anyone can find if there’s a rescinding in history somewhere, the implication is that (hold on to your hats) England is STILL a fiefdom of the Roman Catholic Church!
An interesting side-note is that, at the site of the signing of the Magna Carta at Runnymede, there is a monument; not to the signing of the Magna Carta, but in honour of the assassinated US president John F Kennedy, the first (?) Roman Catholic President of the U.S.A. …Why?
Take a moment to re-read King John’s signed agreement again and then stop and ask a few questions
· has the papacy ever nullified this LEGAL document’?
· If it has never legally been done so in history, can the UK, legally, have it recanted without the agreement of the Pope?
Perhaps when Napoleon abolished the temporal power of the papacy in 1801, all such agreements were broken? A bit like when a company, as a legal entity, goes bust. Or when the English civil war ended the so called “divine right of kings” to rule; there was then no “kingdom” of England as such. This would end this whole article right now. However, I dare say Rome has an answer for all this… just a thought to bear in mind however. Any legal experts our there could win the booker prize with a proper research into this issue.
I can’t help being reminded of Esau giving away his birthright for a bowl of stew… scripture says that ‘no amount of tears could win it back’ again! Somewhere in the deep vaults of Vatican nation, lays this ace in the hole, waiting to be thrown down as a gauntlet one day soon.
When will the bishop of Rome openly call in, this “foot in the door” of England?

Even if this issue, of the legality of England being a fiefdom of Rome, is truly the case, it doesn’t mean a church owns this nations people! The gospel is about an individual decision. A decision to receive salvation by grace, on the Lord’s terms and conditions sealed at the cross. For anyone to bow the knee to a religious System or a leader who thinks they act VICARiously for Christ, requires the consent of a person’s will.
The main global issue facing Christians, and this is imminent, will be about AUTHORITY. Where do Christians consider final authority to be found? The same issue that caused the ‘reformation’ by the way. (Do your homework Christians!)
Regrettably, a separation was inevitable, necessary and biblical, (when you look at the issues properly) “What?” you may say, “Surely Unity is God’s will? Jesus prayed that at the last supper”… yes but is the doctrine and attitude also in line with Scripture? If there is error, are they willing to change? Well, if they think they are the one true church and their leader is infallible, I’d ask, can it change? Yet many rush to be yoked with it? Why? Stop and think for a minute will you? Please.
The strategy today is called ‘ecumenism’, aka Unity, with “Mother” Rome? (Mother? Are we not brothers and sisters?) The current catechism, as per always, is NO we are not. Right there is the immovable and actually arrogant attitude of this Church. Yet many rush to be yoked with it? Who does all the changing then? Who, however should? Ever wonder why Rome only sends observers to the World Council of Churches and other Ecumenical projects instead of being members of them? It’s because if they did, they would be seen as a sister church instead of the mother of all the “misguided” groups.
Behind the touchy feely rhetoric of Vatican II, the attitude is really “yes, have your little diversity, we love diversity, we really do, (cue warm cuddly feeling) but come “home to “mother Rome” - yes, have your group, your denomination; we have various orders and sodalities as well; but just recognise the pope as supreme head over Christianity then we shall have unity”.
Some say “But they’re having a charismatic revival” (whatever that is) “They fall over and everything”. Observing familiar spiritual manifestations in themselves, is not the criteria to pass the scriptural test to see if something is from God. Also Jesus informed us that we will know who’s who by the Fruit, not Gifts… or Charismatic manifestations!!!
Some say “But Peter passed his “keys” to Rome”. Well the Byzantines, if they hadn’t been flattened by Islam, would have disputed that. However, even if this was true; the mass-killing down the centuries by the inquisition, the adding and taking away from scripture (altering the ten commandments/changing the Sabbath day, for example) and the proud refusal to consider the head of the organisation wrong/fallible in anyway, would disqualify the whole “keys of peter given” argument. A pedigree does not make a church immune from God’s judgement! See Romans11:20-22 “Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not high-minded, but fear: For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”
Tradition, (in this case the “church fathers”, the catechisms, etc) is no substitute for an ongoing relationship with the Lord and (obeying) His word - scripture. Jesus’ generation discovered that!
