Word 2 for the UK

My people have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water, and hewn for themselves broken cisterns that cannot hold water. Why has the UK become a captive and a prey? Do not rely on your allies.  They cannot help you only return to Me with prayer and fasting and I will show you the way.  Your own wickedness will chasten and correct you.  Your back-slidings and desertion of faith will reprove you. You have forsaken I, the Lord your God and you are indifferent to Me. The fear of Me is not in you. I broke your yoke long ago and raised you up as a nation to serve Me.  But you became proud and said I will do it my way and throw off the yoke of the Lord. You said I will not serve and obey You. You created your own high places of worship and ceased to seek Me with all your heart. My grace is there for you to repent and turn to Me. I am drawing you and calling My people to rise up and purify the land. The land is defiled and polluted but My blood can atone and purify the nation’s sin. Call a day of prayer and fasting. Pull down the altars on the high places and restore Me to My rightful place. Peace and freedom will inhabit the land. I have not forgotten you. But have you forgotten?

Word 1 for the UK

Rise up O Rose of Sharon, you have lost your fragrance because you are dry and need My water.  You need My nourishment and presence in your daily lives.  You have allied yourselves with strangers, those who don’t know Me or My ways.  You have neglected My love and your identity in Me.  You have been robbed and have lost the wonderful heritage I gave you in times past.  I call you to repent and turn to Me with all your heart.  Bring your offerings to Me with a grateful heart and I will restore to you 7 fold what you have been robbed of.  I am calling a people from amongst a people who will be led by My spirit and implement the keys and strategies I would give to you to fulfil your destiny.  I am your gardener but you have been pruned harshly by a hired help who does not love you.  This person has no love or vision of your beauty.  You have been crushed by legalism and regulations in subservience to a system of man.

Rise up, I have prepared a people from amongst you to find and reveal your beauty.   My Prophets and Apostles are being restored and a genuine unity is coming free from the manipulations of men.  The unity will be in truth and from My heart and throne.  As My son warns My people to resurrection power, their fragrance permeates the atmosphere around them, their holiness is purity, forming in a cloud of love to My nostrils, evil waters cannot quench My love.  Only true love for Me and from Me can bring this nation to birth its final destiny.  My Prophets are sounding the battle cry.  Move into position and humble your hearts.  Receive My word and rise up to reclaim your heritage.

It’s like a grand crescendo and the final act.  Pull down all the strongholds in your mind of hopelessness and apathy.  As My army comes into position every member will know their identity and mission.  Unity will explode as every person hears the Holy Spirit saying, “Here is the way, walk ye in it.”  Rise up! Repent! Take your position!  I the Lord am calling.  The harvest is great preparing the way for Me in this nation.  Its final destiny is at hand.  Prepare your hearts to receive Me as your King!

Arise Women of Africa

Arise women of Africa!!!  I have been sensing God’s heart for you for some weeks now.  This is the Lord’s declaration over your life.

‘It is time to come up higher, to see yourselves as I see you, and to see Me in a deeper depth of knowledge of how much I love you, and how much I desire for you to come into ALL I have for you.  My heart breaks for you and it is time to declare “Enough!!!”  It is time to BREAK OUT of the confines of the cage and come into ALL I have for you.  This year, 2011 is the year when many women will arise and come into position to be used in spheres of influence in Africa.  For too long your voices have been shut, and it is time to open your mouths, to confront the injustices, to break out and to come into position as God’s leaders among women.  Many of you are called right now for divine positioning, to speak to local governments, councils, and to authorities, particularly in areas of child education, and health and women’s issues.
I see women bound and imprisoned and it is now time to break out!!!

Arise out of the dust of despair, out of ‘grovelling’.  I see women grovelling on the ground trying to find sustenance.  The Lord says, ‘Lift your head up!’  Arise out of the ashes of despair, it is time for singing and rejoicing as you watch and see what the Lord would do through you women as you position yourself for what I want to do in your lives.  Lord break the chains and the shackles that would hold Your women back, that would hold Your women down!!!’

I see the Lord stirring new vision for many women. He is wanting to enlarge your vision: seeing yourselves as He sees you.  He sees you as one who can overcome, who walks in victory.  There is a unique cry that the Lord is putting in the hearts of the women and He says cry out, shout it out, the sound will break strongholds over your life and the lives of others.  Cry out! Cry out! Cry out to Me!!!

Many women have been in chains and shackles but by the power of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ He is going to shake the locks, He is going to break the chains and bring you into greater freedom.  The Lord needs you for such an hour as this.  This is your hour, women of God, women of Africa!!!  Arise! Arise! Arise!

Declare the enemy is under your feet, it has no right to hold you back, to hold you down!!!  You will see My deliverance in your life!!!

I see many women with unstable minds, they have existed with confusion and conflicting thoughts. The Lord says I have not given you a spirit of fear but of LOVE, POWER AND SOUND MIND!!! The Lord is saying ENOUGH!!!

The Lord is opening the eyes of many women who have been blinded by lies of the enemy that says, ‘You are of no importance, you will stay the same.’  The Lord says, ‘You are not lesser than, you are not insignificant.’  The Lord is going to speak to many of you about self respect.  You show honour to one another but you don’t believe and accept yourselves as many of you have lost your self respect. Lord show Your precious ones and bring them into greater truth.

The Lord declares over you a repositioning as you take a stand against the lies that have held you prisoner to your past, that has denied the power of God in your life.

There is new understanding coming that will sovereignly shift some old thought patterns and will open you up to new revelation and truth from My word.

I have a deep sense of excitement as I feel a stirring in the hearts and lives of you women.  Do not hold back through unbelief but reach out your hand to Him and He will take it.

The Lord is going to reward many of you for your faithfulness through great hardship.

Some will sing new songs, I hear new harmonies a depth of tone of sound of voice that has never been heard before.  The Lord says it is Me, My joy coming forth in unique expressions of song, be free to sing and dance in a new way.  Not by constraints of culture but by freedom of My Holy Spirit.

Lord I cry out to You that You would bring these precious women into greater increase of breakthrough in their lives.  Lord I declare freedom and new vision be released so that greater understanding of who they are as women of God becomes a deeper revelation. Lord stir up the cry, the unique sound that breaks strongholds and brings freedom to Your precious ones of Africa.

Lord ignite a new fire deep on the inside of these women, a fire that would rage and spread across the nations of Africa that would bring change and new vision. 2011 is your year!!!

Lord I declare a reverberation rippling out across the countries of Africa, a unique cry, the cry of the WOMEN OF AFRICA!!! MIGHTY, STRONG, WOMEN OF AFRICA!!!

More Visions of Devastation

As I was in the Forerunners’ worship on the Sabbath Friday night 4 March, I got a vision. It was of a very huge tidal wave to hit Malibu in the United States. The picture the Lord showed me was from a television show called “Two and a Half Men” with Charlie Sheen in it. I had no idea of the geography but, sometimes  the Lord speaks to us out of the storehouse of our knowledge and experiences and storehouse of creativity (especially me) and understanding. He showed me at the end of the introduction of the show where they show a coast line with beach front houses along the beach. This picture I saw was from that show. Then I found out where that was which was Malibu and the wave overtook and consumed Malibu… God have Mercy on Malibu and especially the people who don’t know You Lord and ignore You. I pray and ask for their Salvation in the crisis that they may find You.

I saw another picture separate from this one. It was a big hole somewhere with something like what happened in Japan, the catastrophe and devastation of  it just a mass of rubble of houses, cars, buildings going over the edge like a water fall into this massive hole that consumed them.

I saw another place as well, separate again to the others which I believe was Mexico. I kept on getting that song James Taylor wrote, “Oh Mexico, Oh Mexico. I’m talking about Mexico. I’ve never really been, so I don’t really know. Oh Mexico, I guess I will have to go.” As I was singing this in my head I felt a real intercession for Mexico.

A Word for Australia & New Zealand (Part 6): A Time To Establish

Queensland and Christchurch are at critical times right now as they begin the process of rebuilding. I have included Christchurch, New Zealand, as they too begin to come back to some semblance of normality. Queensland has sustained record breaking rainfall with more than 95% of the state in flood declared areas. Christchurch, the major city of the South Island of New Zealand is now also having to begin the restoration, and recovery process. Words such as recovery, rebuilding, restoring, and re-establishing can be likened to words that feel like the transition season where there is discomfort and unsureness as to where to go and what to do next. There is a defining point of disaster, where nothing will ever be the same again, but then comes the time of having to pick up the pieces and begin to get your life back together. It is taking what one has here and now and working out what to do next. It is a time when clear leadership must be in place with words of encouragement and strategies and keys as to how to begin the process of rebuilding. It can also be likened to our walk with the Lord as we come to crisis point and acknowledge our need of Him. This is opportunity to reach out to the ones He has given to speak into our lives to help us put some things back together and begin the process of moving on.