Mark 7:9 says: “And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.”
Colossians 2:8 also says: “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Also John the Baptist said of the Religious people of his day, proud of their heritage:
Matthew 3:8-10 “Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance. And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire”.
To be fair, we are all in the same boat in this. I’m not infallible, just like none of us are!
There’s an irony that if you disagree with this current ecumenical movement, there is an instant militant shunning, from those championing it. There is also an environment being cultivated in many “churches together” groups (heaven forbid if anyone mentions the historical conclusion of all the Reformers, plus Wesley, Spurgeon, Guinness etc that Rome was Anti-Christ (Another Christ) –This of course has been rescinded by lesser leaders of the main denominations; but the fact, unpalatable to some as it may be, is that this was historical position of all the reformers, much forgotten (or dumbed down) today. How many bible colleges cover this FACT?
It makes me think that the “counter-reformation” is not only still in motion, but is entering into its most intense and ruthless endgame. (“Ruthless? How dare you?” the undercover ‘sons of Loyola’, snarl). Well then Church, when the ultimatum to recognise the bishop of Rome or be shunned, called divisive… or worse, is put to you or your church, try looking beyond the camouflage of ‘Unity at any price’ and the “need” for “Vintage Spiritually” (aka Sacraments) and state you will only bow to Jesus and His word, and not to tradition or a “god/father”… then see the love in their eyes! It is sad to say, but wait and see… “Rome changes not”
Am I being divisive? Is that unscriptural? What would you make of Jesus saying he “came not to bring peace, but a sword”, to divide? Sometimes, for the sake of truth, division has to come. Still disagree? OK, let me ask you, would you or your church be comfortable being yoked to the Mormons, JW’s, Children of God or etc? No? Ask yourself, why not? You may say “Well, they have errors in doctrine compared to Scripture?” If so, would you then agree that church’s doctrine must be in line with the Holy Scripture, The Bible? If yes, have you bothered to compare the catechisms of Rome, with Scripture lately? (I say scripture, not Westcott and Hort’s butchered translation, mind).
The Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Mormons come with the Bible in one hand and their book of interpretation in the other. I.e. Watchtower, Book of Mormon/Pearl of great price etc. (Considered equal in authority to the Bible by them).
Jesus said on the Cross, “It is finished”. These groups say “yes, but you need ‘this or that too’ - provided exclusively, of course, by them.
All ‘Christian’ Cults are typified by their charismatic leader being considered infallible; they usually have their writings/opinions and interpretations held in equal esteem with, or above, God’s word – The Bible; they believe that only the adept ones within the group are enlightened enough to interpret scripture or hear the voice of God; they consider themselves as a ‘church’, to be the ONLY ONES, with the true interpretation of God’s truth and therefore the ONLY one true church out there! Are we to be yoked with such groups… surely not!!!
Just because a religion, is large in numbers, or has a long tradition, doesn’t make them the only correct or true representation of Jesus, or His church.
I really could go there much more than this, but you’re probably offended enough already. You are free to disagree with all this by the way, you can thank the ‘reformation’ for that!

I remember at school being taught about King John being required, by his barons, to sign the Magna-Carta document at Runnymede; but were any of us taught the following in the national curriculum?…
As Norman brothers, Kings John and his older brother Richard (”the lion-heart”) really didn’t care for England or its people particularly. Richard, the so called “lion heart” merely siphoned England’s coffers, to fund the pope’s crusades in the Middle East; whilst John fleeced the poor and not so poor, for his own greed and lust for power.
King John’s manoeuvres toward absolute power put him on collision course with Pope Innocent III. The, now classic, battle over whether the papacy has authority over the crown of England, as well as the spiritual hearts and minds of its people, came to a head at this point in history. One of the main contentions sparking this, was ‘who chooses the Archbishop of Canterbury’.