The Lord has been speaking to me about the word ‘establish’. It is a pivotal word because there is no time like now in the rebuilding process, whether that be in our personal lives or as towns, cities or church that we make sure that things are established on firm foundations so the building process can take place smoothly.

The word establish means to set up a system on a permanent basis, a cause to be generally accepted, placed beyond dispute, to decree, to plant and to settle. It is to fix, to make fast, to set.

We know in Jeremiah 1 verse 10 where Jeremiah speaks about the rooting out, pulling down, destroying and throwing down but the next two words are crucial words for the season in God here and now, for countries, for the church and for many of our lives and they are the words ‘to build and to plant.’

To build and to plant go hand in hand as you must have both working together. For too long many rebuilding plans have taken place without the establishing fixed in place first.

The floods and the earthquake were life defining, life changing experiences for those involved, and there is shock, fear, and uncertainty at this time.

To establish something requires in-depth planning, organisation and leadership to bring about positive outcomes. Sadly, it was said things were going to change in Brisbane after the 1974 floods and as we know many of the same areas were affected again in these recent floods. Clearly something went wrong with the planning, and establishing of the new Brisbane after the original floods in 1974. The same could be said for the other flood affected areas in Queensland. That is why this next process is critical for what is ahead, as to where, how, and in what way, the establishing of the new will determine the outcomes down the road in time. If things are not established on solid ground they will crash and come to nothing.

I want to paint a picture in the natural as to what is happening, as it also speaks of what is happening in the spiritual. If we look at the recovery process involved in the rebuilding of Queensland and other flood affected areas it is crucial that things be established in correct order. Sadly a bandaid was attached to the flooding problem many years ago covering up and hiding what really needed to be done. A bandaid will work for so long, however it doesn’t address the festering sore underneath, the core of the problem. This is where the establishing on correct foundations must be put in so problems do not manifest later on. Things have to be set in place so what is built and added to will stand.

Anna Bligh, our Premier, has appointed a task force charged with putting some things in place ready for the rebuilding. She is also part of this task force. However, if the deep, core issues are not addressed the same problem will happen again. Objectivity is critical in the establishing phase. Objectivity is dealing with outward things or exhibiting facts uncoloured by feelings or opinions. It is a thinking and seeing outside the box. It requires visionary people with set skills for seeing the big picture. They must be people of integrity, without agendas for ‘feathering their own nests.’ Much is being said about the damage to infrastructure, that is the very heart of the community that sustains it and gives it life. Infrastructure is where the structures are set in place keeping an area ticking along smoothly: such as roads, water, sewage and electricity. Without these amenities life becomes difficult to maintain after a short period of time. This could be likened to our hearts, the life blood of our body, soul and spirit.

If we look at establishing spiritually we can see what the Lord is doing in our lives and the life of the body of Christ. Christianity will always have the ‘re’ in it as the Lord constantly brings us back to Him and His ways. The term ‘re’ means to go back and do again. This can be found in words such as return, repent, rebuild, re-establish, redeem, and if we seriously consider this in our lives we see it is because something on the inside of us has not been established correctly. It is no different in rebuilding towns and cities as a result of a disaster, or the rebuilding of the body of Christ on true Biblical foundations. The same principle applies.

As I have mentioned before what we see happening in the natural is also what the Lord is doing in the Spiritual, whether that be as individuals or corporately and in the bigger picture of the body of Christ in the nations in these times. When something is established it is done, it is complete, it is finished. The foundation of this success is when divine order is put in place. Order must be undertaken by ones who are unshakeable, focused, not moved by opinions or emotions. Instead they would rather hold fast to truth and what is right because of a foundation of knowing, of standing firm no matter what. It is being built on the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ as found in Matthew 7:24 -27.

It is also what is required to lead people who need direction and strengthening in and of themselves as they start to rebuild. It is in fact bringing ‘order out of chaos’. It is the process of to build and to plant.

God’s heart is about the establishment of His kingdom here on earth, whether that be in our lives, or the governance of a nation, and the church. That is why the establishment of the new must be done in a Godly and orderly way so the foundations are solid. I am labouring on this as I feel God’s heart and an urgency that things be put in place on solid ground, on solid principles that will stand, so when the shaking comes, we will stand no matter what is going on around and about us.

Ephesians 2:19-22
"Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."

Just as it is critical that order be established as the rebuilding process takes place in the areas devastated by disaster, so it is that we as Christians be established on the truth of the foundation of the Lord Jesus Christ. For it to be established, the church must come into the apostolic/prophetic dispensation, as correct foundations are laid so that people’s lives will stand strong in these dark days.

Order is not control. It is setting right again what was defective, to restore what had fallen into disorder. True Godly order can only come from one in an authority position, one called and ordained by God to lead and instruct. How we react to instruction and direction by these ones is our problem, that is why it is crucial we yield our lives to the Lord and to the ones ordained by God to speak into our lives. They should always have our best interests at heart and want the best for our lives.

The Lord is establishing the apostles and prophets in these times but most importantly He is establishing Himself in His people.  Communities, the body of Christ, and nations must be established on the Lord Jesus Christ, and that is why we are told to pray for those in positions of authority. They are charged with the responsibility of establishing things in order wanting the best outcomes for those they have charge over.

Lord establish Your Kingdom here on earth! Lord lay and establish a foundation deep on the inside of my life so I will stand strong and not bow to man’s ways but rather come into the truth of Who You are and what You want to be in my life.

Romans 16:25-27
"Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith - to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever.
Amen."

Japan and What We Are Witnessing

What we are witnessing taking place in Japan is catastrophic. This truly is a sign of the end of the age and we as Christians must be prepared for what is ahead.

I do not want to be negative, however, the Lord never said we would dodge what is happening in the world, but rather encouraged us that He would be with us THROUGH all our difficult times. Japan is experiencing its most difficult times ever in its history. It is as great if not greater than the bombings of the second world war. The repercussions are devastating.

The Lord showed me in January 2009 seismic activity in New Zealand and Japan with terrible loss of life. We are seeing this taking place now.

What we are witnessing is beyond our thinking, as our minds grapple with the gravity of the loss of life, but also the power behind the earthquake, resulting tsunami and problems with their nuclear power stations.

This is an earthquake of never before seen magnitude, 9 points on the Richter scale, and the ensuing tsunami was mind blowing. The tragedy is the resulting massive loss of life and the devastation and destruction of cities and whole regions. Unfortunately, Japan is a nation that has practiced the worship of false gods with their many religious temples. However, all these people are created in God’s image. The Lord loves them, and it grieves Him what they have been and are doing.

The Lord’s heart is always about bringing ones back to Him and this is opportunity for us to stand with and support them, as and how the Lord leads.

As I have been seeking the Lord about what has happened in Japan, He has shown me the shaking will impact and reverberate throughout the world’s economies. This is symbolic of the economic shaking that is taking place right now and going to take place in the coming months. There are very serious consequences economically to Japan but it is going to ripple out and have far reaching effects on all nations. The share market will be unstable and we will see a plummet in the value of stocks, particularly resource stocks.

This will flow on affecting Australia at the core of its economy. It will bring in a recession not seen before. It will be worse than the Global Financial Crisis as there is no known way of getting out of the economic mess. The false idolatry of love of money has been and will be pulled down as all nations are impacted.

There is much talk ‘out there’, and things written saying ‘the gods are angry’.

I venture to say God is judging some things and we will see many more things happen that are beyond our control because the hand of God is moving. People throughout the earth are questioning: what is happening, why are bad things happening? This is about the kingdom of God coming here on earth. It is about salvation, and bringing ones to the Lord.

There has been much talk about climate change. Man has been able to justify a lot of what is happening in the world, attributing it to climate change. However earthquakes cannot be attributed to this because it is a shifting of the tectonic plates deep in the earth. Earthquakes as defined in insurance policies are ‘an act of God’.

What is happening is an act of God, not of the false gods, but of God.

God’s heart has been and always will be about bringing ones back to Him. Japan as a nation has walked far from the Lord and His ways, but what has and is happening is opportunity for His truth to come to a desperate people. They are a prideful, superstitious people who have accomplished much particularly in the technology, electronics and car industry. They are a studious, learned people who have ‘worshipped their minds.’ The Lord has shown me there is a heart cry from the people at this time that says: “It is futile”. They are saying to themselves, ‘It has all come to nothing.’ They are also getting the revelation that the worship of their false gods is futile. These false gods will not save them. The Lord showed me the following Scripture for Japan.
Romans 1:20-23

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man - and birds and four -footed animals and creeping things."