In 1207 Pope Innocent III, invoked the ultimate Papal threat; he put England “under interdict”. (oooh naughty England, smack on the wrist you naughty little nation of heretics… get to your room!) Wait a minute Rome, you can’t talk to us like that; you’re not our mother! (Ah ha, therein lays the conflict of our age!)
Anyway, in 1211 Pope (not so) Innocent III sent an Italian churchman named Pandulf to England in an attempt to “settle” the “dispute”, but was unsuccessful. However, two years later in 1213, after being excommunicated, King John finally agreed to submit to the pope. (It didn’t look good on his C.V. you see). Pandulf came again to England, and met King John at a small Knights Templar Chapel, on the heights above Dover cliffs.
Hosted and witnessed by the templar knights, Pandulf officially received John’s signed submission on the Pope’s behalf, as follows (you might want to sit down before reading this):
“We wish it to be known to all of you, through this our charter, furnished with our seal… not induced by force or compelled by fear, but of our own good and spontaneous will and by the common counsel of our barons, do offer and freely concede to God and His holy apostles Peter and Paul and to our mother the holy Roman church, and to our lord pope Innocent and to his Catholic successors, the whole kingdom of England and the whole kingdom Ireland, with all their rights and appurtenances… we perform and swear fealty for them to him our aforesaid lord pope Innocent, and his catholic successors and the Roman church… binding our successors and our heirs by our wife forever, in similar manner to perform fealty and show homage to him who shall be chief pontiff at that time, and to the Roman church without demur. As a sign… we will and establish perpetual obligation and concession… from the proper and especial revenues of our aforesaid kingdoms… the Roman church shall receive yearly a thousand marks sterling… saving to us and to our heirs our rights, liberties and regalia; all of which things, as they have been described above, we wish to have perpetually valid and firm; and we bind ourselves and our successors not to act counter to them. And if we or any one of our successors shall presume to attempt this, whoever he be, unless being duly warned he come to his kingdom, and this senses, be shall lose his right to the kingdom, and this charter of our obligation and concession shall always remain firm.”1
This is quite a shocking thing to have been signed by the King of England. In a nutshell, this action meant that King John essentially gave “the kingdom” of England to the Pope as a “fiefdom”, and agreed to become a papal vassal. This unrestrained acquiescence by King John, plus the consequent annual (over)taxing to pay the pope, may have been a large factor in the drive to force King John to sign the Magna Carta document a few years later.
The Magna Carta gave some parameters and limits to John’s powers as King, as well as more freedom, influence and governance for the Baron (landowners). It gave nothing to the common man of course, just these select “players”.
So did the Magna Carta legally invalidate the previous Dover agreement?
Well what happened was that the Dover ‘deal’ with the Pope, re-established John within the Church of Rome; he had basically given the Pope, England, legally! Because of John’s original excommunication and his deal with the Pope, England technically belonged to Pope Innocent III as well as his successors; therefore, as John was his vassal, the Magna Carta was a “rebellion” in the eyes of the papacy. The Barons were excommunicated and the Magna Carta was declared invalid on 24 September, 1215. As the initial deal with the pope was legal and the said party did not agree with the Magna Carta, it could not supersede the document, signed at Dover. Soooooooo, unless anyone can find if there’s a rescinding in history somewhere, the implication is that (hold on to your hats) England is STILL a fiefdom of the Roman Catholic Church!
An interesting side-note is that, at the site of the signing of the Magna Carta at Runnymede, there is a monument; not to the signing of the Magna Carta, but in honour of the assassinated US president John F Kennedy, the first (?) Roman Catholic President of the U.S.A. …Why?
Take a moment to re-read King John’s signed agreement again and then stop and ask a few questions
· has the papacy ever nullified this LEGAL document’?
· If it has never legally been done so in history, can the UK, legally, have it recanted without the agreement of the Pope?