This is opportunity for the redemptive power of the Holy Spirit to come upon a people who are beginning to have a revelation that all they believed in and held in high esteem has come to nothing.

Lord put a hunger in their hearts to know the truth, to get a revelation that only You, Lord can rescue them. Lord shine Your light into the deep recesses of their hearts, showing them where they have bowed to the lusts of objects and worshipped false idols instead of You. Help them Lord to get an understanding of Who they can trust, that You never leave them nor forsake them. Show them that You are with them in this time of desperate need. Burden them to cry out to You for their help and bring a release of a deep knowing of the love and comfort of the Holy Spirit.

Milk and Meat

Words have been coming forward recently about God bringing meat to Forerunners International. I began to enquire of God about the difference between milk and meat, and noticed something very significant about meat.

Give a baby meat before it’s ready, before it’s able to chew, swallow, digest and process it and you will have problems. If a child is not ready for meat, it won’t have the teeth to chew it, and so it won’t be ready to swallow, in fact, just like the milk, the baby will just try to swallow it straight down and choke, and if it does make it down to the stomach it will be hard to digest.

When speaking of milk and meat, we are obviously talking about truth, ideas, concepts and realities or doctrine. God eases us into things we can easily accept, building a foundation for much more revolutionary and powerful ideas and concepts. Problem is that if we haven’t submitted to the milk, and allowed it to nourish us, then when the meat comes we won’t be able to stomach it. The milk is the basics - if we don’t get the basics right we can’t move on to the more complex topics.

This is what God was speaking to me about:  That just as a baby rejects solid food, when meat comes we will reject it if we have not been trained by the milk, because of offence. It’s a matter of the heart. If we are resistant, and difficult when He’s tried to feed us milk (through the leadership He has put over us) more so the offence and difficulty when we are presented solid food. It’s all about nourishment, if we don’t eat we die.

We are in a season where we need to move on to the meatier things, and I feel that we have an opportunity to examine our hearts, to see if we are resisting, and look at any offence we may be harbouring. It’s time to move on, from mere children, to more mature adults. Our future is dependent upon it!

The Fallen Statue of Christchurch’s Earthquake

One of the impacting photos of the Christchurch earthquake was of a bronze statue, broken in three pieces, lying face down on paving stones, with the left arm snapped off at the elbow. The statue was in front of the Christchurch Cathedral. It is now being used as a symbol of the rising up from and recovery of those whose lives have been devastated by the earthquake.

I had been thinking about the image and thought I’d research the man whose statue was done in his honour. I have to confess I had a wrong picture. Our own thinking and opinions are quite futile and it really doesn’t pay to go in with a certain mindset. The Lord will smash it when He is wanting to speak His truth. I thought this man was probably a jesuit or a freemason and it was symbolic of smashing these wrong belief systems. I could not have been more incorrect. As I researched who this man was and what he was symbolic of, the Lord began to show me what HE was speaking through this symbolism.

The name of the man to whom the statue was in honour of was John Robert Godley.

He and his wife and family came from England to New Zealand where they were used to set up a small town which was named Christchurch. He was a leader who helped the early settlers find work and build this town. He decided to call the area where they were settling the province of Canterbury named after the university in England where he studied. He was very outspoken against the claiming of lands as colonies by England. He felt each province and country needed to be self sufficient, relying on its own people to set up their towns without outside control from England. He only lived in Christchurch for two years where he helped settle four boatloads of settlers in the Canterbury region.  He and his family went back to England where he worked as a journalist until he died.

This is what the Lord showed me as He gave revelation of the image.

Earthquake = symbolic of shaking.
Christchurch = Christ’s church
Statue of John Robert Godley = Godly people
Toppled statue on its face = Get on your face
Smashed cathedral = State of the church, in ruins
John Godley’s left arm broken off at the elbow = dismembered, disarmed, disabled

New Zealand is a nation of firsts, and what we are seeing happening in Christchurch is also a prophetic sign to His church. New Zealand is ushering in a new season where the Lord is shaking His church at its very foundations which is going to  reverberate throughout the world. He is shaking church traditions set up by the hands of men.  He is shaking the old to bring about the new. The Lord is confronting man’s idolatry at many levels but particularly that of church and their buildings. The church is often more concerned for the buildings in the natural rather than the building of His Spirit in the lives of His believers. It is interesting to note that many churches, both old and new, were destroyed in the earthquake. There has been a yoke put upon God’s people where their time, monies and efforts have gone into the restoration of buildings. ‘No more will the church be built on the foundations of the hands of man, of the idolatry of buildings rather than relationship with Me.’ These buildings have exalted themselves above the Lord and with one earthquake the Lord has shaken them, causing destruction. They have become a heap of dust.

Jeremiah 1:10

See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out, and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant.

This was a personal word to Jeremiah, and was a prophetic declaration over his life and what he would do in his ministry, serving the Lord. This is also a way of God, to bring things down so He can rebuild again. We have seen the hand of God move as He has destroyed and thrown down that which is an abomination in His sight. We will now see a rebuilding that will be on the true Biblical foundations of the Lord Jesus Christ. I have a concern which is: we need to know what it is the Lord is requiring in the respect of true Biblical foundation. It has to be about the Lordship of Jesus Christ, about His Holy Spirit leading His church, to do ALL the Lord is requiring in obedience to each and every one of His commands. It is no longer time to add Jesus Christ’s name to every other name, be that religions, culture, or worship of the dead, and worship of false gods. It must be on the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all Names, the only name by which we can come to salvation. That is the contending in God’s church if we have eyes to see. We must see what is happening to Christchurch is a sign to what is happening to Christ’s church.

We have seen the toppled statue of John Godley. It is a prophetic sign of God’s heart cry to His people to fall down on their knees, to seek Him, for we are going to need Him like in no other time in history.  He is calling His Godly people to fall on their knees in prayer and fasting for the rebuilding of His true church. We will see in coming days many churches topple: be brought down in the natural as well as the spiritual. Many churches have closed in recent times, however, in the next season we will see many churches die out and their supposed ‘works’ come to nothing. They will be as dust, a vapour, gone literally in a puff of smoke. Their people walk away disillusioned, lost, without a leader, without direction.  They are ones who will wander in the desert, and in the right time, the Lord will bring them back, where they will be received and nurtured by the new: the truth of the true Jesus Christ.  They will have a new revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

It will only come about as Godly men and women humble themselves and fast and pray for the new to come in. These ones will be instrumental in the building and planting; ones who are true disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ; ones prepared for the dawning of the new church age that is being called in right now: the arising of the true apostolic/prophetic in the world.  It has started and is reverberating from New Zealand, Australia and many Pacific Islands going out from there into all the world.

The dismembered arm speaks of the tearing, severing of a part of the body of Christ, that has been disarmed and disabled. That has been the call of the five fold ministry in the church. The good news is it will be joined as it is the crucial member of the body for this time in history.

The part of the word ‘dis’ as found in disarmed and disabled means a removal of a thing or quality that makes one not able to function. A member means a part of the body. In this case it is speaking of the body of Christ. The apostle Paul likens our physical body to the church. We need each part of our body to be able to function, we cannot do anything effectively without each part working in unity together.  We see this in 1 Corinthians 12:12-31.
Following is a portion of these verses.
1 Corinthians 12:20-22

"But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
And the eye cannot say to the hand, “I have no need of you”; nor again the head to the feet, “I have no need of you.:
No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary."

For too long the body of Christ has been in disunity, competing with one another, and it has been ineffective in bringing the Kingdom of God here on earth.

We have been disarmed, in other words, we have not had the ammunition to fight, to be warriors in God’s army.  Imagine if our nation’s army were not trained and did not possess armaments for war? We would lose the battle very quickly! That is how the body of Christ has been. We have quite literally had our arm severed making us unable to fight or to do all that the Lord has required. However it is changing. That part of the body is being restored. It is interesting to note that at the end of the arm is the hand, symbolic of the five fold ministry. We need our arms to do, to work and to fight. The five fold ministry is about doing the work of the ministry which involves equipping the saints. That must happen in this next season in God. That is why some churches are crumbling, and being shaken to its core. It is about bringing in the new wave of God, the new season of God, particularly the arising of the apostles and prophets. We know we are in end times and it is now time to take our positions. It is time to listen to the apostles and prophets as they bring keys of revelation to the body of Christ and to the world that is hungry and searching for truth, the Truth, Jesus Christ. He can’t do it with the old wineskin, it is about the new wineskin. The old has been brought down so the new can be built on the new foundations, Jesus Christ.