Perhaps when Napoleon abolished the temporal power of the papacy in 1801, all such agreements were broken? A bit like when a company, as a legal entity, goes bust. Or when the English civil war ended the so called “divine right of kings” to rule; there was then no “kingdom” of England as such. This would end this whole article right now. However, I dare say Rome has an answer for all this… just a thought to bear in mind however. Any legal experts our there could win the booker prize with a proper research into this issue.
I can’t help being reminded of Esau giving away his birthright for a bowl of stew… scripture says that ‘no amount of tears could win it back’ again! Somewhere in the deep vaults of Vatican nation, lays this ace in the hole, waiting to be thrown down as a gauntlet one day soon.
When will the bishop of Rome openly call in, this “foot in the door” of England?
Well, Mr. Gordon Brown has invited Mr. Benedict to officially visit the UK in 2010. I understand that the invitation has been accepted. Watch this space, I suppose. Expect a lot of closet catholic politicians and clergy will declare their true feelings and allegiance etc… who knows maybe even the Prince Charles will to surprise us? (All supposition at this stage, by the way!)

The Remnant Speaks

The Lord says:
“I am anointing My REMNANT with great power and conviction in the days ahead. I am releasing My fire through their mouths and their tongues. They will speak and act in the boldness of My Spirit, even as they prepare to lay down their very lives.
They have embraced the separated life and forsaken religious convenience and compromise. They cannot and will not tolerate deception masked as unity, but rather would risk their very all for My truth to come forth. I AM WITH THEM, I AM WITH THEM. The world will see. They are in every nation.
Is there not a cause? The lines are drawn, and it has always been so since I went to Calvary’s Tree to purchase freedom for all who would come to Me. Where is My Beloved? Where?
There will be bloodshed in the Netherlands Region because of My Name, but also great victory for My people. A great cloud of confusion will engulf Europe as people must decide where and how to make their stand in the matter of FORCED religion. Much is as stake for the lukewarm, but I give opportunity.
Courage, My ‘Heart’, for that is what you are, My Beloved. Seek my face, hear My heart, hold my Hand. Contend earnestly for the faith I delivered unto you. I am with you always, SPEAK UP therefore My precious few - IT IS TIME!”

Power of Team Work

The time is coming when the church will need to rely on every member of the body. Each person must know their place in the scheme of time and place. To prepare and usher in the Harvest which is at the end of the age.
My calling must rely on yours, my gifts must rely on yours, my character must rely on yours. Vice Versa.
The sooner we carry each others weights and weaknesses, the stronger we will be to stand against forces of darkness and begin to be the light that shines on the hill. Many will see this and marvel at what these men & women have. This will lead to the greatest confrontation between light and darkness the world has ever seen.
I really feel the importance of this time in His eschatological timetable for the future. We must prepare the way not just for the second coming but most important at this time the light to counter-act the darkness in the earth. The hour of power to My people is coming, this is not showmanship as it has been in the past but will be our sustenance during the times of trials & triumph that must be faced in the future of the church. I will confront darkness in due season!
We need to be strengthened to our faithfulness and pure devotion to the Lord.
At this time:
What is God calling the greater body of Christ? Be prepared for what must come, stand in your place and don’t waiver away from the schemes of hell that are surely out to destroy the saints of the Highest and steal their place from the vine.
Stand strong to the basic truth of John 3 which is faith and complete trust in the Saviour who gives us eternal life.
Try to serve from the abundance of what we have. Every little bit counts and has its place.
God will sort out what is His and isn’t His.
I feel this is the word of the Lord at this time:
Where are my REFORMERS!
Guard against:
Guard against self-righteousness as it is an idol of the mind and is an enemy to His movings and can not be tolerated any longer in the church. Hypocritical thought will surrender and will come under submission in this nation. I can not tolerate or work with these beliefs any longer says the Lord. I want Truth whether it is popular or unpopular. Not everything we believe to be right is right by me.
2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.
Stay strong in basic truth and become teachable. The student is NOT above the Teacher.