In the last couple of days they have found two time capsules inside this statue of John Godley. Perhaps it is a sign of new revelation that has been hidden and is now time to be opened up for such a time as this. The apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers working together in unity bringing new truth of the Word of God in these times will be pivotal in the maturing of the saints. We are in for difficult times and we are only seeing the beginning stages of end times and we will need these ministries to give us understanding as to what is happening in the world. The world will be looking for answers, and the body of Christ has those answers!!!

To finish: Last Sunday in Christchurch, church meetings were held outside. People came out of their houses, drawn by the sound of music from these services. My heart’s prayer is that these people have been touched by the Holy Spirit’s peace and comfort and a knowing that the Lord Jesus Christ is there with them drawing them to Himself.

This is seeds of revival, of reviving a desperate people who need the Lord!!!

Please continue to pray for Christchurch and New Zealand. They are in peril!!!  Lord I declare the new to come into Your church, that it would be a wave rippling out from the Pacific into the world, a world that needs You!!

New Zealand In Peril: An Alert

New Zealand is on God’s heart at this time. This small nation, a nation of firsts is in its most difficult hour in its history. New Zealand is the first country to see the sun rise, bringing the dawning of a new day. It was the first nation to give women the vote and had the first woman prime minister.  It’s economy is a forerunner of what will happen in the rest of the world. It is a microcosm of what the Lord is saying and doing.

Last Tuesday, 22nd February, Christchurch was struck by an earthquake that shook the core foundations in the heart of a vibrant city. It took place at the worst time, in the middle of a busy, working day, when many were either at work or on lunch break. This day we saw the Lord shake the second biggest city in New Zealand, Christchurch.  Christ— Church was shaken. Perhaps it can be seen as a sign - ‘Christ’s church’ being shaken?

I have been burdened by the Lord for a couple of weeks, and been feeling terrible grief and despair. Sometimes we don’t understand what the Lord is doing, however, I had a terrible sense of foreboding. It was accompanied with the shedding of many tears. As a prophet we feel the Lord’s heart and it often involves carrying His burden for a period of time. A prophet will also be in intercession as prophet/intercessor go hand in hand. Sometimes the Lord reveals understanding after the event and in the last couple of days He has been alerting me as to what is ahead for New Zealand if we do not pray and intercede for this beautiful nation.

Personally, as a New Zealander living in Australia, it has been the hardest thing to stand back and watch the impact of the devastation of what has happened in Christchurch and in the bigger picture, to New Zealand. With a sense of helplessness one can do all that is required, and that is to pray and intercede for its people as it goes THROUGH this crisis. This morning the Lord spoke to me and this is what He alerted me to. This is not against any nation or peoples but rather about the strategies of the enemy that unfortunately will use people for its own ends.

New Zealand is in peril. It is open to OPPORTUNISM, that is unscrupulous men out to ‘get a bargain’ and steal from a broken and vulnerable people. The Lord showed me men from China and Japan, business men, who had no scruples who were out to rob and claim ownership of this nation and its resources. It would be in the guise of ‘offering help’ but its agenda is about taking advantage of opportunities that will be available in the process to start to rebuild this nation. There is a claim to make New Zealand ‘Asian’ and bring it under the control of these nations.

The Lord showed an open door over New Zealand for access by the enemy to come particularly at this time when it is in intense grief. The nation is crippled and vulnerable and in its weakness will reach out to any offers of help without realising it is being set up to be bought, and controlled with a false ownership put in place.

On questioning the Lord about unscrupulous men, I asked Him about unscrupulous women, and He was very emphatic that it was MEN.

The Lord also showed me there was a gap in LEADERSHIP. All the people of New Zealand including their elected members of government and councils were in such despair and in incredible loss and grief that they are incapacitated to lead. There is in fact no one able to lead the nation forward, to bring them out of the depth of despair and actually bring any semblance of hope and even practical enabling to start again.

It is like everyone is in limbo, waiting for someone to take charge, to take the lead.

Again there is an open door for wrong leadership to take a position that is not theirs to have. There is an assignment of the enemy for government leaders to be ‘bought’, to be receivers of aid, but at a cost to the governance of the country.

As the Lord showed me these things I searched out the meanings of key words that bring light into how desperate and vulnerable this nation is at this time.

When the Lord said ‘New Zealand is in peril’ I sensed a deep alarm and concern.

The word peril means serious and immediate danger. When we think of peril it is often likened to ships being tossed in severe storms out at sea with risk of loss of life and shipwreck.
The words ‘immediate danger’ means alert here and now, right at this very time.
Not for a time down the road, but right here and right now!!!

Opportunism is an interesting word.  It is actually about the issues of the heart of man that would take advantage of people’s vulnerability. An opportunist is one who grasps opportunities regardless of principle. In other words, this is taking advantage of people for their own ends, no matter what the cost to the victims. It is crossing a line of conscious in order to gain reward and it is rooted in lust and greed. I would venture to say that this is evil of the worst order. The reality is there is opportunities available as the rebuilding process starts to take place, however, it is about the motivating factors as to why someone would want to be a part of helping in the rebuilding process.

The world needs to understand what it is to be a New Zealander. There are aspects of the nature and way of a New Zealander that is unique because of its isolated position in the earth and the unique makeup of the character of its people.
The truth is the earthquake shook and did damage in Christchurch, but its power has reverberated throughout both the North Island and South Island, the islands of New Zealand. It has shaken the very core of the fibre of this delicate and intricate nation.

It’s geography is stunning with every natural habitat in the world in two small islands.  It’s people are naïve, trusting and perhaps could be spoken of as a bit gullible. We are easily wooed and entrapped by ones out to further their own ends. It’s people can be independent because they come from the English way of ‘they don’t want to be a bother.’

The truth is the Lord has actually set them up at this time in history because New Zealand is a forerunning nation. It is a nation of firsts and it is a sign both to the church and to the world. New Zealand along with Australia are on the ‘radar’ so to speak of world news because of their disasters. We know that there will be increase of earthquakes as we usher in end times. Scripture tells us this. We must not lose sight that it is also the arising of the church, to come into position, to be what it was always meant to be. We are seeing the arising of the Apostolic/Prophetic age, and this is the time when Godly apostolic leading must come into place in the governance of nations, in all areas of community service and most importantly into the church.

The apostles are about restoring order. There is a contending for the positioning of the apostles in all areas of governance, however, the Lord will position key people in authority positions so change can come, so that nations, peoples and most importantly the body of Christ, can be REBUILT on the FOUNDATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.

There is a contending for the governance of New Zealand, for the very fabric of the lives and character of what it is to be a New Zealander. However like all things that are happening in these days and times it MUST come under the LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST. The false agendas of man will be exposed but it is dependent on the apostles to put order into place, for the prophets to speak and sound the warnings and for the intercessors to be given the keys and strategies so their prayers will HIT THE MARK. This is to do damage to the enemies camp so righteousness and justice will prevail in nations such as New Zealand and Australia, for such a time as this.

That is God’s heart for these times, for these nations.  Wake up!!!  I have often said the national emblem of New Zealand is the kiwi, but unfortunately it sleeps 20 of the 24 hours of a day. That is symbolic of its people. They have been asleep while evil is trying to pervade into the fabric of its society. New Zealand must wake up and see what is happening.  It’s nation is in peril at the moment. This is not to alarm but to alert. There is a huge difference between the meaning of alarm and alert.

I am not an alarmist: that is one given to spreading needless alarm. As a prophet my job is to alert: that is to warn, be watchful and vigilant and hold my position no matter what may come.

On January 1st 2009 the Lord gave me a word, parts of which is as follows:
‘I heard a sound, a sound of the Lord’s voice like as a trumpet declaring “Who do you say I am?  Who do you say I am?  Who do you say I am? …”

There will be an anguishing heart cry of people who will be bought to their knees as they see devastation, and destruction in many forms take place around and about them. It will be beyond the understanding of man’s natural mind. There will be things taking place that will be beyond anything that man can resolve, that man can interfere with, that man will try and make better, because it is by the Hand of God that these things are taking place on the earth…….

Seismic activity will increase, with much shaking on fault lines that have been quiet for decades. Japan will have an increase in seismic activity as will New Zealand.  It will result in loss of life, as these earthquakes will hit populated areas which until now have not been affected by earthquakes.’

Lord I cry out to You, to bind up and stop every assignment of the enemy that would come to bring greater harm and destruction to the people of New Zealand at this perilous time. Lord I declare Your hand of protection over the people of this precious nation, who need You like never before in these days and times.  I declare Your Lordship over every area of governance and that the strategies for rebuilding will be on the foundation of the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Your kingdom come, Your will be done in New Zealand.  Lord bring Your comfort, Your peace, Your strength and Your hope to a nation that needs You. Lord bring comfort to those who have lost loved ones. I thank You for this beautiful nation, Your nation, that You will raise up from the ashes of despair and destruction!!!