We can not be more than what we think we are or shrink away from who we are. We have a distinct and unique calling which is made to compliment each other. Diversity was FIRST! Created by ME!
I created you and made you before you were born. I had a destiny for you NO MATTER what you did with your life. I am the Lord your God and am more than able to turn back the clock and the circumstance to what it was originally intended to be.
Know what you believe and STAND ON IT!
Death has no power
over the Resurrected Son
who came and conquered
and put it under His feet
The powers of this age will come to nothing
strongholds will smash
and kings will bow
before a holy and just God
who rules from the heavens above
Only You do I rely on
to ascend the hill of the Lord
where I will meet you face to face
like a long lost friend
Where all is sealed in the Beloved’s love
where kings and queens will be judged with the sons of men
laying down their crowns and all earthly dominions
to the King of Kings
Lord of the air you have NO power
deceiving the elect
bringing destruction where ever you go
For we shall raise a standard with the saints
drawing all our power from the faithfulness of the Grace of God
reconciled to the Truth that we are now received
Declaring once more that You have the dominion
for all of time and into the age we are yet to see
built on the five ministries
and the devotion of the saints
who will make a stand
that you are our Lord and we will have no other higher
Reformers arise in this hour
bringing Truth to My people
having a heart devoted to God
speaking present Truth relevant to this hour
set on the Word of God
taking back what the enemy has stolen
this is My justice for this hour
Prophets stand on your words
stand on the Truth
that you are the Lord my God
in You whom I trust

What is God calling the greater body of Christ? Be prepared for what must come, stand in your place and don’t waiver away from the schemes of hell that are surely out to destroy the saints of the Highest and steal their place from the vine.
Stand strong to the basic truth of John 3 which is faith and complete trust in the Saviour who gives us eternal life.
Try to serve from the abundance of what we have. Every little bit counts and has its place.
God will sort out what is His and isn’t His.
I feel this is the word of the Lord at this time:

Guard against:
Guard against self-righteousness as it is an idol of the mind and is an enemy to His movings and can not be tolerated any longer in the church. Hypocritical thought will surrender and will come under submission in this nation. I can not tolerate or work with these beliefs any longer says the Lord. I want Truth whether it is popular or unpopular. Not everything we believe to be right is right by me.
2 Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve in his craftiness, so your thoughts should be corrupted from the simplicity due to Christ.
Stay strong in basic truth and become teachable. The student is NOT above the Teacher.
We can not be more than what we think we are or shrink away from who we are. We have a distinct and unique calling which is made to compliment each other. Diversity was FIRST! Created by ME!
I created you and made you before you were born. I had a destiny for you NO MATTER what you did with your life. I am the Lord your God and am more than able to turn back the clock and the circumstance to what it was originally intended to be.
Know what you believe and STAND ON IT!
Death has no power
over the Resurrected Son
who came and conquered
and put it under His feet
The powers of this age will come to nothing
strongholds will smash
and kings will bow
before a holy and just God
who rules from the heavens above
Only You do I rely on
to ascend the hill of the Lord
where I will meet you face to face
like a long lost friend
Where all is sealed in the Beloved’s love
where kings and queens will be judged with the sons of men
laying down their crowns and all earthly dominions
to the King of Kings
Lord of the air you have NO power
deceiving the elect
bringing destruction where ever you go
For we shall raise a standard with the saints
drawing all our power from the faithfulness of the Grace of God
reconciled to the Truth that we are now received
Declaring once more that You have the dominion
for all of time and into the age we are yet to see
built on the five ministries
and the devotion of the saints
who will make a stand
that you are our Lord and we will have no other higher
Reformers arise in this hour
bringing Truth to My people
having a heart devoted to God
speaking present Truth relevant to this hour
set on the Word of God
taking back what the enemy has stolen
this is My justice for this hour
Prophets stand on your words
stand on the Truth
that you are the Lord my God
in You whom I trust
Stay strong in the Lord for I will complete a work in you, says the Lord.
